Last night...

"Oh. You're dreaming again."
"Wake up. You can't keep on dreaming forever."
"Even in a perfect reality, your world would still be flawed. Why is that?"
"It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is who you are. Even so, you don't seem to care about that."
"Dreams die while reality lives on. But you'd rather live in in your dreams than reality. Could it be that you're afraid?"
"You don't have to close your eyes in order to dream. Keep them open. Time might leave you behind if you close your eyes for too long."

Erde hadn't known how long she had stood on the main avenue whistling her foreign song... silently she watched the broken moon admiring it in it's desolate beauty... it may have been a pretty gem back in the day but shattered it gave a more realistic view of the world. Or at least she felt that way personally. her whistling was soft and constant placed with little time to breathe which made the one she was whistling with expert practice making it seem like she had an infinite amount of air in her lungs. However it was simply an accompaniment to the overhead moon.

However as Erde was about to continue her walking towards the grounds. She felt something instinctual, something that triggered some deep memory she had thought he had long since thrown away. The faint smell of flowers with the light colors of there petals, or of laughing children innocent to the cruelties of the world that waited to rob them of there innocence... no that wasn't right the one before her knew of the cruelties the world had to offer. Maybe it was the smell of the wafting air that ruffled the trees gently which allowed her to pick up the strange but distantly familiar scent and realign the fragmented memory.

However with a strangely innocent smile Erde looked forward, losing interest in the moon above as her sight fell onto another being alone on the Avenue. She looked strange... no more natural to what she instinctively remembered as her vision placed itself on the furry ears and tail... but her memory was fuddled, cloaked and cluttered by enough blood to fill the oceans and dye them a wonderful hue. No that wasn't right... she could place it... thinking hard as she gently placed a finger on her chin and thought...
However it wasn't until the other spoke that she could finally place it.

"Visiting?"
Yes that was it... That was who it was... Erde lightly smacked her two hands together and then spoke her face crafting a expression reminiscent of a teenager happy to see a long lost friend.
"Ah... Adelly, I'm sorry it took me so long to remember... wait... no...no...No?.. how long has it been again?"
Quickly Erde made a strange look as if lost in thought as she quickly started trying to count on her fingers... However quickly she gave up with a shrug while placing her hands in a odd posture with her palms outwards in a image of carefree resignation.

"Meh bored now, it matters not how long... So..." and then Erde pause once again lost in some distant thought, her expression switching from happiness to one void of every emotion as if she was waiting to die... However as the happy one came back, she resumed having organized her internal thoughts while a innocent smile appeared as a flurry of question suddenly shot out.
"How've you been?
Have you done any traveling?
gotten a boyfriend yet or are you married now?
come on tell me who it is... wait actually don't... i'd be liable to kill him...
Or her if you swing that way... Do you swing that way?...
oh oh... Have you found the Bas***ds who abandoned you?
or do you care about such things?; this far down the line?...

because you know you got that new one... what was there name, Salamander? Salvidor? Silvenson?...
Ahh why can't I ever remember?! I wonder if I took one too many bow's to the head... "

The cat faunus' glowing eyes suddenly twitched and fixed on Adelaide. The once intimidating glare in her eyes was replaced by a look of innocence — one that hearkened to the memory of expansive meadows of flower petals, the sun on their faces and the innocent laughter of children that hadn't experienced firsthand how cruel the world could be. Adelaide's voice may have evoked the smile of naivete, one that characterized Erde before the day she joined the White Fang.

A smack could be heard from across the avenue, and a voice of a happy person came forth. "Ah… Adelly," she suddenly seemed to throw off her dark personality in a couple of seconds as she walked up to Adelaide. "I'm sorry it took me so long to remember… wait… no…no… No? How long has it been again?" She began counting her fingers but then gave up with a shrug saying, "Bored now, it matters not how long. So…" A long pause came after. "How've you been?"

To be honest, Erde was inconsistent with herself that night. Adelaide tried to respond, "I—"

"Have you done any traveling? Gotten a boyfriend yet or are you married now?"

"Uh I—"

"Come on! Tell me who it is! Wait, actually don't, I'd be liable to kill him… Or her if you swing that way… Do you swing that way? Oh oh! Have you found the bastards who abandoned you? Or do you care about such things this far down the line?" There went her dark side again.

