Don't tell anyone I said that though." Ning said as he started off towards Vale. They walked down through Vale into a fair neighborhood, the houses where all a fair size, except one. On a large plot of land there sat a relatively larger house, nothing to big.

Ning stopped at the door to the house and took a breath, "Ok, a few things before we go in. You'll find that my uncle and cousins are rather unique with their greetings... so if you see me get mobbed, its perfectly normal." Ning said with a smile, "And most importantly... be yourself, we have a thing about people being fake. So, are you ready to meet the rest of the Kohkuhycumest family?"

"Um... right. I'll try to be," Togami paused, "real." How can a person be fake? He asked silently. In his mind's eye, he imagined Ning going for a handshake with himself, only to rip a hole in a canvas that presented a false impression of himself with its wide smile and twinkling eyes. Imagination's inspiration is always so realistic, is it not?

Neo ORB wrote:Yuki watched as her bag slid on the ice towards her and instinctively her left hand grabbed the strap and then felt the weight as it went into momentary free fall before tapping onto the ground at her new chair. As Yuki watched the thin ice that had covered the table rapidly melt into puddles she silently stared for a moment at the grumbling of the three about there "Soaked" books.
This is what she had meant with "maybe" but what was done was done as she silently watched Jackson curse and then walk away from the table to find replacement material. And for the hyperactive one, Yuki had silently enjoyed the little things of watching her reading material freeze to her face. Although when she then accidentally split the remains onto herself, Yuki simply reached into her bag and pulled a small ice blue towel out and silently held it out.

However as Yuki had held out the towel she quietly said towards the loud one in a monotone tone of voice.
"Well, at least you didn't call me a "witch", also not bad quip... cold shoulder I'll give you a point for that one...
However its not easy to live without an arm... would you like to try it, it a non dangerous sense of course... all we'll need is a bit of rope..."

Then for a moment Yuki paused flashing a small, rare and fleeting smile in which one could call the slightest movement of Yuki's lips when not intended, a smile.
However as Yuki stared at Avena, she spoke once more in her monotone.
"Or is it that you don't want to try walking a mile in my shoes? I mean only having a single arm is quite tiresome you know. you might even realize why I have such a "Cold" shoulder, although I guess in the end you'd still have it better then I did since my ability to have balance ended that day..."

Erde had been quiet, far too quiet as she had acted as Malidia Watraridge of course this was for good reason as Malidia Watraridge was her cover as an instructor in Mistral. Of course her goal in the academy wasn't just entirely to train them to fight grim as she hoped she might mind the unpolished gem that would be able to kill her one day... unfortunately her luck was the worst and no such individuals appeared.
However between the breaks when she would visit her "pet" Amnon, she would make her silent trips to vale to report to her master Cinder, or once and a while acted on behalf of her whims and silently eliminated a target that had been in her bingo book.
Of course she also had other reasons to travel vale as she would travel to her various hideaways to inspect their condition. Over the course of one such former trip, an idea hatched in her mind as she read the paper gathering small information and read a headline about a recent surge in comic printing.
As it happened Erde had at one point collected various fictions in her travels which now littered various hideaways in boxes gathering dust.

She had hoped that such "Material" would one day find value, and would sell it as a means to an end. However as she had read such a headline that fateful day, she found that various material within her possession were in fact becoming harder to come by. In following days she would scourer her hideouts gathering the boxes with the intent to sell them off since timing was efficient... however she ran into a problem...
She had no such connections in such a annoyingly fanatic world in which collectors roamed.

She then had an idea, after all who better to lead astray with the idea of whimsical pleasures then the immature and foolish. and if she could also recruit or brainwash them to her goal. Then it was killing two birds with a single stone, but in reality it was three birds since Erde wanted to gain a look upon the one known as Sirina Zezili and hear from Reina about any news.

Avena was busy trying to dry her skirt and didn't see Yuki walked up with a towel. She looked up and saw her standing there with an outstretched hand. " Oh thanks dude." Avena said with a smile as she grabbed the towel and began to dry herself. Avena chuckled as Yuki complimented on her joke. " Thanks again, I'm known for my jokes. Names Avena Sharpe, by the way, sniper exrodinaire." Avena said with a cheerful smile.

