She stood up and followed Mentari, wondering what on earth was going on and where they were going. She wasn't going to lie, she had no idea what she was doing, but she had been meaning to talk with her team for a while and she supposed it might as well start with Mentari...

Here goes nothing, I guess. Oum help me, if I screw this up again--

Well then I might as well just go straight to plan C.

Erde watched as the bird marveled, no he was enthralled was with the comic issue in her collection. And as he handed it back, Erde put it back into her case quietly enough as she listened to the birds chirps.
"Well, you have certainly got my interest," "What's in it for me?".

Erde could feel something off a wave of killing intent which had just been pointed was now aimlessly emitting.
However as a scream echoed piercing her poor ears, she heard the chirps of her baby bird in distress.
of course Erde smiled lightly and then lightly nodded as she watched the bird. It was unaduable with the sudden rising chirps as she had wanted to speak with a softer tone but she left the message she wanted to deliver none the less, whether the bird read it or not pretty much would deem his future worth.
Then i'll see you later...

As Erde watched the bird move away as a small gathering was starting to appear, another two birds soon turned from the gathering, one which was slightly bleeding. Now it wasn't as cute as simply fluttering down. After all the birdy was bleeding and being dragged out of the library against its will and Erde lightly watched with fake concern as the bird who she had held in her hand "Jackson" quickly followed.

Of course this gathering and chirping was rather annoying and had cost Erde her current prize, so she lightly took a step forward away from her briefcase leaving it behind, and then another. Her shoe's clicking as she walked towards the flock. And then she saw it, the knife's and anger the one who drove such an empty and aimless killing intent. She couldn't help but lightly scoff at the growing situation at the one who tried to defuse a situation with a weapon pointed... What an utter idiot and this poor little bird even had the gall to go on about fighting environment...

It was too much, simply too much, that it was begging for her "kind" interference and so with a growing smile. She lightly closed in and approached, she killed her movements audible noise making her steps silent against the floor.
Like a wisp, floating but haunting, Erde strode thorough the side of the gathering and simply walked behind the girl who had given off such wondrously vacant killing intent... then ever so gently moved in beside her and placed a hand ever so gently onto her right shoulder, leaned in and then from a split second gave off an intent to kill so deadly, one could simply feel it pounding against every fiber of ones being while lightly whispering into the girls ear while wearing a malevolent smile.

"That's enough... little girl, your causing a scene..."

Yuki didn't really know what she was doing... all she could feel was immense anger, strange, how strange that such an emotion existed within her, such an emotion which was generally directed at Grim would be pointed like a blade at another being... another person. However she could feel it, the slightest feel of her "Hand" tearing through something... The muffled sound of a screams. The gaze of him upon her, the glazed tone of his voice. the sounds of other voices... so much noise... it was so.
Pointless... she had nothing, was nothing and would become nothing...
However as much as she wished for it not to... voices still rung in her vacant mind, words bouncing, sentences reverberating. Tones of empathy which she couldn't understand roaring onto a frozen world trying to thaw it once more.

" I don't know what I did to cause this attack, but I'm not taking pity on you. My words are sincere, trust me, I would never lie to a friend. You are strong, crazy strong to be a huntress, and I should know. If you want to blow off some steam, I'll be glad to fight you...as long as it will help you understand what I'm talking about."(Avena)

"Yuki please, this is a library, you can't just go around freezing people or yelling.
If you do want to fight, then I'd advise you at least leave the library.
We don't want to have to fight again do we?"

"I know what just happened, don't tell me I don't know how you feel. I would get quite ticked at you, should you have the nerve to do so.
Plus, I'm not in the mood to fight right now. And I'm not sure some people would appreciate it if you started fighting random people.
I hope you do realize that this girl's team is right next to her, right? And as far as I know, they have their weapons."

"Hello again, it's been a long while, hasn't it?" (Theriam)

"I-I-I-I-I don't want to become a Leif Spruce snow cone, or a block of ice!" (Leif)
"Oh my god, Avena!" (Carmina )
"What happened?" (Jackson)
"I have no idea why you did that to Avena here, but you mess with her or any of my chums, you mess with me. If you want a fight, you got one, bitch."(Carmina)
"Yuki! What the fuck!? That was totally uncalled for!" (Carmina )

"I told you Yuki.
Avena's team was right there.
Yet you still go and make such mistakes.
Looks like you still have a lot to learn about environment.
Fighting environment that is." (Theriam)

Too many presence's... to many pitting eyes... she hated it... hated it, Hated it...hated it all... how long were they going to continue talking... continue staring. It was her own fault... she wouldn't shut up with her sympathy and pity. Every one was mocking her, staring at her and her missing arm. It was all his fault... he had tried to fix her... had tried to fill her void only to gaze on another leaving her in the dark... if he had never awoken that which was dead, she wouldn't have to suffer so...

Stop staring at me!, I'm not broken... I'm not some monster or machine!, He... He said so...
Yes, yes you are..., Haven't you noticed it... He doesn't love you, he never did, your nothing to him, and nothing to ANYONE!.
Your feelings where just that one sided, like a mirror always looking back at yourself and imprinting what you lack...
Poor little Yuki... woe is me, woe is me, Look at me... Why won't you look at me! or is it you're afraid to see the weapon you wanted to be...

THAT WEAPON YOU TRAIN TO BE... AbSeNT... VoID Of FeeLInG... VaCAnT oF MUrcY...
Only to the grim that took everything from me... I never wanted to hurt anyone!
You just don't get it do you... everything you are will hurt.... EVeRyOnE....
No!... i dont want to be a Machine anymore...
Yes you do... its so much easier to just follow an order... don't deneigh yourself what you really are... A... Murderer... A MoNsTeR...
I'm not, IM not. I'm not. i'm not... i don't want to be anymore!
Oh but Yuki, My sweet little snowflake... WE ARE....
You
just
don't
know
it
yet...

Internally Yuki was struggling, struggling so much that she was blind and continued to be blind to the events outside...
Theriam throwing his knife at Carmina's feet... Carmina being on the table, Avena being dragged away, Carminas ongoing drone. Solowly her once blurred vision was clearing, the hazy voices were ringing and yet the world felt like it was spinning. Vacantly Yuki was about to move her head to look upon the strange weight that was dragging at her crippled arm. At the same time carminas voice drove into her once more.