"Ummm—"

"Because you know you got that new one… What was their name? Salamander? Salvidor? Silvenson?"

"I-it's Silver—"

"Ahhh why can't I ever remember? I wonder if I took one too many bows to the head…"

Adelaide let out a smile. "Whoa whoa," she placed her hands in front of herself, "slow down. I'm sure we'll have lots to catch up on." They began to stroll around the campus of the academy, starting with the avenue that stretched from the landing pad to the main buildings. As they approached the statue that stood in front of the main building — the one with a triumphant Huntsman and Huntress on top of a Beowolf — that was when she began to answer everything that Erde asked moments ago. Counting her fingers as she answered she replied, "Not a lot lately, not yet, I don't swing that way, I don't brood over that stuff anymore, and why are you interested in my love life?" Others would care, since Adelaide is now 26. "Speaking of which," she threw the question back at Erde with the same teenage demeanor, "do you have a boyfriend? I bet it was Adam, isn't it? Speaking of Adam, his apprentice is studying here! What was her name ummm, Belle? Barbara? Oh, Blake! Yeah, that was her. I sometimes wish that she wouldn't be ashamed to show her faunus heritage…"

Kuhlfros wrote:"I'm not sure yet...she is hiding loads more than she leads on...and can get more explosive than ME!"

Leaning back and sitting down on his bed he looked up into the ceiling as if he was pondering something deep and important
"Which makes me remember... I like to know people, especially those who are on my team, All I know is that you are Mentari Nachtman of the Nachtman group from Atlas...and you are part of Team CMCL" he winked and grinned but continued "So what do you like to do for fun I guess is a good start."

"Wow, sounds like she is interesting," Mentari commented, laying down on her bed with arms stretched up. The more she knew about her team, the more excited she became for the following school year. We're going to defeat so many enemies together!~

Looking to the side towards Lucas when he asked his question, Mentari hummed for a few moments thinking about a reply. "I like anything that has to with tech! Fixing it, making it, building it, learning it, that's my thing." She continued to wonder about what she liked to do, and she finally added, "And running. Athletics are fun."

"What about you?" she asked, putting Eclipse onto the space next to her.

With Leonard gone, Avena was left with her own devices, which was not always the best idea. She sat down on the ground and glared at her Stand. " Sigh...now I've got to figure out what you do." Avena said as she rested her head on her hand. She took a few moments to think about the best way to go about finding out what the Stand does. " Welp, I guess I better start doing random stuff then." Avena said as she popped up off the ground. " I wonder if it's solid." Avena said as she slowly stuck her finger out to poke the Stand. As she touched the Stand, she realized that it was in a semi-solid state and was rather squishy. Where she was touching the Stand, she felt herself being touched. It felt rather odd to her.

Avena instantly had another idea, this one probably not her best. She pulled out Grimsbane and aimed it at the Stand's leg. She was about to pull the trigger when she remembered what Leonard said. " Wait a minute...if what the guy said was true, when the Stand takes damage I take damage. I could blow my own leg off!" Avena yelled out. She flipped Grimsbane around and held it like a bat. She then, as gently as possible, bonked the Stand on the head with the butt of her rifle. She immediately felt the pain and clutched the top of her head. " Damn, that hurt! I guess it can't be used as s shield. " Avena moaned as she rubbed her head. " Maybe I can use it with Grimsbane?" Avena said as she held her rifle out to the Stand. " Come on, boy! Get into the rifle." The Stand stood there without moving at all.

" Get in Grimsbane, you can do it! Come on, move!! Get your ass inside Grimsbane!" Avena commanded, but the Stabd didn't budge. " Don't I have to call out its name to do something? Like...a simple command?" Avena pondered a bit before she tried something. " Severance...reload?" Avena said hesitantly. The Stand glowed and then dissipated into Grimsbane. " Whoa!!" Avena shouted as she looked around Grimsbane to see where the Stand went. She pressed the magazine release and looked at the Mag. There she saw a bright glowing light from inside the magazine where her rounds went. " Cool!" Avena said as she loaded the mag back into Grimsbane. " Ok, let's see if this does anything." Avena said as she aimed at a nearby tree. She stood in silence as she tried to think of a clever command. Finally, it hit her and she smiled devilishly.