She continued to listen as Yuki explained why she was grumpy and that Avena should try walking in her shoes. " Sure dude, sound cool." Avena said naively, a stupid smile on her face. " We all have scars and it all depends on how we carry them. You really should try living positively. I do and I have no problems, but that's all up to you. By the way, how did you lose your arm?" Avena asked, once again showing her social graces.

Heamet had woken up long ago, and was now oscillating between two places.

The outside of the dorm building and his dorm room, basically being an observatory of sorts for his brother's shenanigans when he went to the city for seemingly no reason at all.
However, when he was outside, he took an impish pleasure in seeing Beacon's local princess getting toyed with when she learned that in this place, royalty meant nothing.
Truth be told, he kind of wanted to annoy her himself, but refrained from doing so as he thought she had already gotten pretty annoyed.
At most, he's start his show over her after she would come out of her room.

'I could go and toy around with Reina.
I'm so bored even this can seem nice to do.
There's literally nothing for me to step into, or stir up.
What a pain.'

Meanwhile, Aria was simply staring at the man pulling his hair in search of something to do.
In fact, she had nothing to do either.

Lucas grunted as he put the lifting bar back and sat up, noticeably sweatier than before, having spent the past hour sparring against dummies, rocks, and trees with weapon, working on his aura, and exercising and lifting weights.

He stood up and felt the coolness of the damp Vav Bro-tank he was wearing glanced back to see the weight he was lifting. "I've almost caught up to Nora's Max... but by the time I do will she have another huge gain?

Stumbling at the numbness in his arms and legs from his workouts, he unsteadily made his way out and grabbed the liter of water sitting next to it.
"A sound soul dwells within a sound mind and sound body... Does that mean I should study more? Get a tutor...yeah I'll get a tutor so I can figure out how to do some of this crap, How can I be a strong enough hunter if I can hardly pass my classes?"

He snatched up a towel and a stick of deodorant and cleaned himself up, leaving into the cool Vale air in shorts and a bro-tank he of course shivered slightly and his hairs stood up on his arms. He didn't notice it but he was getting plenty stares of awe of interest in the " viking boy" that could take on Cardin Winchester and was competing against Nora Valkyrie in strength, Nora of course being second to none.

"Isn't there a place we are going to this weekend? Eternal Trip? Long-Lasting Collapse? No no Forever Fall, yeah red leaves lots of Grimm...I wonder what the team is doing right now?"

He reentered his dorm as the sun began to set, he was the first to reenter the dorm for the night of team CMCL, he took advantage of this and got ready for bed before any of the others seized control of the bathroom.

Jackson Silver

"God fucking damn it," he cursed under his breath as he returned some of the books, perhaps way more than usual. "That bitch had to fricking ruin my day. Now how the hell am I going to answer to the librarian about this?"

After returning the books with the soaked pages, he pulled out three books from the shelf—namely one that was on the various kinds of tree where one can get sweet sap from, one that was about the literature of Mistral, and a comics magazine. He needed some form of entertainment in case he got bored from the studying.

As he was about to return to the table, he felt his ears twitch at the sound of footsteps creaking the wooden floor panels. Turning his head and upper body around slowly he saw a certain faunus with white cat ears that had a malicious smirk on her face. He could feel his bones chill a little—and that wasn't because of Yuki this time. "Who are you?" he turned his body around to face her.

Ning Kohkuhycumest

Ning nodded and reached for the door handle, It's been awhile.... Ok Ning, snap out of it, it hasn't even been a year. Don't be a fool, of course they miss you, and you miss them, but its not like you have been gone for decades, get a grip. Ning thought as he touched the brass handle. He opened the door quickly and stepped in. It was obvious he was on alert, carefully looking around and keeping his ears open, his body posture easily showed that. Strange.... doesn't appear as anyone's here... he thought as he relaxed slightly and waved Togami in.

