I meant that they were deep in Nazi Germany's sphere of influence. I kind of assumed that, with a Nazi victory, they would immediately swerve in the pro-Nazi direction.

And Germany would have an embassy in Stockholm, they had diplomatic contact with Sweden as it was theoretically neutral.

Some of the greatest saboteurs for the allies came from Sweden. One guy convinced Hitler to waste Millions of Dollars. Another took and delivered invaluable pictures of German Radar to the British.

They were deep within the influence of whoever paid them the most.

The Finns took 100,000 casualties from World War II. When you only have a population of 3,700,000, that's pretty bad. It's like America losing 8,000,000 people to a war.

You wouldn't recover immediately, even with developed land. Invading Sweden is a shitty idea.

The Nazis sent 10,000 men to the border, which is a shitty idea in the first place, since they get their Iron from Sweden and if they invade the Swedish will blow up all their Iron Mines, temporarily shutting down the Wehrmacht. You have no idea how much the Nazis bought from Sweden.

Meanwhile, 40,000 Finnish Soldiers won't anywhere near defeat the Swedish. They have around 650,000 active duty soldiers right now.