" Grimsbane Severance shot!!" Avena shouted and pulled the trigger. A beam of light shot out from the rifle, the force of which knocked Avena to the ground. The beam hit the tree and burned right through it, leaving a smoldering hole. " That. Was. Awesome!!" Avena yelled as she picked herself off of the ground. " Man, I can't wait till I tell the team about this. They'll think I'm so cool, because I got a new skill!" Avena said in excitement as she went off to find her team. Also to get out of there before anyone finds out she destroyed school property.

Erde's silent walk towards Adelaide revealed much, as well as her unconscious attitude when she had allowed Erde's approach. The light raising of her hands, her calm careful tone as they soon found themselves walking the campus. Of course Erde due to her background she carefully looked at the buildings perimeters what were within range and by the area of land allocated, quickly gaining various details about a portion of the academy. However as they got to a statute of two strangers from the past, likely huntsmen and huntress's, Erde could feel the air lighten further as Adelaide answered her prior questions.

However there teenage demeanour allowed Erde to lightly relax as she listened contently to Adelaides voice, allowing herself to close her eyes and lightly smile.
"Not a lot lately, not yet, I don't swing that way, I don't brood over that stuff anymore, and why are you interested in my love life?"
"Speaking of which," "
do you have a boyfriend? I bet it was Adam, isn't it? Speaking of Adam, his apprentice is studying here! What was her name ummm, Belle? Barbara? Oh, Blake! Yeah, that was her. I sometimes wish that she wouldn't be ashamed to show her faunus heritage…"

At the last question Erde shuddered entirely and lost herself as she opened her eyes and was about to look at Adelaide with a heavy glare and give her response, but at the words of the girl "Blake" she quickly lost all anger and then made a small sigh and spoke while lightly placing her hand on her head while a small laugh escaped from her lips.

"Are you kidding me? You do realize what I've been doing for the past eight years... How would I have time for a love life... Well that and the one I want could never accept me as I am now and the other is beyond my reach eternally...
And your completely off the mark with Adam... that guy... doesn't understand people; only what's useful and what isn't..."

Erde then pause as she took her hand off her face and gently place it into her cloaks pockets. But her face looked rather lost as she then continued while her voice became lightly strained, although as she lightly turned her vision onto Adelaide, her eyes were all but hollow and yet there was also a tiny hint within her words as she looked at Adelaide.

"It's why I left the Fang... They made me a monster Adelly, and not just them... maybe if that bastard had just killed me then and there instead of lynching me... and allowing me to survive... maybe.
Maybe all that blood I've dirtied my hands with wouldn't have pained me so much to this day... I'm not entirely insane you know... I still have a consciousness and about what I've done."

Erde then looked down and he ground and sighed, shrugging some unimaginable pressure off her shoulders and then looked up once more at the moon above and smiling gently. As a hand reached into her cloak and took out the same papers from earlier today. While handing them lightly to Adelaide she looked at her and then spoke lightly.
"It's why I joined Haven Academy... I'm a special educator there, well the "Cover" helps and before you ask, No I didn't kill her; her entire team was caught in an accident on some mission they were on, and I came across it after it was all over but since we looked similar I took her place since it could have been useful I wasn't expecting for her to be of similar age and her semblance was similar so I guess I lucked out.
But I have been dragged around a little by the powers that be."

"Well some in the military are pretty watchful, likely some have an inkling of what I am ...
but I have a pretty large free range of movement as long as I don't go too far... ah that reminds me..."

Erde then smiled lightly as she looked at Adelaide, however unfortunately it wasn't a comforting smile, it was a smile of insanity as she then reach into another pocket and then pulled out a small jar and placed it onto he papers in Adelaide's hands. However what was inside the jar would make one react in two ways. Curiosity or fear for inside the jar was four teeth.
However as she spoke her voice was completely nonchalant about the matter due to it being fairly far back in the past.

"I found them for you... I know you said it was past you but I though it would be a nice present...
It was really was a lucky break... one of them had made the Fang irritable while I had still been active so I was sent out to... Remove the obstacle...
Really they kept going on about you as they begged, Seemed they were pretty regretful about their course of action that day ... it really was a bad deal for all of you.
Especially when they met me... They didn't suffer by the way I can at least give you that piece of mind. I was sure to make it... quick."

Leonard made Heamet stood up as the emotions on his face came back, smiling brightly again, the teacher waved at him as he went behind a tree.
And there, he fell to his knees.