The entrance room was fairly large, the ceiling was not complete so the supports could be seen. Two closets sat on either side of the door. In front of them was a hallway, and two more to the left and right. Ning took of his shoes and put them against the wall.

Then it came. Like a truck, bursting seemingly from out of nowhere, well from down the hallway in front of them. Ning turned to see it coming and smiled as the seemingly old man kicked him in the gut. The old man (imagine small antler stubs on his head) stood their, hands on his hips, as Ning fell backwards, a smile on his face.

"Too slow Ning." the old man said with a chuckle that was interrupted by Ning's foot hitting the man in the chest, causing him to stagger back.

"Maybe, but you really got to stop talking when fighting Uncle." Ning said back as he stood in his normal fighting stance smirking.

"Maybe your right...." Ning's Uncle said as he got back up, "Maybe you got to pay attention to your surroundings..."

Just then, from above another two figures jumped down from the rafters. Both where small and easily avoided by Ning who dodged out of the way of one and caught the other, throwing the other at the one that had already landed. The young boy flew through the air and landed on the young girl.

Ning looked at the two as they stood up, and smiled. They smiled back. Then both of the closets opened and two more people came out. They looked to be about Ning's age, or older. Again it was a female and a male. They rushed Ning as he turned to see them, the female jumped over Ning when she got close enough, grabbing his shoulder and throwing him to the ground and pinned him down. Meanwhile the male (again, imagine small antler stubs) stopped and smirked as he watched.

"Impressive." Ning said as he looked at the purple haired girl with a smirk, "But...." It happened fast, in a few quick movements Ning had her in an arm lock. He rose the arm slightly and she tapped the floor. Ning let go and got up as she backed off smirking. Then he came. The guy who was standing watching came straight at Ning.

The man's movements where erratic, he seemed to stumble as he approached. It was almost as if he was drunk. Then the fight began. Both Ning and the man seemed to be equally matched, Ning blocking the man's seemingly random and misleading attacks, and then delivering his own, which where also blocked. They both stepped back a good distance and looked at each other, neither could get a hit in. After a moment of extreme tension, they both smiled and hugged.

"Still can't beat me Ning? I would have thought that those folk at Beacon would be teaching you how to be a better fighter." The man said as they let go of each other.

"Oh, I could beat you. Just don't want to break you." Ning said back with a huge smile. Then one by one each of the attackers came and hugged Ning.

"What did I do wrong?" The purple haired girl asked.

"You where to far out on the right. Other than that, it was good." Ning said back.

"We almost got the drop on you this time." The young girl said as she approached Ning. She was much shorter than him. Ning hugged her back and smiled, "Almost being the key word."

Once all the hugging was done, Ning stepped back and looked to Togami.

"Togami. This is my family." He said with a smile, then pointed to them as he introduced them, "My uncle, Jung-Hee. Looks old, because he is, but he can still fight very effectively." He then pointed to the little girl, "My youngest cousin, Lilybet." Then his finger went to the blond boy, "Yoshi. He doesn't speak much, but he is a damn good writer." The finger kept traveling, stopping in the direction of the purple haired girl, "Dara. Not very good at fighting...."

Dara stared at him very angrily, "But very passionate, and does not give up." She then smiled.

Ning then looked at the final one, "And my greatest rival. The guy who was turned down by Sirina and then got his rear end served to him on a silver plater." He smirked when he saw the man go a little red, "Drefan. The master of the drunken fist."

Sirina Zezili

"I guess." Sirina said with a shrug, "About visiting your office... When? If you want I can come right now, or later. I don't really have anything to do at the moment." She then sighed, "Well... Nothing productive to be precise."

Like she had suddenly appeared from the shadows, Shiroi's entrance was sudden, unexpected, and unheard until she spoke, the only announcer to her presence. It was a disturbed, ghoulish look, as though she was deriving pleasure from someone's pain or discomfort.

"Perhaps we can give this young lady a demonstration?"

