Alright, let's do some learning. The first thing to do when you find an RP you are interested in is you've got to read the rules. They're usually in the first few posts.

Note Rule 10. We are all members of the House Syanlins. We are a family (probably loaded with dysfunction, but isn't that the mark of all great families?

). Your app needs to reflect how you are a member of the House. So, go to the house, take a look at the characters and family history, and then determine how you are related.

A brother, cousin, nephew, uncle or any other close familial relation would be acceptable. Though Onty never touched on it, I'm sure being adopted into the family would also be acceptable, but think hard about it before you choose that route.

Your bio and personality need more. Where did your character come from? What was his story to this point? How does he behave? These will inform the other RPers of how their own characters view and act towards your own. As will your strengths and weaknesses.

Again, as Onty said, provide the link for your other RP experience. Some of us have already been playing together in other RPs and get away with no link since we both have the bookmark already. You don't have that luxury at the moment, so find the link so we can review your work. And finally, grammar. Yours is somewhat lacking. I'm not perfect at writing myself, so do as I do and reread what you intend to post out loud before you click submit. You may not catch everything, but you'll catch most of the mistakes you are about to make. Unless English is a second language, in which case you may want to have someone else proofread for you.

Well,I would think that word would have been sent of his birth, as well of his mother's death, considering she was still part of the family, just married off. They wouldn't really know much of him, or that he's down in the south, but they should at least know of his existence if not his name.

Yeah, then that is probably an oversight on Onty's part. Alternately, he may be considering you a part of your father's house. I'll wait for him to get back, since I can't edit the post, but I'm fairly certain you're part of the House Syanlins.

Character Name: Kathrina Syanlins

Nickname (If Any): Kat

Titles (If Any): None.

Age: 11

Appearance: Kathrina is rather short, standing roughly 4 and a half foot, with long blond hair and icy blue eyes. She lacks curves of any significance, which annoys her somewhat as a sign of her immaturity, and weighs roughly 75 lb.

Personality: Kathrina has a waspish tongue, quick to insult or harm others if the opportunity is presented, but otherwise is normally rather quiet and reserved, preferring to remain in the background unless an opportunity presents itself due to her extremely cautious and meticulous nature.

Strengths:

-Age- Although also her greatest weakness, Kathrina's age means that others often overlook her and that she can sneak around easily, allowing her to overhear many things she otherwise wouldn't.

-Birth- As the eldest child of the current head of the house, and depending on the method of succession used possibily the heir, Kathrina can usually use this to obtain whatever she wants within the house, as long as it isn't too dangerous, stupid or overridden by another member of the house.

-Planning- Due to her extremely cautious nature, Kathrina has mastered the art, as far as she is concerned, of modifying plans on the fly and making them. Although probably unable to outmanuver those with far more experience than herself in intrigue, she relies on that they underestimate her to ensure she doesn't become a target.

Weaknesses (Minimum 2):

-Age/Sex- Her young age and gender means that few people are likely to take her views particularly seriously on any matter than is vaguely seriously, and often ignore her altogether.

-Cruelty- Katrina is unable to resist taking a jab at someone, even when circumstances suggest otherwise, and this can and will get her into trouble.

Equipment (If Any): A jewelled knife.

Biography: Kathrina is the eldest (and currently only) child of Aser Synalins, head of the House Synalins. This has, so far, resulted in her being overly spoiled, with a former diplomat as her personal tutor, which has also resulted in her being rather intelligent for her age, if somewhat isolated socially, and with an expectation of if she wants something, she'll get her way. Eventually.

She doesn't really care for the various uncles and cousins scattered around; she pays nosy no attention, them being too old, too serious or too boring for her to bother with, and those few that aren't are normally too busy dealing with something else for them to be involved with her.

Yup. Since I have nothing better to do (beyond sleep, but sod that), and I'm waiting for other people to post in other RPs, and there's only 11 years to cover in terms of bio (which means it probably isn't going to be that long, since there isn't much to cover) it shouldn't take that long to write.
