What's the current IG status of China? I see Japan occupied Manchuria still, and the rest is divided between a light blue and an orange part. Is one of those controlled by the Communists?

Light blue represents all the Chinese. The Chinese didn't start fighting again until they defeated the Japanese, except a few Skirmishes, so for the moment I am counting them as one country.

The rest of China is owned by Japan.

I must point out, the German atomic bomb would have taken years to make. Germany would be lucky to get a atomic bomb by 1946, much less 1944.

I don't think so. The main reason the German nuclear program never managed to make a nuclear bomb was the fact that Germany was loosing the war. The massive bombardments crippled Germany, and destroyed its resources and economy.
In this RP, these things never happened, so I think that the bomb could have been ready in 1944, latest 1945

Well. Actually. The reason Germany didn't make an Atom Bomb was because of them Norwegians. The Norwegians blew up Germany's only Heavy Water Favility through Sabotage, and Heavy Water is crucial for building a Atomic Bomb.

I'm sorry but there is no way the Germans would be ready for testing this early. They were quite behind the US and to give them nukes that quick is ridiculous. You need to finish studying and developing them NAR which should be for you a year and a half. You cant just make Atom Bombs exist when the Germans weren't nearly so close to testing them.

The Norwegian Resistance also destroyed your only Heavy Water facility, and that'll take years to rebuild. I'd say it would take you 5 years at minimum to make a Nuke.

Um, America, you do realise Britain and Canada were already part of the Manhattan Project, right? As in, they actually contributed a lot of research, certainly by 1944.

Oh, and I didn't tell the Soviets we were working on the atomic bomb, just a 'secret project'. They had spies anyway...