Togami stopped midway through the doorway when the Uncle rushed at Ning, serving the heir's teammate a solid kick to the gut. Togami started to come to his friend's aid, but stopped as Ning delivered a counter-blow within moments. Not bad... He can handle himself, I suppose. He took off his shoes, set them by the door, and watched as the fight continued with a whole clan of assailants coming from seemingly nowhere.

In particular, one combatant seemed to rival Ning blow-for-blow. Not long into the pair's grapple, each realized the frivolity in his sparring and embraced the other whole-heartedly. Jung-Hee. Lilybet. Yoshi. Dara. Togami made a note of their names and faces, going over the association a few times in his head to make sure he wouldn't forget.

Drefan. Ning finally introduced his last family member. So this is the one that has taken an interest in Sirina. Underwhelming, but he is as strong as Ning. Togami noted before smiling.

"Togami Murasaki, heir-" He tried to cut the epithet short. "Well... Hi. Nice to meet you all." His hand straightened his tie before reaching out to the nearest family member in formal greeting.

Aka stood in front of a pond. He was facing a rock, with a green little frog perched on it. His breathing is heavy. His hands poised like he was going to punch something.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Do it quicker.

His breathing pace started to pick up. His hands glowed slightly.

Inhale. Exhale. inhale. Exhale. Even quicker.

Now he was breathing really fast, like someone being chased by a pack of wild dogs. A small amount of electricity danced at his already-glowing fingertips.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Quicker!

As his breathing intensified, so does the arcing electricity on his fingers. He now breathes 20 times a second.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Now. Release!

"Uuuooooooh!", he shouted as he smashed his opened right palm to the rock, smashing the frog along with it. He made a wide, but shallow basin on the rock.

And strangely, even though the frog was smashed along the way, it didn't die, and just back to being perched right there, like nothing happened.

Aka observed the result of his own Ripple training. The wide, but shallow basin he made on the rock, was simply a fact he deducted to his Ripple power being "dispersed on impact, instead of focused on one spot". At this rate, he still have a long way to crush this rock.

"Damn", he muttered. "Maybe I should ask Leonard after all."

Rights to me? Nobody owns me. Except, you know, me. You don't own me! Oh, really? When we meet again, we'll test that theory, all right? That's 'if' we meet again. You know I'll never come back willingly. Oh, you will. Because you want to test your pathetic excuse for resolve and 'courage' by facing me. ...It's been a long time, hasn't it? I let you go. Why are you still chasing me? Because I do actually care about you. Oh, that's rich, coming from you! Well, go ahead! You're never taking me back! You'll never break me! I'm stronger than I was then, I'm not yours anymore, you don't own me! So get used to that fact! Nobody owns me! Nobody except me!

"I will be the lady and let you have the first strike." she smirked.

Ning Kohkuhycumest

"Murasaki eh?" The uncle said as he stroked his beard in thought, "Now.... Where do I recognize the name from? Um..... Oh well it'll come to me eventually." He ended with a smile as he grabbed Togami's hand and pulled him into a hug.

Ning chuckled as his uncle let go of Togami, "First time he met Sirina he did the same thing." Ning said as he looked at Togami.

"He knows Sirina as well?" Drefan said as he delivered a menacing stare to Togami, "You better not be...." His sentence was interrupted by someone pulling his arm back, and forcing him to the ground. Dara smiled as she held Drefan down.

"Don't mind him... He still thinks he has a chance with Sirina." Dara said with a smirk.

"Of course he does." Ning said with a chuckle.

"Anyway. Good to see that Ning is making friends and not just sitting around meditating all the time." Ning's uncle said, "How about we all sit down and talk."

With that Ning's uncle lead them into the living room. Bookshelves where on the walls, each shelf full with books and pictures from the past. The room had two large couches, each could sit there people. In the corner facing the couches was a leather chair. In front of the couches was a large coffee table. "Sit where you want." Ning's uncle said as he stood motioning to the room.

Ning sat down on one of the couches and was quickly joined by Lilybet and Yoshi. Drefan and Dara sat down on the other couch. They waited to see where Togami would sit.