"God dammit... Not now... They haven't learned anything yet! They're all just normal and weak, it's not the time to test them yet!" He punched the ground in spite an rage, creating a rather wide hole.

Heamet didn't even hear it, and instead went to search for his brother.

"Theriam! Dude! Grab this, we're going to train like when we were kids!" He shouted, not explaining anything to him.
"I lost my Art too, I'm sure you did as well, so since we can't do anything yet and Leonard hasn't yet trained us enough to make actual damage like we used to, we're going to use those." He pulled out two rather normal looking blades, apart from the fact that they had Dust recipients within, with crystals capable of harnessing Aura of any type.

To this, Theriam simply nodded, the class before this had trained him enough to muster a good enough Spin to transmit on his hands any object he held in his hands.

They left.

And they walked until they came to a straight and thin renaissance like duel arena.

"Do not hold back on me." Heamet said as he mustered a rather big Ripple power for someone that was at his level.

His brother nodded and pulled out the blade.

"Very well then. Do not hold back either."

"I wasn't planning to." They dashed at each other, still retaining the speed they could go for when they had their respective powers, Heamet did the first move as he shouted.

"BUBBLE!" He protected himself against the direct attack of his brother and retaliated by undoing the barrier and going for a wide cut to Theriam's side.

His brother was blown back by the hit, even if he did parry and read his move in advance, he muttered a few words under his breath as the Spin manifested.
"Revolution by Tusk ACT 1." A small being, animal like and mostly brown with small patches of red showed up, making a small sound as it went into Theriam's hand, making it glow with higher Aura power, the glow was dim, yet it felt like a flame was burning in his hands, golden like his original Ripple.
He dashed forward as he went for a remote cut, making a sudden gust of wind go with the Spin launched by the blade, knocking Heamet away, almost at the limit of the fighting ground.
Theriam soon followed by another slash, although pushed back by Heamet.

And the fight went on.

For minutes, then hours.
And after the fifteenth spare, they were at a stalemate, both of them panting, barely standing up, their Aura almost depleted.

"... ... ... Y... ... ... You're pretty good!" Heamet pointed both his index fingers at Theriam with a bright smile, almost falling but holding himself with his blade in the ground.

"... ... ... I'd say... I'd say you got better than before... ... ... Congrats... Seems like this whole ordeal made you a stronger fighter... Heh... Who would've known..." Theriam responded, almost collapsing on himself as he tried to leave the arena.

Heamet caught to him after a few minutes of painful walking.
They were both tired from their semblances and their Aura usage, they physical capabilities were enhanced, but weren't infinite and since they lost so much of it, they were obviously tired beyond belief, it was a miracle they could still stand and talk.

Theriam chuckled lightly.

"So I guess we're back to square one... Right...?" He spoke weakly.

"Sure seems like it." Heamet hit Theriam lightly on the chest.

"Heh..." They both started advancing slowly, yet surely, back to their room, where they would be healed by the rest of their teammates.

After calming himself down, Leonard found Erde's trace.

He stalked her for a bit, however he knew she would see him, at some point, she would.
Or at least, she'd feel his presence.

'I can't really tell her to stop murdering, after all the assassinations I carry for my own account...
Seems like once you taste blood you can't really get rid of it.
Even if you eat something else afterwards.
But that'd be hypocritical...
Hehehe... How ironic of me to say that.' He thought to himself, his killing intent rising for a bit then immediately returning to zero.

He heard their conversation and almost stopped his breathing.

'So it begins.' He continued in his own mind.

He had his knife close enough to his hand so that he'd be able to pull it out if something went south.

'... ... ... Looks like I'll have to spill blood again tonight.
And to think I had to abort the original assassination I had planned for today due to that brat that bumped into me...
Pain in the arse.'

Reina sniffed the air. There was faintly familiar scent starting to float about, and with her history, a familiar scent generally meant someone or something interesting was involved.
She grinned.

"Well, this is certainly worth examining..."

With the scent coming from the direction of the statue in front of the main campus, Reina makes her way there at her usual pace. That being a pace which involves not taking the usual foot routes and making liberal use of jumping from object to object. Landing lightly on her a feet a good distance away from her intended destination, she decides the time has come to go stealth. She opts for just masking sight and sound. If the someone she;s looking for is another faunus, she doesn't want to be entirely unannounced. After all, where's the fun in that? She makes her way closer, rather eager to see who she might end up seeing.