"Four o'clock today, cliffs. I don't wanna have to go to sleep pissed."

Yuki was about to vacantly respond to the order with a silent nod... or she was she had meant to until, something slipped behind her. No not something... someone someone so quiet their foot steps had long since vanished from the ongoing commotion with her that had held many attention, someone who had no earthly presence, something akin to her nightmares filled with grim.
It was like the true cruelty of the cold which suffocated all life out of the body like dying from blood loss, that same sudden terror. That is what Yuki felt as that icy grip was gently laid upon her shoulder and as the "monster" leaned in.
In her vision caught a glimpse of silver hair, brilliant like the moon light on a cloudless night. And yet the voice cold and unfeeling and the instantaneous killing intent that accompanied it for but a moment was colder then anything Yuki had felt before...
With a few single words. Yuki broke more then she had in forever. this "Monsters" dominance was just that powerful.
Her pores opened as sweat was instantly dripping down her neck, her spine and nerves had chills she had never felt before in her entire existence. Her mind screamed as warning bells rang loudly and yet it was all droned out by those seven words...

Those seven cold, ruthless and choking words which made Yuki suddenly lose control of herself in utter fear and released a stream of dirty liquid which ran down her leggings. it was just that kind of crushing existence that gently held her down and yet made her afraid to even draw breath.

"That's enough... little girl, your causing a scene..."

Quietly all Yuki could do was nod, her body trembling violently and then fade out as her mind was overtaxed by such extreme fear that it made her lose consciousness.

Erde, watched the girl with purple hair with interest as if silently admiring a new "toy", The girl who had become frozen with fear that same one who had given off such aimless intent. No longer held any of her former anger as Erde picked up the sound of the girls meek herself dirtying of herself. With a gentle smile Erde watched as the girl carefully nodded once, understanding Erdes silent order to stifle her quickly freezing rage and then like a dancing marionette felt the girl's strings which had held her afloat be ruthlessly cut as she fell unconscious.

As the girl fell Erde's gripped moved watching her fall as if in slow motion, as her fingers roughly gripped into the fabric of the girls collar and held her mostly upright as the poor things legs lost all conscious movement and gave under her own weight.
Erde had made the act look as easy as picking a rock from the ground. But with Erdes ruthlessly held the girl from the blazer's collar it was a scene that could only be called cruel. But as Erde held the girl with her right hand she lightly moved beside the girl and then released her weight and quickly gripped the girl in mid fall and grabbed her interlocking her carrying point to her waist and hefted her up quietly.

Anyone would have had a concern over the scene just witnessed, But as Erde made an innocent smile at the gathering now focused on her; she then lightly spoke her tone and pitch light as if this was just another day at work authoritative and yet friendly resembling that of a teacher which her cover was.

"I'm taking this girl to the infirmary, all of you go back to studying, this commotion is over..."

As Erde paused she carefully looked over the students and stopped upon the girl who had been on the table, looking at Carmina with a quiet gaze. However the stare of her feline eyes was unmistakably that of a "predator" in the hunt.

"You, your hope for a duel is cancelled, Do you understand... at least until this girl is well enough mentally... And If she doesn't remember your challenge, then drop it.
The simple fact is, you don't have what it takes to challenge this one... if she develops and grows past her current limitations."

With that small sentence Erde lightly sighed and then quickly backed out of this gathering and headed towards her briefcase. Erde left the "Bird's" behind as they started with renewd vigor their insentient chirping which simply wasn't as cute at the moment as it built up behind her.
As Erde walked to her briefcase, she with a bit of lethargy bent down for a moment to pick it up and then left once more towards the bypassing the girl who had fallen on her bottom near the library's entrance and looked into the hall in front of her at the one who she had crashed into. Her face which had been that of a teacher for a moment expressed sudden surprise at the gazes that she found in front of her.

His face so similar to that of the foolish bird that had run out to save those he didn't know and yet it seemed a little more grown up. As Erde looked upon Togami and another, but she couldn't help but finding herself somewhat smiling. A smile that was welcoming and yet still a little mischievous in a good way as she thought about the one who had just crashed into him. Erde stared and rapidly a small prank fell into her head to make fun of the little bird she would at least take his attention at the moment from her and keep it all for herself. Erde stared at the young man and lightly closed her eyes and then lightly leaned in close enough to his ear away from the other listeners and then whispered lightly, quiet enough so that hopefully only he would hear.

"You've gotten a little stronger... haven't you little one, Meet me in the courtyard later tonight, I want to see how you've progressed myself... You understand and can guess what would... happen... if you miss this appointment... yes?"

As Erde lightly pulled away from Togami she realigned herself more to his face and then leaned in and pecked(kissed) him on the cheek and then pulled away and started walking away towards where "Reina" was hiding, But for a moment she lightly turned and then looked at the fallen bird and lightly licked her lips as if she had no care in the world and then continued walking. Her silvery tail lightly swiping back and forth in a happy mood, then as if remembering something, for a moment Erde stopped and turned on her heel and looked at the one beside him... (Clover)

"You can come to... if you want, just don't keep me waiting... If you can infer the rest yourself that is. "

And with that message finished, Erde resumed walking towards her destination, as she walked the hall, she allowed her steps to make noise once more as she found her rhythmic steps comforting and rounded the corner, passing by where Reina had been hiding, Of course it wasn't like Erde could see Reina but as her rhythmic footsteps continued for a few seconds, but liek a beasts internal sense, Erde felt even still that something was... off.
So Erde stopped, turned her head and stared... Stared at exactly were Reina had hidden herself and then ruthlessly smiled in her direction while mouthing her next words... no sound was necessary after all her intent was a clear as day and as sharp as a knife...
Of course Erde didn't need to see Reina, after all Erde already "owned" her and would never let her willingly go, the poor thing just didn't know it yet.

"I SEE YOU, Reina chan... See Y.O.U. later... "

And then with that simple blood chilling expression passed, Erde turned her head and continued walking until she reached the Infirmary with a pleasant smile on her face. Readjusted Yuki's unconscious body into a princess carry after setting her briefcase onto the ground and then opened the door. With a careful bit of footwork, Erde walked in and quietly moved to a free bed and placed the unconscious girl quickly under the sheets and then noticed the other occupants of the room.

"Oh... we've met again haven't we young man."