"Who wants some tea?" Ning's uncle said with a smile trying to break the silence.

Sirina Zezili

Sirina nodded and backed up. Then she heard something in the shadows, well more like detected with sound waves. She could tell that the person in the darkness wasn't happy with what was going on. Things started getting tense, so much that Sirina used it as an excuse to move closer to the girl in the dark.

Once she got close enough, she spoke quietly, "Hello. It seems you are uncomfortable with this situation, maybe it would be best for your own health if you leave. Not that I am trying to force you to leave..." She said as she moved closer, "Names Sirina by the way."

"Charlotte," she responded, with an equal hush. She nodded slowly. "I suppose I should leave, but I feel like I have to stick around and see what happens... Both of them," she nodded towards Reina and Shiroi, "have some sort of vendetta against me, and they've both acted towards me in ways that I don't appreciate... to put it lightly. However, Reina has been acting differently as of late, as if she's struggling with herself--"Don't I know how that feels--"and if anything goes wrong and she looks like she's in any danger of being killed, I'll step in. Better that they clash with each other than come after me, and if only one of them can make it out of all this alive, I'd prefer it to be Reina. There's more of a chance that way..."

Togami strained under the force of the hug.

"Oh, well my father speculates in a fe-" It wasn't long after Ning divulged that Togami knew Sirina that Drefan became rapidly more aggressive to the heir. Togami's hand went to his axe-handle, but it wasn't long before Dara had subdued the drunken brute. Charming rabble, now isn't he?

The uncle motioned to the room, seemingly beset on all sides by bookshelves and couches- Ning and the children took one, while Dara and Drefan took the other. "Sit where you want." Ning's uncle said with a smooth gesturing motion. Is this a test? Is there a right answer? Well, Drefan is on one couch, which pretty much rules that one out. Ning is on the other, but is also in the company of... little ones. Which makes the leather chair enticing, but it seems like it's at the head of the table, so it must be the uncle's chair. And so, his decision was made. Togami sat on the couch with Ning and the smaller children.

"Oh, tea would be lovely. Thank you." Togami accepted the uncle's offer graciously.

Ning Kohkuhycumest

To make room for Togami on the couch, Lilybet crawled up on top of Ning's lap and sat there. Ning smiled as he shook his head which she responded back to with a smile. When Ning's uncle left the room, the room went silent.

"So. Togami, what sort of relationship do you have with Ning?" Dara broke the silence, "Also, has he gotten into any fights?"

Ning shook his head at the last question and chuckled slightly.

Sirina Zezili

"Umm ok." Sirina said quietly, "I hope Miss de Mazelle doesn't get hurt either. But this is not my fight, so as much as I'd love to rush in and help, I have to stay out. Heck my best friend would definitely make sure I didn't join even if it meant him getting hurt." She sighed, "Quick question, what's the colour of your hair?"

Well, that's... really random.

"...Red... why?"

Is there a point to that? I mean, she's blind apparently so maybe she just wants a mental image of me, but that seems really... random. I already thought that, didn't I? Great, now my brain's being redundant. ...Except it already does that. The joy.

Truth was, Leonard had been watching.
He felt like this one was the only one that actually believed what he was teaching.

It was true that the man had been out of the loop in the way that his teaching methods were awfully unconventional.
Both by being extremely violent and extremely understanding of his students.
As he saw the small bassin created by the young lad's Aura, Leonard came out of hiding and clapped.

"Nice nice! Very nice! I was wondering if you would take it seriously.
It would be an understatement if I said I was pleasantly surprised.
But you need to work on breathing a bit more.

"This is the best apple I've ever had! Where do you get these things?" He quickly began eating the apple until it was too the core, relishing in it's taste when suddenly a beeping from his scroll went off.

"Oh sorry," he said to Olive as he grabbed his scroll and checked what it said. Blood Test and After-School Workout,
"Damn I forgot about that, sorry Olive but I gotta go, I'll catch you later, okay? Bye." And dashed off not taking time to put his scroll back in his pocket.