Togami looked at the pair individually for a moment, attaching their names to their faces in his mind for later.

"Hrm... I suppose we could make an attempt to find someone in the auditorium? I think I remember something about a presentation occurring there around this time," The boy looked at his scroll for a moment to confirmed, it's prototype model attached to a band on his left arm and nodded when he find the event scheduled. "That-that looks to be the case. Chances our you're going to be held in the dormitories that way." Togami pointed in the general direction but stopped to consider something: given the cane and the gray eyes, the hunter-in-training felt it safe to assume the girl to be blind. "I'm... sure they'll show you a more in depth way to get there."

Togami turned and motioned for the pair to follow before speaking it aloud,"Come along." He continued with the pair for a moment, and as they were seemingly halfway to their destination. he spoke once more, "So what brings you to Beacon on this fine evening?"

Ning and Sirina

Sirina raised her eyebrow and hit Tomagi once she caught up, "Was that a crack at my blindness? You think because I am blind that I need special treatment? I'll have you know...." She started angrily, but quickly found a hand over her mouth.

"Sirina, calm." Ning said, only to get the blind evil eye. He quickly looked to Tomagi and removed his hand from Sirina's mouth, "I'm sorry about my friend. She is sensitive about how she is treated due to her blindness...."

"Sensitive is putting it lightly." Sirina mumbled.

"Anyways, you want to know why we are here. Well, we got accepted into Beacon. We both wish to become Huntsman..." Ning said.

"And Huntress.... Remember, feminine terms...." Sirina chimed in, "Also, we still haven't got your name."

Togami seized the muscles along his body in frustration as he felt a blow connect to the back of his head. He began to turn to hit the girl back, "Why I ought to-" The aspiring hunter paused for a moment. Calm. Calm. You are not Father. Think now.... Hey, she had to have known where I was in order to hit me. He relaxed his muscles once more and cataloged that information for later.

"Togami Murasaki, sole heir to the Murasaki family-ly-ly," The epithet seemed more forced out of his mouth, as if he were conditioned to tack to the end of his name, it being more representative of whom he was than his own name. The small rubber ball of aura that he had tossed idly before was now in his hand again and he tossed it once more in thought as it glowed in a purple hue that lit the dusk air.

In the distance, Togami could make out two women, on of whom he knew to be his teacher, Ms. Silver. They appeared to be engrossed in a conversation at the moment and he did not want to intrude where he wasn't wanted. He continued walking along and paid them no mind beyond a transitory glance.

As Togami closed in on the amphitheater, he turned to face the pair of colleagues before opening the doors. "This is the auditorium. I'm sure someone in here can direct you where you need to go." He put up a forced smile and turned to go, however, he stopped as if something had just come to mind from the deep depths of his memory. "By the-the-the way-" Togami gave the rubber ball in his hand a light toss to the girl," Catch." A simple test to see if she really could perceive motion. The aura ball would dissipate upon being caught or touching her skin, so there was little chance of a bad outcome.

Ning and Sirina

"So you're a rich kid...." Ning said, "Nothing wrong with that."

They continued to follow Togami toward a building. When Togami stopped, they stopped and listened. Then Togami threw the ball, and Ning just stood there, waiting to see what Sirina would do.

Sirina perked her head up, she could her the balls motion in the air. She "saw" the sound waves created by the ball, and the ones that bounced of the ball. There was no way that she could keep her Semblance hidden now. She reached her hand out and caught the ball, feeling it dissipating as she touched it.

"Is that the best you got Togami..." She said with a taunting smile, "I don't need to see to know that you are surprised. No, I can't see, at least not like you. I am blind as blind is defined as the lack of the ability for ones eyes to detect and process light waves. So, I am blind." She then smiled a more genuine smile, "BUT, being blind doesn't mean I have other ways of perceiving the world..."

Ning then smiled, "You see, we are more than we appear. Sirina is a blind girl who has a different way of perceiving reality than normal. And I don't use weapons when I must fight."

"If I am to be honest, surprise is not an emotion that I am well versed in anymore. I figured that you must be able to sense things around you in some way if you are a huntress and if you were able to hit me earlier. I figured a bit of a test wouldn't hurt." Togami couldn't help but allow a smug smirk to rip its way across his face in spite of his best efforts to keep his countenance stoic. He doesn't use weapons when he fights. Interesting. I'll have to look into that later.