OOC: It's about a month since the duel happened.

A cool and pleasant summer breeze blew into the room from the outside, and Yang could feel it blow lightly against her face. Ah, that was good. Today was quite a scorcher, and droplets of sweat were dripping down her body. The only thing that kept her cool for this long was the bubblegum-flavored popsicle that she had pulled out of the fridge minutes ago—and finished off. Yang was in practically nothing but her damp gold-colored bra and her denim mini shorts today, since it was hot in Vale—not that Blake would mind. After all, Blake was busy studying her notes, occasionally glancing at the doodle she did of her former mentor, Adam Taurus—and would care less if Yang was too revealing.

The two were the only ones inside the room, as Ruby and Weiss were in class. Boredom and the summer heat were working together to make them idle. Once the breeze passed, and the room was turning hot again, Yang groaned. "Ughhhh god," she plopped onto Weiss's bed and lay down face up, spreading her arms outwards—sometimes glancing at the popsicle stick in her right hand. "I'm melting. Heeeeeeelp."

Blake seemed apathetic of her teammate's predicament with the weather. Oh come on, Yang was getting a little upset. Doesn't she know it's a scorcher? "Blake," Yang tried getting her attention again. "Blaaaaaaake. BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE."

And Blake thought Yang's sister was the annoying one… "What?" she responded, clearly irked by her teammate.

"Help me…" she reached her arm out for her. "I'm turning into waterrrrrrr… Don't you care for your teammates, Blake?"

My god, Yang was making herself look droll. Blake wasn't going to put up with this, nu-uh. She sighed and reluctantly got off her chair, heading for the fridge to find something to get Yang to shut up. She pulled out another popsicle and gave it to Yang. "Here you go."

Her friend got herself up and placed it in her mouth. She didn't like this flavor, since it was sweet cheese. "Ugh," she immediately pulled the popsicle out. "You know I don't like this flavor."

"At least you're going to cool off," she quipped peevishly.

A knock sounded from the door out of the blue. Who could that be at this hour? Blake headed towards the door while Yang just placed the popsicle back in her mouth, moving it back and forth and feeling the ice cream melt on her tongue. Oh god, that was good—screw it tasting like super-sweet milk and cheese. Blake opened the door, and on the other side was Aiden. Her eyes slightly dilated. "Oh um, Aiden," she said to him. "What are you doing here?"

"Huh?" Yang pulled out her popsicle and leaned forward to see who was at the door. "Oh hey!" she waved her right hand wildly. "How's the arm coming along?"

Some of the melted ice cream splattered onto her breasts by accident. Staring down at them she remarked, "Whoops. I totally forgot I was eating this, hehe." Standing up she grabbed a towel and said, "I'm gonna go take a shower."

"Sure," Blake replied.

Yang entered the bathroom and began to take off her clothes one by one. Her bottoms came off, and her bra was tossed into the sink. She was as bare as a newborn baby. Stepping into the shower she closed the door and turned on the blue tap. Cold water came out of the shower head and soaked her body from head to toe. "Ahhhhh," she exhaled. "This is soooooo goooooooood." Her golden hair was lathered with a sweet-smelling shampoo, and she scrubbed her body all the way 'till there were masses of bubbles all over her—the bubbles covering much of her body, and keeping those really important things out of the sight of God, Monty, Salem, or whatever gods Remnant clings to.

Aiden's face went from vampire pale to about a light red. Not because Yang pointed out her breasts, but because he was nervous about how he was going to go about this interaction. He was hoping that his life was being decided by two nerds sitting behind a computer determining if he could go out with Blake, but it was a mere dream. But, as he was a polite person, he decided to respond to Yang first then Blake.

"My arm's doing pretty good. It was broken in several different places, and those fractures had fractures in them. But it's mostly fine now. In fact, in a couple of days, the cast should be coming off. Nothing can keep me down long right?" Aiden said before turning to Blake due to Yang's trek into the shower, "And I wanted to ask you something. I mean, you should know what it is, but I still need to ask you. It gives me comfort to do so." Aiden said to Blake.

I don't care if I melt in shame, it'll be worth it to date Blake. Hell, I'd be willing to do just about anything. Except, you know, a lot of things. Oh look at me, I'm talking to myself in my brain again. I'm so weird, but maybe Blake can't hear this! Oh, duh. She isn't telepathic. Okay, you're just going to wait for Yang to enter the shower then ask. Wait, materials. Flowers? Check! Personality? Check! Eyes averted from naked Yang? Da self-comrade! Aiden said to himself, still looking away from where Yang was showering. He looked Blake in the eyes and tooka deep breath.

"Blake, I have come to love you. I know that sounds really corny and chessy, and it's weird that I'm asking you standing in the hallway whilst your teammate is showering. And the other two could walk right up to us right now, but it doesn't matter. Blake, I would love to go out with you. May we please go out?" Aiden asked, holding out a bouquet of flowers. He prayed to Monty that'd she say yes, or that he made enough luck.

She grabbed her purse and put Squeaks in his cage under her desk. Before Adrian could respond, Leika grabbed him by his hand and led him out to her car. She was still feeling pretty pumped from standing up to Adam, and she wasn't thinking about what she was doing. She led Adrian to her car before she realized what was going on.

"Oh, I'm so sorry about what I did, I just got so wrapped up in my thoughts. Please forgive me." Leika said, blushing heavily.

He simply inclined his head calmly. "No need to apologize. The person who is lost in their own thoughts is the one who has thoughts to be lost in, and intelligence is nothing to apologize for."

It might have sounded like flirting, but it was really just how he talked.

"No, I should apologize. I always have to ask people's permission before I do anything, it's a sign of respect. Anyways, how does lunch sound? I mean, we're at my car, and I'm really flippin' hungry. How about it?" Leika asked looking at Adrian. She didn't know what it was, but there was something that drew her to Adrian. Was it the kind language, the well-kept body, or was it the fact that he didn't mind Leika not asking him to do something? Leika didn't really know, and it was bugging her. Much like Aiden, she hated not knowing what it was that drew them to something, or caused them to dislike something. However, she just assumed she liked him for his kindness and appearances. To many kids had disheveled hair, crazy clothes, or even random piercings, but Adrian did not. So she just assumed that she liked him for those two things.