He made his way back to the CMCL room, completely unaware of the events that had transpired mere moments ago to get his blood tester. This pocket-sized device was something Lucas hardly ever used but was sure to do it atleast every other month as of late in order to insure his blood/dust ratio didn't get out of hand.

Going right two of his teammates he jabbed the small device into his index finger and waited for a reading, this one device was customized to suit Lucas' special needs, probably the only worthwhile gift his mom ever gave him since he ran away. Three beeps signaled his test was over and it read out; Dust-Blood concentration at Normal Status, Warning, Blood Anomalies present, Maintenance and Re-Weaving suggested. Quickly Lucas hid the device and thought to himself with a grimace on his face, "I knew I hadn't done it right."

Remembering where he was he smiled and scratched the back of his head, "Welp, I'm heading off to do some workouts and training, Let me know if you need me for anything." And waved as he left to a training room.

Olive followed the boy, seemingly intentionally. Though she would never admit it, she also wanted to train and she had literally no idea where to go to do said training. Of course, this implies that she is clueless. Which, to a certain degree is true. However, she would again, never admit that she didn't know where it was in front of a non-slummer.

No way in hell they'd get to act all high and mighty because of her.

She nodded towards Lucas as they left the dorm, heading towards the cafeteria to get some well needed food.

Chess followed her significant other dutifully, almost as if she was some kind of dog faunus instead of a cat. Eventually, the pair made their way through Beacon's winding corridors and made it to the Cafeteria. Quickly, Chess... negotiated, with a pair of students, procuring their seating. Sitting Mint down, Chess tiredly (and hungrily) made her way over to the fish section of the hall, procuring too plates of a warm, baked ocean fish, and returned to the seat. One eyebrow arched up as she sat down. "So, shall I start?"

This post was brought to you by Icrum and Storm

Middle of the night

The warehouse wasn't the best place to be if you hated the cold—especially if you came at night—but that's exactly what Adam was doing. He was summoned to this warehouse by his boss, a clever woman who sought to change how things worked in Remnant. As Adam walked through the warehouse, he saw many White Fang members doing whatever tasks they were doing. Adam scoffed, whilst being a Faunus, he detested the White Fang as he felt they were too brutish and aggressive. He preferred more calm and calculating lackeys, like assassins who killed quietly and discreetly. Adam moved forward through the warehouse until he reached his boss.

Cinder Fall was the one accompanied by her two apprentices, Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai. Cinder wore a red dress and black high-heels, and Dust crystals dangling off the top of her glass shoes. Her wavy black hair covered her left eye—which served to aid the mysterious appearance about her. In all honesty, she seemed more intimidating to Adam than the punk and the ruffian.

"You wanted to see me Cinder? Because I don't want to see you right now. You interrupted me in the middle of a teacher conference, and I was almost found out! Listen, I want to help you, but you can't let me be arrested or killed like that, especially considering on who my lackey is." Adam said, flustered. He was referring to the bounty hunter that worked for him, Yamako Oshita—or Void if you were the police. Yamako was a amazing sniper, who had dispatched many people who Cinder found to be interfering with her plans.

"So, what do you need this time? Another bounty?" Adam asked, folding his arms.

She stood up, graceful as ever. "Ah yes," her alluring voice came out of her mouth. "In a few months my apprentices and I will be infiltrating Beacon Academy in order to carry out the second phase of our plan. However, I do have a list of students that may prove to be a hindrance." Swiping her list down on her scroll she continued, "Especially this student."

Adam looked at the list, and the specified student and scoffed again. He chuckled to himself, he knew this student, and killing him wouldn't be awful at all. In fact, Adam might even throw a party when Void killed him. Togami Murasaki—the arrogant rich kid. Adam hated him with a fiery passion, and so did most people that came to know him.

"This kid?"

"Yes," Cinder replied. "I'm sure you have met him once or twice before."