"Anyway, the administration should see were out hear soon and send someone to show you around soon; it would be rude to directly interrupt their business-ess-ess after all."

"I don't refuse. I just find that if I have to fight, I do better without." Ning said, he then looked at Togami, "What do you say? Just to kill time."

Togami considered their offer for a moment, weighing the losses and gains. "Hmmm..." If they are the least bit observant, they already known some of my capabilities. At this point, there isn't much to lose. "You are probably familiar with the concept of matter and energy two-two forms of the same thing. I can do something similar with aura. I can transmute the mystical form of aura into-to-to a form that takes up space on the physical plane." Togami created the ball again, a bit bigger this time and changed some of its simpler properties as he explained them, "I can manipulate a few of the properties of these... constructs such as making it have more or less elasticity, hard, or malleable," Togami formed a construct of a large pair of scissors that gritted with metal against metal as the blade closed against each other , "Generally, the more complex-plex-plex a construct is, the more concentration it-it takes to maintain and therefore the quicker it-it-it will dissipate," With this final note, Togami briefly constructed the ball once more, dropping it from an elevated position and having it travel along a series of rails, pipe, and catapults until the construct seemed to shatter like glass and dissipate, leaving Togami with his hands on his knees in exhaustion.

"It's why I left the Fang."

That was completely unexpected of Erde to do, even for Adelaide. "They made me a monster Adelly," she explained in a convincing tone, "and not just them... maybe if that bastard had just killed me then and there instead of lynching me... and allowing me to survive... maybe. Maybe all that blood I've dirtied my hands with wouldn't have pained me so much to this day. I'm not entirely insane you know, I still have a consciousness and about what I've done."

She looked down at the ground and sighed, and then looked at the moon above. Handing over a couple of papers she told her that she became a tutor at Haven. At least that may have comforted her, knowing that Erde may have thrown away the old hatreds that marred her soul. However, that assumption was torn asunder when Erde handed Adelaide a small glass bottle, one that had four teeth inside. "I found them for you," she smiled with a look of insanity. "I know you said it was past you but I thought it would be a nice present."

Her memory was being recalled in her mind while Erde's voice faded into indistinct mumbling. There she was, a faunus struggling to make her way in the world. She had a dress with a few tears, and had no footwear of any kind, not even flip-flops. She ran and ran through the alleys and corridors of Vale, hoping to get away from the people that she stole from and from the cops. Many times she was joined by other faunus kids who were thieves like her, and they often shared whatever they stole. Bread, candy, medicine and basic weapons were some of those things.

One time, one of her companions was sick with high fever — which was no surprise since the alleys weren't the most sanitary place in Remnant. They had run out of medicine to treat him, so they had to look for money. Adelaide went out searching in the streets for some money, and found a group of humans playing cards around a wooden crate. A few hundred Lien was being thrown to the table for bets, and the others also threw in theirs. She knew that she needed to get that money. She picked up an empty can and threw it at a wall. The can clinked, and the humans took notice. They looked away from the street and to the wire fence behind them — this was her chance. Quickly did she take all of the Lien that was bet on the table and made a run for it. One of them may have spotted her go out to a corner. "Hey! Stop that kid!" he cried out to the others.

Then it happened. A group of humans were on the young Adelaide's tail. Passersby looked on as they saw the faunus rush by them; some of them were being pushed aside by the thugs. She kept on running and running, and didn't mind that her feet were sore from trying to lose them. She found a particular alley with a wire fence and ran over there to climb it. However, she fell down as she made it across, and the humans managed to catch up to her.

She was nearly beaten to death by those men. Bruises were all over her body, and her mouth was seeping with blood. One of them grabbed her by the neckline of her clothes, and punched her in the right cheek very hard and causing her to drop to the ground. Soon after, her body was being stomped upon repeatedly — one of them even had his right boot on her face. That day she wished that heaven would just end her misery. Her memories were rushing into her mind so much that she suddenly felt weaker. Her head felt light, her hand tremored as she held the bottle, and her body wanted to collapse. Good thing Erde caught her by the arms.