"I'll pay for lunch too. I don't mind." Leika then said, making sure she had her wallet.

It would seem Silence was the awkward friend stuffing itself between the two as they walked the many halls of Beacon, heading towards the exit. Fear and Anxiety stood close behind, just a little bit in front of Pessimism. These four unseeable beings whispered into Mentari's ears, but the gentle touch of Friendship covering her ears kept her steady.

By now, they had already made it into Vale, always a bustling city fit for all classes from aristocrats to street beggers. The average thief snagged at opportunities, always having a small troop of men in blue close on their tails. For this fine day, Mentari stopped right in front of a small yet orderly restaraunt, men and women of formal dress welcomed and leaving the establishment at ease.

"Well, here we are," Mentari announced, pointing at a snowflake-like crest just below the name, Spice of Dust, "that's our classmate's family crest if you didn't know. They own the Schnee Company, wonderful thing to know, yes?"

As she stepped towards the enterance, she was stopped by a tall butler with a crisp uniform. He stood with both pride and humbleness, but from the look of things, he was anything but humble. He looked over the two like they were lost children before asking, "Might I question the purpose of your visit?" he asked in a royal tone. It were as if he was waiting all day to use his status to wash away the riff-raff.

"Lunch," Mentari replied in an equal tone, recieving a smug smile from the man in the tux.

"Reservations for whom? We don't neccesarily make instantanious arrangements you see, particularly for-"

"Nachtmann."

"...Pardon?"

"Mentari Nachtmann," she pressed, and the once proud face became little more than a pale choke. The main supplier of the Schnee Company's machinery?! With hesitated stutters, he stepped aside, and bowed before the two.

"H-Have a pleasent afternoon, m'lady.." he said, to which Mentari raised an eyebrow, but gestured for Charlotte to follow.

"Set things on fire?" her eyebrow raised. Whatever she was talking about, it wasn't going to be good at all. Eh, everyone sets something on fire eventually, literally or figuratively. "But yeah," she shrugged. "It is pretty useful. In fact, one time I noticed that Jackson was having some trouble upgrading his weapon, and so I wanted to help him out. Of course, when he asked me for some tips in upgrades, I just told him right to his face, 'Why didn't you just ask me to help you forge? You know I learned forging from dad.' Short story shorter, it took us several days to come up with something, and voila!"

She opened her scroll and showed a few pictures of an upgraded Apertor to her and Theriam. "Apertor 2.0!" she smiled. "See here, this first mode is his usual bat mode, but then this here is his new blade that pops out from inside. Oh yeah, and also a shotgun mode! I had to tell him to not have his gun be a carbine since that would take up too much space for the magazine."

Theriam had stars in his eyes, simply looking at an upgrade of a currently existing custom weapon made him the happiest he could ever be.

"I like the design, it's nice, and the idea for the blade isn't bad either, at least Jackson will be able to inflict cutting dam-"

Then Theriam felt someone pass by him, speaking to Yuki.
It couldn't even be called someone, nor something.
Into his mind, it could only be called it.

Although Jugo's personal alarms went off several times in his brain, Theriam remained outwardly calm.
But it was as if he was frozen in place.

The poor man had tried to stop her internally, but to no avail, her mere presence terrified him.
Or at least it terrified his body, his mind however seemed to be keeping all of its sanity.
Perhaps due to dismemberment, or perhaps due to the horrors he had seen, but it meant nothing outwardly, his body, no matter how loud his mind would scream to stop her, was stuck in place, with a simple, disgusted scowl.

However, there was someone else.
Someone just as terrifying, but yet not exhibiting nearly the same amount of ghastly presence.

The presence simply followed her quietly, shooting a bright smile at the students looking at Carmina's scroll and threw a bag of fried rice crackers at them.
"See you later bloke."

Then Artol came, with just the same feeling of odd happiness and otherworldly positive attitude.

"Hello hello!
Theriam! Friend! Do you want ice cream?" The man greeted him with one of the usual phrases.

"I... It... It would be appreciated, thank you Artol." Theriam lowered his head in shame, the fact that couldn't save the girl he considered like his little sister made him sick.
But Artol, somehow, had a way of making him feel better about himself.
"If you- wait, who am I kidding, of course you do have them, could you give some to Arrietty and Carmina?
Thank you."

"No problem~" The man answered with a childish smile.

Infirmary

It was true that Heamet was odd, and to some, he even neglected his Hunter training, however, it was all but naught.
He did take it very seriously, and for once, some people could see it.

Heamet actually took up the job of nurse assistant to help the current one, as there was only one employee.
"Is this a case of Sharpe again?" He shouted out, however, shortly after, he got his answer by stepping behind curtain next to him and seeing Avena without her top being taken care of.
For now, he had personally finished his own tasks of cleaning wounds and helping around in general, so he thought it was a good idea to talk to the members of the Mad Sniper's team.

"Hey, been a while hasn't it?" Heamet spoke with a sarcastic smile.
"Of course, I don't mean you Avena, we miss each other all the time.
How are things going these days?"

"Lunch sounds excellent," he responded smoothly, "and while I appreciate your offer, to allow you to pay for me would go against every code I hold dear. So I'm afraid I must decline and insist upon paying for myself."
Sonitusia wrote:It would seem Silence was the awkward friend stuffing itself between the two as they walked the many halls of Beacon, heading towards the exit.

Charlotte followed her nervously, feeling totally out-of-place among the people around her, even Mentari, who seemed to have some unknown influence. M'lady? ...I don't know anything about her...

"Mentari," she whispered, "why have you brought me here? This is too good a place for me." Although some people might have said it with hesitation and regret, she was quite candid about it. She didn't believe she belonged in this place, among all of these people who were so... so much better than she was.

She wasn't even sure why people would talk to her. As far as she was concerned, she was beneath everyone else. But she didn't want just anyone to know that--they'd surely take advantage of her if they figured it out. So she pretended she saw everyone else as beneath her... It was a comedy in a way, her life, just how twisted everything was, whether it was the rare case of it being by her own design, or more commonly, from events spinning wildly out of her control.

It was as if someone wanted her to hurt. Someone beyond the people around her who had caused such pain, someone who played them all like puppets on fragile threads, made them for entertainment and tossed them aside when they could no longer entertain. Someone whose fun was based on making her suffer, and then bringing fragile drops of light into her dark life...