"I'd sent Yamako after him sooner had you said so," he remarked. "I bloody hate that kid, like most of the kids there, but with him it's even worse. That fucker is a nuisance. Now, on the matter of pay, I'd do it for free, but Yamako doesn't like that idea, so how much are you willing to pay?" Adam asked, handing the scroll back.

"Then I don't need to explain my reason for eliminating him, do I?" she smirked. "Since you have your own."
Nodding her head at Emerald, she let her lackeys step forward with two coal-colored briefcases. The dark-skinned girl was the first to open her briefcase, which contained several cards of Lien in varying denominations. Mercury's case was full of Dust crystals of different colors—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet were some of them. She could tell that Adam was pleased, even though his face didn't show it.

"Also, I saw you have Aiden on your list. As much as I dislike him for his never-ending compassion and enthusiasm, he's not that much of a problem is he?" Adam also asked, pulling out his scroll to contact Yamako about the new job.

"No. But I want you to keep an eye out for him, understood?"

"Yeah, but still. I just want to know why. What is it about him that warrants him being on the list more so than, say, Ulfric Orcson?" Adam asked. He quickly called Yamako and put on a voice-distorting device.

"Yeah, what is it? It's the middle of the morning, and you just woke me up." Yamako said brashly, obviously tired.

"New job, lot's of pay. You mission is to kill Togami Murasaki, and you'll be paid quite handsomely for it. Mission starts at 9 AM, so don't sleep in." Adam said before hanging up. He looked back to Cinder.

"So, about Aiden, why him?"

She didn't answer—in fact she had no intention of answering him. It was none of his business to know why this and that were on her hit list. "I do not wish to reveal it to you until the time is right," she assured him. "For now you should have some faith."

"Faith is a rare commodity," Adam slipped his hands into his pockets, "and I'm all out of it. Maybe when I get a smidgen of an answer it'll be restocked. Until then however, I'm afraid I don't have any." He pulled out a piece of paper and opened it. He stared at it, then back at Cinder.

"I also saw that Leika is on that list as well. You do realize that Yamako refuses to kill her right? She doesn't care that Togami, or Aiden, or Adelaide, and all the rest of them are on. But Leika is a no go. And even I think that Leika wouldn't be a problem to anyone period. She's to busy taking care of her pet Ursa Squeaks or helping some kid with personal problems. Even a slug is more dangerous than Leika." Adam said, putting the 'No-Kill' list of Yamako's back in his pocket.

Cinder responded, "Do not underestimate her, Adam. I have seen people fall victim to people who they thought were good-natured and innocent."

Perhaps that was enough for one night. With her lackeys in tow, Cinder began to exit the building. Pausing for a while she said, "I will need you personally in the future when the opportunity is right. For now you should lay low. After all, no one wants to find out where your true loyalties lie now, do they?" With that she left the building.

As Cinder and company left the building, Adam sighed. He knew that if he was caught, it'd spell the end for him, and he wasn't ready to be revealed just yet.

9:00 AM

The grass was still wet with dew and the air was still fresh and crisp. Usually, most people would enjoy it while getting ready for the morning. Except Yamako. She was to busy hunting down this one kid at Beacon that she couldn't care if some divine being came down from the heavens and gave everyone eternal joy and world peace. She just wanted her pay.

"Bloody hell, who asks for a bounty to be carried out in the morning? Some sadistic bastard most likely. Alright, how could I go about this mission? I could sneak in, wait for him to get separated then stab him. Or I could wait for him to get to an open area and dispatch him from here. What should I do?" Yamako contemplated. She was currently looking through her scope at Beacon, trying to find the little bastard but was coming up empty-handed.

"No way am I not going to get paid because I couldn't find some self-righteous rich kid. You know what, I'm going in." Yamako determined, collapsing her sniper rifle for ease of carry. With a deep breath, she cloaked herself with her semblance and moved towards Beacon, unseen by anyone. She reached the front door, and waited for someone to pass through. When someone did, she slipped through. Her breath was starting to become faster and faster as she was slowly fatiguing from staying in her semblance for to long. She manuevered herself to the bathroom and ran inside of it, locking her self in one of the stalls. She uncloaked and started panting. She was breathing really deeply when she heard the door open. She silenced herself and stepped out of the stall, running into a woman with flame red hair.