"I'm fine," Adelaide said. She gave back the bottle to Erde and said, "Erde, you knew that I was once a thief, right? It was my fault that I was almost killed by the humans I stole from." She felt like crying, yet the tears didn't fall down her face yet. "It was never their fault at all… I-I… I should've been the one regretting." That was when her eyes watered and a tear touched her face. "If-if I hadn't stolen from them, I wouldn't have been nearly beaten to death that day."

Erde saw the look in Adelaide's eyes as she stared at the bottle, and then saw the draining color which left her face. She could feel the sudden shift in her posture, saw the slight tremors in her hand and then watched her fall... To her own surprise she instinctively reached out with her hands and caught Adelaide gently or at least she hoped it was gentle.

But the reality was that the sudden shift in balance made her almost fall taking the weakened Adelaide with her. Out only a instant later she shifted her weight and held Adelaide carefully warping a arm below her armpit. Her ears were twitching as she listened whole heartedly to the received words however as her eyes looked gently at Adelaide's face and the tears that she knew were about the breach the surface soon.
She didn't realize when Adelaide had managed to shift the bottle back into her free hand but there it was, so for the moment she absently placed it away.

"I'm fine,"
"Bull, someone who almost collapse's is not fine! you idiot" erde thought in her mind, but she would never speak such words to Adelaide. However her next made Erde swallow hard as she nodded herself weakly in silent affirmation.
"Erde, you knew that I was once a thief, right? It was my fault that I was almost killed by the humans I stole from."

She looked even weaker and silently, it made Erde's little sadistic side lightly tingle...
"It was never their fault at all… I-I… I should've been the one regretting."

But such small personality twist was instantly blown away as the tear finally broke the surface and rolled gently down her cheek.
"If-if I hadn't stolen from them, I wouldn't have been nearly beaten to death that day."

Erde froze for a moment and then softened making a small sigh and speaking her eyes looking directly to Adelaide as she carefully readjusted and then carefully sat them both onto the ground. With her unfree arm she gently gripped further onto Adelaide and brought her closer while carefully shifting her own weight, then leaned in and kissed the tear away before gently holding Adelaide's chin and snuck one from her lips.
As she pulled back lightly then licking a portion of her lips with a mischievous smile, she quickly made a serious expression and then spoke.
"Stop that... Adelly... those days weren't your fault... you did what you had to survive. I know that you did it to save your friend.
Although that doesn't change the fact your method's were wrong... but your heart was in the right place...
You are strong Adelly... Far stronger then I could ever be...and that's what I love so much about you.
Your honesty, your strength, your ability to make a decision even when the cards are stacked, the way your heart is always caring for others...

Born into struggle but not blackened by it, you crawled your way out of the gutter to stand on your own two feet. It may not have been pretty but your experience carved you into who you were meant to be.
If you were to compare yourself to me... "

Erde stopped... she fell painfully silent and looked away uncomfortably, but for some reason she felt something flowing out. She couldn't understand it... but of course that was only natural after all how could she ever hear the screaming and suffering of her own heart... she would never notice the tears pouring out of her eyes from pain or the feelings of guilt that should take place after every kill, but she was devoid of so many emotions that the entire world seemed numb save for a select few individuals.

"I don't have any honesty, I lie and cheat, kill at my own leisure while taking pleasure in the suffering... A heart to give so easily to others, I don't think I have such a warmth within me anymore. I don't have the strength to trust my back to anyone...
And even though I was born into a loving family, I threw it all away after a single experience and became blinded by hatred for those who hurt me.
I allowed myself to be tainted until my morality was so warped that even if my own parents passed me they wouldn't recognize me anymore...

Your everything I know I can't be... "

And then Erde broke completely as tears suddenly overflowed, quickly instinctively she withdrew her arms away from Adelaide and then cradled her hand's onto her head... but she couldn't understand why, but quickly she started rocking while sobbing, as pain assaulted her, she quickly shut her eyes wanting to avoid the distorted scenery. but her voice kept going rambling words until the finally became incoherent with her painful sobbing.

"It's not fair... it's not fair... Why did this world have to do this to us... to so many like us... I didn't want to be a monster who only knows how to kill... but its all I can do now is tear out a person's throat... how do I go back... Back to that innocence... how do I live with the countless amounts of people I've killed Adelly..."

Grinning, Mentari sat up, grabbing Eclipse in her hands. "Her name is Energy Charged, Laser Induced Plasma, Series 1, or Eclipse for short! Beautiful, isn't she? She has three settings, all of which fit with my fighting style!"