She just hoped, if that was the case, that the person at the other end of the strings would let her have a happy ending. Not that she would be all that surprised if they didn't. It was just too much to hope for, she supposed. After all she'd seen?

But why was she even thinking about it? It was a ridiculous thought, and depressing in and of itself. I'm no one's puppet anymore. No strings on me.

Right?

"I suppose because you're someone dear to me? As a friend, of course. Well, I have no idea really, but I wanted to visit this place some time in my life, so I suppose if it's with someone who looks at me as a friend, it's fine."

She smiled brightly towards Charlotte. "You do see me as a friend, right Lotte?" A fluttery feeling swept her as she asked. Pre-Beacon, she would've been outcasted, no matter how interesting she was. Now, she had people she could speak with, people she could try new things with. First it was Chess, now Charlotte. She wanted to share something that she could possibly give to her teammates.

"I don't what would make you happy..." Mentari said sheepishly, picking up the menu and looking over the courses, which hailed from the many kingdoms of Remnant, "So I thought if we both felt something new, it'd be fun."

Mentari, despite economical advantages, was a stranger to the luxuries of the rich. She was raised humble, save for growing around advanced technology. The Nachtmanns were never extravagant, always focusing on perfecting their work for humanity to bother relishing in their wealth. On the occasion Mentari did feel something different, it was when Nachtmann Tech, as a company, was invited to a sponsorship celebration, and her father would always bring her along and talk about how sponsoring worked. She always loved layered cake, but it was only an annual thing.

Lotte?

...A nickname? I... I kind of like it. It's not cruel. It's... kind.

...I don't understand. But I suppose I don't really need to.

"I don't know much about friends," she admitted, "but you probably already knew that. But I think... I think that yes, I do see you as a friend. And... I know I don't act like it that often... but I really do appreciate you, and Lucas, and even Chess, although I'd appreciate Chess more if she was perverted less." She managed a wry smile. "And I am trying to be a good leader, although goodness knows why I was chosen for it in the first place, I mean I'm probably the least qualified person to lead anyone. But that's not important right now, is it? I-in case it wasn't clear, I don't really know what I'm supposed to do... with other people... it's all quite awkward, really. But it's... a good sort of awkward."

Studying the girl for a moment, she coukd see the face of someone who felt insecure, but wanted to find someone she could trust. And for Mentari, it was about the same.

"Awkward, what an odd word the can describe many things, both positive and negative. Emotions, situations..."

A waitress came over, asking what they'd like to order. Mentari quickly scanned the name two more times before replying, "Uhm... Poulet Cordon Bleu alá Mistral, if you don't mind." The waitress bowed slightly, replying, "Not at all, madame."

She turned towards the other guest, Charlotte, and warmly asked, "And what dish may I serve you this afternoon, madame?" Mentari stiffled a laugh, as she too had been nervous in choosing which dish and saying it out loud. The name was so... Equisite, to say the least, yet it rolled off the tongue smoothly. Like the dish was a romance awaiting. She gave Charlotte two thumbs up in encouragement, hoping she would just pick whatever looked good in her mind.

Amazingly, Charlotte actually managed to order without stammering or getting tongue-tied. Equally amazingly, she was able to make eye contact with the waitress. Of course, after the other woman was gone, she ended up just staring down at the table awkwardly and wondering why that had been so incredibly hard. Being called 'madame' was quite amusing, though. I wonder what she'd call me if she knew? Never mind, if she knew she wouldn't call me anything, she wouldn't even speak to me. I feel like I'm at a masquerade and nobody knows who I am under the costume.

"So..." she said nervously, "can I ask why they let you in after finding out your name? I... don't really know much about you."

Just like her namesake, she handled that really well! Mentari was amazed, though she didn't show it in case the other might take offence. A yawn echoed in the back of her mind, obviously her favorite alternate personality. Having a date withdraw the redhead? Didn't know she was you type.

She ignored that.

"Weeeell, I guess you could say because I'm a Nachtmann, of Atlas," she tried to say without arrogance, but there was a sense of pride that she was a part of the family, "We've produced and innovated tech for several generations, and are the number one supplier of machines for the Schnee Dust Industries... So I suppose that's my leverage..."

She didn't know what to ask Charlotte. One wrong turn, and she'd have stepped onto a landmine. "By the way, what's your thought on technology?" she asked aimlessly, looking for a way to get to her.

Sirina woke up to the sound of silence. How long was she asleep, well she couldn't tell you. She looked around, no one was in the room with her. Must not have been asleep for to long... Or they haven't returned... she thought as she sat in her bed, Its to quiet... I'm bored...

She sighed and noticed a mug on a table. Umm..... I think I can break that... she thought as she began to hum slightly. She focused on the mug, watching it for vibrations. Everything has a resonant frequency at which it's very building blocks vibrate. If I can find and match the frequency, I can manipulate the sound of my humming to match the frequency and force the mug to vibrate more intensely. In doing so, I can shatter the mug... she thought as she tried different frequencies.

Then she saw it, a slight vibration, Got it. she thought as she smirked and focused on her humming until the mug shattered. It was then that she heard someone coming. She listened to the steps as they approached and listened as the door opened. Then she smiled.

"I know she's a teacher at the school... Teaches combat, and has a semblance not to different from mine." Sirina said, "She also can be scary sometimes. She doesn't seem to care much for students, but I think at her heart she really does care for the students. Where were you by the way?"

Octavia responded, obviously somewhat shaken, saying “I was making a call to a friend. he's an undercover journalist with whom I've worked in the past. Currently, he's doing an investigation of the White Fang, trying to get information, which he then passes on to me, just in case he gets found out and killed. During this call he mentioned something rather unusual regarding Mrs. de Mazelle. Apparently, she is at the very least a former White Fang member, responsible for several bombings, and killed a few dozen people within the White Fang when she left. I'm not certain how the hell she managed to get a position at this school with that sort of past, do you think I should try to investigate?”

Jackson and Leif

Jackson sighed as Avena bit her lips from the pain of the antiseptic. "Sometimes you just don't shrug things off like this casually," he told her. "You can't just get in situations where you're in danger all the time."

"Yeah," Leif added. "From the looks of it I think you should give Yuki some space, yeah?"