"Oh, you startled me. Hey, I haven't seen you around Beacon before, who are you?" The woman asked. Yamako was nervous, if she revealed her real name, there might be problems. So she crafted a lie.

"My name is Meiko Yatsushiba. I'm visiting from Signal academy, because I really want to come here after Signal." Yamako said, thanking herself for her naturally small size of about 5 feet and 3 inches. Meanwhile the red-haired woman looked to be about 5 foot 8 inches to Yamako's estimations. The red-haired woman just looked at her, then smiled.

"Well, I welcome you here! Hope you find this place as good as you wish it to be. Oh, my name is Victoria Schenberg, I'm a teacher here." Victoria said.

Well that explains her size. Anyways, I'm going to head out now before she suspects anything. Yamko thought as she turned around and headed out the door. She breathed a sigh of relief. She managed to avoid having to explain herself anymore to Victoria. And she was in Beacon.

Now to find this Togami kid I have to kill. Yamako thought, heading through the halls to find him.

Hearing Leonard's voice out of nowhere really brought him out of his training trance. He looked around to find him standing near a spot that could be a good hiding spot.

D-Did he watched me all this this time?, he thought, slightly embarassed.

"T-thanks.", he said.

Focusing on working on my breathing more, huh? Yeah, maybe that's it. My blood flow's also been slightly disturbed, cause I just had a case of anaemia before. Maybe I should breathe faster than that, so the blood flow can increase, and increase my Ripple potential.

He mulled over his thought silently for a minute, before "Okay. I'll try it."

He went back to the 'pose', one arm poised high with a balled fist, knuckles facing down.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Do it quicker.

He now breathes... maybe 21 times a second. His heartbeat rate also picked up. The electricity dancing between his fingers.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Now. Release!

"OOORRRAAAAAAAHHH!"

Along with the scream, he released a Ripple enhanced punch at the same rock, punching the still perched frog along the way.

No difference.

The basin got a little deeper and wider, but that's that. He was aiming to break this rock in one punch. But he can't

And there's something nagging on his mind.

"Leonard?", he called. "Why is my little friend frog here behaves like there's nothing happened even though I just punched a Ripple blow through him?"

What did Reina have with her before the fight began? she asked herself, recollecting as hard as she could. The teacher's illusions might have surpassed her own, but they were still in fact illusions. As long as she kept in mind what was real and not real, the illusionist would be impotent. "Summon!" she shouted, more for dramatic effect than necessity. Four large black mastiffs appeared in front of her, teeth bared. She issued one order. "Find her." in the meantime she would listen and smell for Reina.

When Artol's target came back from the city, he saw the damage they had sustained.
They weren't in danger of death, but a lot of mechanical parts were showing, including the modified arm's circuits, before they made they tied the foulard that was preciously around their neck to hide the circuits and various weapons within the arm.
If one could've looked at it properly, they could've seen two things mainly.
Two weapons, one seemingly for CQC and the other for long distance attacks, seemingly based upon Artol's research.

'Why is it that he has such a thing... I didn't create any artificial limbs to my knowledge.
And it is nigh impossible that they would even know of it since I started working on it after their disappearance...
Could it be I wasn't the first one to think of it?
The cooling system can't be this small... It's impossible.
Even I couldn't reduce it to that point.
I saw them shoot, there is no doubt that someone somehow knows about my research.
Possibly Leonard.
I'll have to check with him, even though it doesn't make any sense.
Maybe the owl, maybe he came up with it as well. I know he's the theoretical genius while the girl is a practical genius.
I should ask the two of them.'

However, his target didn't stop walking.
They passed Heamet without him noticing the presence and barred themselves into their dorm room to heal up.

On the other hand, Heamet was feeling particularly sarcastic today.
And so he advanced to annoy someone, that someone originally was Yuki, but when he looked around and saw Reina, he saw a possibility.