She began by showing him the dual forked blades. "This is her basic form. Dual blades, both forked and folded 26 times. I'm a decent dual swordsman, though this isn't my strong suit." She then connected the two hilts together so it looked like a dual ended spear, but suddenly two of the 'prongs' sprang to the side, and it looked like a giant throwing star. "I sometimes call her second form Sonnenring, a shuriken that can be thrown and fly back to its user should it not hit its target."

With a click of a button, Eclipse began whirling to life. Parts moved around, including the blades, but she continued holding the middle where Sonnenring had been. After a few seconds, movement stopped with a 'click', and Eclipse's final form was revealed.

"A large laser cannon," Mentari described, carrying it on her shoulder, "ammunition is all kinds of dust, and will define how the laser's effect will become. High velocity, extremely far range, and very, very, very deadly."

She threw it up into the air, and it quickly split and turned back into Eclipse's first mode, of which she caught in her hands. "And that's it!"

"That is damn amazing! I wish I could see it in action..but I guess we have to wait until tomorrow huh?"

Pulling out Storm-sent in "compact" form for easy carrying he said
"Well you showed me your's it is only fair I show mine right?"

With a flick of his wrist and press of a button, Storm-sent whirled, twisted, and extended into a 5 foot Great Ax and he lifted it up and slowly swung it around his head and body with one arm
"This Storm-sent in it's current form before we get to work upgrading it, this is what I call mode: Jarl or Alpha, which is a great ax with a tesla conductor on the top above the head so that I can kinda direct my semblance, and at a press of a button or speaking a certain word I can shift it to...Raven!"

The Great ax head and part of the shaft burst off the rest of the shaft while the shaft contracted and a ax head and spike end expanded out from it, the ax head expanded into a round shield with grips and fell right onto Lucas' extended left arm
"Mode:Raven a soon to be throw-able round shield accompanied by a multi-purpose tomahawk/combat ax and finally Mode:Thunder..."

The weapon collided together again and whirled around into a gun similar to a 50.cal Browning M2 with a tripod and everything, however also had a carrying method to be fired in the hands of someone with great skill and strength (Lucas)
"Thunder, my third and final mode is a 50 caliber heavy machine gun capable of firing 2,000 yards away at high rates of fire, carrying an assortment of regular and dust rounds that I change and vary on it's belt to occasion. I also plan on making a semi-auto mode so I can take more precise shots with it if need be."

He then explained, "I have several upgrades to it I plan on getting down, I already mentioned two parts of its turn into Storm-sent 2.0, a return function so that I can retrieve my ax and throw-able shield, a dust inductor so that I can use my melee weapons with dust capabilities, and enhance the tesla conductor on my great ax so that I can use my semblance better with my combat."

"Oh and my semblance, as far as I know so far is a summoning and slight control over storms and the events in one, like rain, wind, lightning...I need to get stronger at it...and as for my special combat armor, I'll show that tomorrow, but that's where I am thankful I can understand technology for the most part and was born in Atlas before moving to Vale."

He smiled again, happy to have an almost normal conversation after all the weirdness, except for the fact they were a hunter and huntress talking about the capabilities of their highly lethal weapons...

Seeing how Charlie had fallen asleep, Chess gave a bored sigh. Standing up, the boy dusted off his vest and straightened his tie. With a brief stretch, the sutra-chanting samurai, well, ronin would be more precise walked briskly back to his team's room. Only to encounter a strange sight. His two other teammates -- Mentari Nachtmann, and Viking Boy Generic, were comparing weapons. Not at all strange. Nope. He rapped his knuckles on the wooden door, leaning on it's frame as he stood, a grin on his face. "Yo. Skipper's going to be okay, and will be retaining her sanity for the duration of our stay together." He looked quizzically at the viking. "I didn't catch your name, viking?"

Togami nodded, hand gently cradling his chin as he considered what was said. "You asked about my weapon earlier-" Togami pulled out a rifle with curved bayonet-like protrusions sticking from the front that seemed to glare menacing at their foes with a purple hue. The teenager tapped the blades before pressing a button behind the handle and tossing it gently into the air. A series of mechanical clicks and and snaps rang through the hallway as the rifle turned into a hatchet-sized battle ax that Togami caught with ease as it fell back to the ground.

"So, these chakras... what do they do exactly?"