She was here all too often, either because she tried to impress a certain someone with her skills, got into trouble with another student in a fight, or exerting herself too much in sparring classes—not minding that her Aura is very low. The two watched as the nurse placed bandages on Avena's wounds to stop the bleeding. This was followed by another series of bandages wrapped around Avena's chest. The whole process took a few minutes.

Once the nurse was done she said, "That should do it. You may need to stay here for a couple of hours, Avena. I don't want you to push yourself too much today. Honestly," she rubbed her forehead with her index finger and her thumb, "you should try not to end up here next time."

Ozpin

"I appreciate what Wolf Industries has done to help the common man be more prepared for the Grimm—not just in Vale but in all of Remnant—but our Huntsmen and Huntresses are more than capable of fending off any threats to humanity," he countered. "And I am sure that my colleagues both inside and outside of Beacon will agree. I don't believe that the company will be needing any prospective recruits from Beacon, since it is stated that Hunters' allegiance with any entity is not to be held under any circumstances."

Avena just chuckled at Jackson's words. It's like he didn't even know her. " You know I can't do that, it's me we're talking about. I live for the danger and excitement, that's why I became a huntress. Avena Sharpe and danger walk hand in hand." Avena said with a smirk. She then glanced at Leif. " Yuki's hurting for some reason and I'm going to try and help her. I can't just standby and watch a friend suffer." Avena said in a more serious tone, the most serious she has ever been. She lifted up her arms as the nurse began wrapping bandages around her chest. The pain from the antiseptic dimmed and Avena felt more comfortable to move. However, the nurse advised against moving and told her to stay in the infirmary. " No can do, Nurse. I've got things I have to take care of. Thanks for patching me up though." Avena said as she stood up. She grabbed her leather jacket and put it on. She then zipped it up to cover her bandaged chest since her shirt was trashed.

Sirina Zezili

Sirina kept neutral, not reacting to her teammates obvious suspicion of Riena. Have to be careful here... I can't let them know she's up to something and I'm with her... she thought to herself.

"I don't know. It seems to be the sort of thing that the school would have already looked into. I doubt they'd let a dangerous criminal become a teacher here." Sirina said, "But you have to remember, the White Fang wasn't always how they are now. They used to be peaceful, I don't know why they changed and that's not my focus in life. If Miss de Mazelle was a member of the White Fang, wouldn't it make more sense that she was a member when they where peaceful? That would also explain why she is a teacher at the school."

Sirina paused, "As for the information your friend gave you, I'm not saying you need a new source, but I honestly think your friend was misinformed or made an assumption. As if your friend was right, Miss de Mazelle would not be a teacher." Sirina sighed, "As for my opinion, I wouldn't bother investigating such an unlikely claim until I am provided some sort of evidence to make the claim more likely. But you are you, not me, so if you desire to investigate, go ahead, I won't stop you."

Ning Kohkahycumest

Ning looked to his uncle and stood up after carefully removing Lilybet from his lap, "Thank you Uncle for the tea. It was as good as always. We have to go now, we have a project to finish and we need to leave now if we have any hope of finishing it." Ning said very Ningly, trying to hide re pain of lying and succeeding. Though Togami would know that he was lying through his teeth.

"Very well. It was very nice to meet you Togami." Ning's uncle said as he stood up.

A minute or so later Ning and Togami where standing outside the house. Ning started heading back for Beacon with Togami.

"Are you sure you're alright Togami?" Ning asked, "I mean, anytime I try and think about my mother..." Ning stopped and took a breath, "Anyways, we are teammates, and friends. We should be able to trust each other with our feelings."

Togami finished his goodbyes, and quickly followed behind Ning on his way back to Beacon.

"Are you sure you're alright Togami? I mean, anytime I try and think about my mother..." Ning choked up for a moment, and took a breath to keep himself under control. "Anyways, we are teammates, and friends. We should be able to trust each other with our feelings."

Togami fixed his glasses and responded, "I feel better actually. Knowing- remembering... there is something freeing about it."

"I have to pick up something in Vale, but I'll meet up with you later. If worry come to pass, just text me." With that, Togami pressed his palm towards the ground, creating a long poll that propelled him towards the city. His ax proved invaluable at slowing his descent by swing around a tree on the outskirts of the city.

The rest of Togami's day played out fast-forward: Picking up the broken part. Returning to Beacon. Running around with Clover and then finally running right into Jolana ben Lowenstein.

"Oof-" Togami looked up from his SCROLL to see that a smaller student had turned the corner, unbeknownst to the fact that he had been turning at the exact same time. "Apologies...." The teen couldn't remember a name off the top of his head for this peer, "...pal. Tell you what, it's about time to pick something up to eat. I'll make it up to you. Let's head down into Vale. I have some things to pick up while there anyway."

It was then that the eyes of a monster called to the teen with an entrancing gaze that could only come from one person. The woman that attacked Beacon. The feelings of that night overtook him and he felt that same hopeless weight on his shoulders as he did when she first walked towards him. His hand went to her gift: the dagger with its scarlet blade and coursing dust, but her words stopped him from proceeding.

"You've gotten a little stronger... haven't you little one, Meet me in the courtyard later tonight, I want to see how you've progressed myself... You understand and can guess what would... happen... if you miss this appointment... yes?"

Togami's hand lit up a deep violet with frustration, but as that last word left her lips, the terrorist leaned down to the student and pecked him gently on the lips before he could even consider putting up a fight, rendering him void of thoughts in such a tumultuous emotional state that a single word cannot display accurately how he felt.

To say Octavia was somewhat shocked would be a bit of an understatement. "Are you seriously going to dismiss serious claims like that? All right, to start with, to say that said person is my friend is a bit of a misstatement. We've worked together, I was acting as a gobetween for Minor Key and said journalist, and in the time I've known them, they haven't said anything that was not truthful, as far as I'm concerned, he is entirely on the level. Secondly, De Mazelle allegedly participated in several bombing. If that isn't something you should take note of, I don't know what is. Furthermore, along with the bombings she allegedly killed several White Fang members when she left the organization. Now, I don't know if Ozpin thinks that she's turned over a new leaf or if she simply managed to keep her crimes hidden or what, but whatever else is the case, the truth will eventually be found, in this case through undercover work. Furthermore, As already mentioned, I have a...connection to Minor Key, and through them to the journals of Major Key. One of the last entries before he disappeared and presumably died contains a description of a White Fang member whom he had encountered trying to blow up a building. The description matches quite closely with what Reina looks like. As a final thing to note, I did do some research on various professors in order to decide who to have classes with, Reina has literally no information about her anywhere I could find, including records from other schools except for Signal. The question is then, how did she get advanced enough combat skills to even be considered as staff for an elite school such as this?"
suddenly, realization struck Octavia, "Oh Monty, please don't let me be right, just this once, don't let me be right..."
With a deadly calm tone of voice, Octavia said "Sirina, I've told you where I was before I got to the dormitory. do you mind telling me where you were? because I do wonder why you were so desperate to deflect attention towards a 'bad source'."

