The Grey Wolf wrote:Shiroi closed her eyes, realizing she was going to have to depend on her sense of smell and hearing. What did Reina have with her before the fight began? she asked herself, recollecting as hard as she could. The teacher's illusions might have surpassed her own, but they were still in fact illusions. As long as she kept in mind what was real and not real, the illusionist would be impotent. "Summon!" she shouted, more for dramatic effect than necessity. Four large black mastiffs appeared in front of her, teeth bared. She issued one order. "Find her." in the meantime she would listen and smell for Reina.
"Tsk tsk," Reina taunts. "To think you'd believe I'm so sloppy as to only conceal myself visually."
Her voice seems to come from everywhere and nowhere.
She steps directly next to one of the semi-real mastiffs and dispatches it with a shot to the head from one of her weapons. To anyone but Reina, it would appear as if the dog's head suddenly exploded without reason, as there is no sight or sound of a gunshot.
"I'm a trickster fox after all, like my ancestors before me."
As she walks around the area, taunting Shiroi, she sees Heamet approaching and frowns.
"It appears someone is coming to interfere with our contest. We may need to settle whatever grievance they are attempting to force before we can continue."