"You want to know why I am willing to claim your source is bad... because Miss de Mazelle is one of the few teachers who has actually tried to help me on multiple occasions. I can't help but hope she is good and these claims aren't true." Sirina said calmly as she sat down, "Before I came here I was sitting out by a tree, and met this egotistical bitch named Anastasia. She claimed to be royalty and sure acted like a snotty royal. We got into an argument and afterwards I came back here to speak to Togami, but he wasn't here so I took a nap."

Carmina Birch

Just before Yuki could respond, a Huntress came out of nowhere and whispered something into her ear, causing the ice princess to faint. Who was she? Carmina was caught off-guard by this. What was she doing here? With Yuki in her arms the Huntress told them, "I'm taking this girl to the infirmary. All of you, go back to studying, this commotion is over."

Before she left, she glared at Carmina and bluntly told her, "Your hope for a duel is canceled, do you understand?—at least until this girl is well enough mentally. And if she doesn't remember your challenge, then drop it. The simple fact is," she mused, "you don't have what it takes to challenge this one, if she develops and grows past her current limitations."

The redhead was unsettled by her words, especially how she seemed to know that Yuki's power was perhaps more potent than what was let on. What the hell? She was frozen in place by fear, probably because the Huntress was looking her right in the eyes with some kind of malicious intent. But she quickly regained her spirit and called out to her, "Fine, but I won't pull up the stops if she does." Sitting back down in her chair she snorted, "Man, can you believe that woman?"

---

"Oh, you think I'm a pyromaniac!" Arrietty giggled. "I suppose in a way I am. Only in a roundabout way, though. Fire is my semblance—well, technically, fire is me…" she shrugged. "It's kind of hard to explain."

"Well your sword isn't bad at all," Carmina replied. "After all, they are one of the ways you can channel your Aura as well as your fighting ability. I mean personally, my weapon—Helfarch—can transform into a naginata as well as separate into two swords."

Artol showed up to the scene as well—a student who was just as cheery as Arrietty was. "Hello hello!" he greeted.

Carmina overheard that Theriam actually had some rice crackers with him. "Oh, cool!" She was tossed a pack containing some, and she took one and ate it.

Jackson Silver

"But still," Jackson wasn't going to let her shrug it off as a scratch. His team leader was coming up. "Being a Huntress ain't about looking badass and going headstrong first into danger. It's about protecting others who can't protect themselves as well as ensure we all live long and happy lives. I don't know about you and your thirst for adventure, but I think even skilled Huntsmen out in the field don't just look for Grimm to kill."

Avena ignored the nurse and got off the bed, zipping up her jacket to cover her body. Jackson placed his hands in his pockets and told the nurse, "Yeah, I think you've already noticed she's always like that."

From out of nowhere Malidia quipped, "Oh, we meet again, haven't we young man?"

"Agh," a chill passed through Jackson's body like a disembodied ghost about to possess him. He turned around to finally see who was creeping him out with that statement. "Oh," he breathed a sigh of relief. "It's you."

"Huh?" Leif turned around as well. "Who's she? You know her?"

"Oh ummm," the faunus scratched his head. "We just met at the library, she's some kind of Huntress visiting here. Anyways, I'll meet up with you later."

"Okay," Leif nodded. Spotting another familiar student in another bed (Heamet), he waved at him with a smile.

"Hey!" Heamet replied. "Been a while hasn't it? Of course I don't mean you Avena, we miss each other all the time. How are things going these days?"

Miss her? Leif was confused for a bit there. "Wait, can't you just show up at our room? I mean, yours is across the hall from ours, right?"

Once Jackson and Malidia had stepped out of the infirmary, he immediately brought the topic of discussion back to that lucrative contract that she offered to him—something about comic books and other things. He should want to help her, if it means having access to those limited edition serials. "Now, what were you saying?"

Blake Belladonna

Now that Yang was out of the way, Aiden was free to ask Blake something. "I mean, you should know what it is," he said to her, "but I still need to ask you. It gives me comfort to do so."

"Okay," Blake nodded. "I'm listening."

Aiden paused for a few seconds, occasionally looking down at the floor and bowing. He was clearly getting so concerned about something, but Blake didn't seem to know what. "What?" she tried to stop the awkwardly silent mood brought into the room by Aiden. "What's wrong?"

Looking at her in the eyes Aiden confessed to her that he loves her, and that it was weird that he had to ask while the other members of RWBY could show at any moment. "Blake," he produced a bouquet of flowers from behind his back. "I would love to go out with you. May we please go out?"

Her cheeks flushed pink. He… loves me? She didn't know what to say as she received this flowers from him. This was all so sudden, so fast, so unexpected. Was this actually happening? "I… I…" she stuttered in her words—but as she gazed into her eyes, she could see that he was indeed eager to hear her accept. He had an honest intent, something that she wanted out of people. She neared her nose to the flowers and smelled them, and they were sweet. She exhaled and looked at him in the eyes again.

"Sure," she replied. "Where you want to hang out?"

Ozpin

This commander of G-COM seemed to be a mysterious persona—just as much as the Professor was. Was Ironwood perhaps backing the project as well? After all, James was perhaps the most anxious out of all of the headmasters of the four academies, and would prefer to use sheer military might to prevent the Grimm from breaching into the kingdoms. Jack seemed to be choosing the same course of action as the general was. "Very well. I should advise you to try to convince currently active Huntsmen and Huntresses to support your cause, as well as inform students of this matter. Whether I will personally support your efforts will be revealed in time, Mr. Reilly. I hope you understand that."

Aiden smiled when Blake said yes. Well technically she said 'sure', which was close enough for Aiden. He had to suppress a giddy giggle, for once in his life a girl didn't reject him. That and he got over his fear of asking Blake out, but he was happier about the first one. His major concern was now making sure she didn't dump him within the week.

That shouldn't be too hard though. I'll be fine as long as I don't do anything weird. Okay, now where do we go. We can go to this new restaurant that opened up. I heard that they have amazing food there. Yeah, that's where I'll take Blake. We have time, it's not far, and I bet she'll enjoy the food there. Aiden decided, determining where he would want to take Blake, but he had a plan B just in case that didn't work.

"Hey, I heard a new restaurant opened up near that one dust shop. You know, the one that got robbed a couple months ago. Yeah, I heard from Fabi that the restaurant sells amazing food, and I want to take you there. I'll pay for it all. But if that doesn't strike your fancy we can just walk around Beacon and chat. Either way works for me." Aiden said, smiling. He really loved Blake, and now that he was with Blake, he'd do anything for her. Except a handful of things he'd never do, even if Monty himself commanded him to do so.

Better to die with your morals intact, than to bow to the whims of tyranny. Was Aiden's motto and he applied it to any situation, even with things he loved. It was a motto he was taught by his parents when he was younger, and he always lived by it. Aiden held out his hand, hoping Blake would take it, and smiled at her again. This was the happiest moment of his life, and nothing could ruin it. Not even a barley clothed Yang could ruin it. Even though the fact that Yang could walk out any second wearing nothing but a towel was a possibility Aiden was not wishing would happen.

Umber liked the library at Beacon. She’d liked the one in Atlas as well, but it had seemed so boring and practical in comparison. Everything laid out in neat and tidy rows, in brilliant white metal shelves that didn’t have any of the character of the wooden ones that surrounded her. It had always reminded her more of a hospital than a relaxing place to study or read, and Umber had never really liked hospitals. The Beacon library did not have the same sterile feel to it.

The major advantage the Atlas Academy library had held, in comparison, was its less unruly patrons. They, at least, hadn’t been the obnoxiously loud, seemingly psychotic ragamuffins that apparently made up a large portion of Beacon’s membership. Granted, Umber was no fan of the discipline-intensive and orderly school she’d attended before, but fighting in the library was taking it just a little too far. In comparison to that the annoyingly loud voices and eating were relatively minor, but they still annoyed her. Some people just could not have any consideration for others!
Rupudska wrote:-Jolana-

Aidannadia wrote:-Togami-

The thought came back to haunt her almost as soon as she attempted to exit the library. Some tiny klutz had managed to bump herself into another student so hard as to actually fall over. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad. Still, Umber couldn’t be too amused. She’d gone through her own awkward period years before as well. She’d once managed to bump an Atlas teacher’s SCROLL out of his hands so hard it had broken when it hit the floor. That had been embarrassing. Particularly since he’d been taking roll-call at the time. This kid had lucked out, she was in a library and there were only a handful of people to see the fall rather than an entire class.

“—Help—“ The voice was scratchy and electronic, with no inflection that might belie whether it was a request or an offer. Compensating for the failing of her new voice, Umber extended the hand not at her neck controlling it to the girl who had fallen to make it clear she was making an offer. To be doubly certain, she cocked an eyebrow. There was a familiar heat rising in her cheeks, but there was nothing she could do to combat it. It still happened whenever she ‘spoke’ around anyone new. But it didn’t really matter. She very well wasn’t going to write down such a simple offer of help on a SCROLL. If for no other reason than doing that would be even more ridiculous than asking in her unnatural voice.

If she could get used to it, other people could as well.

Umber’s eyes flicked to the boy—Togami, if she remembered correctly—and she gave him a quick scan. Some Faunus bi—girl had been hanging over him moments before, but she’d continued on her way. Umber couldn’t say she was unhappy with that, much as that wasn’t a ‘proper’ thing to admit. He looked rather dazed, however.

“—You—“ Umber ‘said’, tilting her head slightly at the boy.

"It's... useful," she said slowly, "as long as it's used carefully. If mistakes are made, or it's put into the wrong hands... well, then things can go very wrong..." She lowered her eyes for a brief moment. So that's what her leverage is. Lucky for her. Your family shapes your future. ...At least, it did mine.

"Thanks! I do love it. Much better than the first one I tried using, that ended really badly. For several people." She frowned. "Anyway, who was that lady? She was all icy. But I'm fire, so... Oh! Hello to you too!" she said to Artol cheerfully. "I don't think I've met you yet. Who are you?"

Neo ORB wrote:And with that message finished, Erde resumed walking towards her destination, as she walked the hall, she allowed her steps to make noise once more as she found her rhythmic steps comforting and rounded the corner, passing by where Reina had been hiding, Of course it wasn't like Erde could see Reina but as her rhythmic footsteps continued for a few seconds, but liek a beasts internal sense, Erde felt even still that something was...

There were only a few things which could break Reina's stealth without her wanting it to be. These mainly involved getting knocked unconscious in some manner, or being injured in some way. The method Erde discovered, was scaring Reina so badly she went almost completely feral for a moment, her ears standing on end, her tail shooting straight out, what fur she has on her ears and tail bristling, lips peeling back to reveal bared canines, and every instinct in her telling her to either tear out this predators throat before it could eat her, or get away as fast as possible. Unfortunately the sudden change also broke the background concentration she had on maintaining her stealth.
"I don't know everything, just the things I know"

Avena stopped in front of the door, her hand about to touch the doorknob. Jackson's words resonated throughout her mind. "...ensure we all live long and happy lives." His words echoed over and over again. Avena just smiled and laughed, turning her head to look at him. " Have you ever seen a huntsman grow old?" Avena said with a smirk and winked at Jackson. She heard a voice coming from her right side, a voice she knew all too well. She whirled around and spotted Heamet laying on a nearby bed. " Heamet!! You're here too? Whatcha do this time? Overexert yourself again?" Avena said with a sly smile as she put a hand on her hip. Avena wasn't one to talk, she does the same thing all the time.

Suddenly, the door to the infirmary opened, forcing Avena to move aside to let someone walk in. She saw a person, who's name escaped her, carrying an unconscious Yuki to an empty bed.

" What happened to her? Issheok?DidCarminadothis?" Avena said really fast as she ran to Yuki's side.
