There was sweat all over her body, some parts stickier than they've ever been. She tasted something in her mouth she'd never savored before.

Through heavy breaths she looked to her side, finding a peaceful and rather happy looking Chess. Looking down, her sleeveless shirt and uniform were cast aside, only leaving her pulled up undergarments revealing her...

Her nose twitched, and she pulled the fake glasses off her face, oddly not having come off after all that. She was confused, unable to make any logic from it all.

But, as she listened to the faint snoring and mumbles of the person in the back of her mind, she came to a single conclusion, which she decided was for the best as she too fell asleep.

"I enjoyed that..."

"Yeah, that was..." Chess said, her ears twitching as she rolled over to face her partner, her jet black feline additions twitching playfully. "...definitely fun. I'll have to remember to do it again sometime." She continued, wrapping her arms around Mentari. "I know this is odd, but do you want to get something to eat? I should probably explain some stuff to you." Chess' stomach growled. "Besides, I'm starved." She finished, a sweet grin playing on her lips.

"Hmm... Food would be nice..."

For whatever reasons she couldn't understand, Mentari giggled, hugging Chess as well and pulling her closer so she could rub her cheek against hers. It was a warm feeling, like when you made a gadget you would cherish forever. A hint of jealousy towards Purnama began to brew, that Mentari didn't get to taste the faunus firsthand.

A grumble coming from Mentari's belly broke the moment, and she lightly let go. "Food would be reaaally good right now."

Artol had finally gotten closer to his target again, he had to remind himself not to be seen by him in any way.
Then again, being discreet was always something that was almost natural for him, but he still felt like he needed Vehlto to function as an assassin in a proper way.
Just thinking about it made him flashback to the time where they were both on the same team.

"The absolute attack huh." Artol inquired to the person in front of him.

His teammate had caramel brown and rather long hair, most of it being held by a braid resting on the left side of their shoulder, a scar from long past battles rested on their cheek.
They wore a purple jacket, a light green shirt with a red cloth around the neck.
One thing the both of them had in common was heterochromia, red and turquoise for Artol, green and brown for his teammate.
A nigh permanent scowl greeted most people when they spoke to anyone, anyone except Artol.
For the time they had been at the academy, the only person they had been going along with was Artol, the two of them were often considered as a couple, however it was a true mystery as to what gender that person was.
Their name, Vehlto, gave them away as a man, and their way of acting was oddly fitting as well, but for the people that had somehow gotten close to them, they seemed like an ordinary bubbly girl.
And only Artol had the key to the mystery.
Truth be told, he didn't care at all.

"Kinda fitting for you." Vehlto answered with a smile.
"After all, you're the one attacking all the time without thinking while I handle the defense side of things with Rho Aias.
If you're the absolute attack, then I am the absolute defense, we make the perfect duo!
Seems like even after graduating, I'll still have to protect your ass. I don't even mind." They continued with a slight red coming to their cheeks, whether it was from embarrassment or from happiness, only Artol knew the answer.

Artol shrugged.

"As I said before dozens of times, I don't mind it either if you distance yourself.
I don't necessarily like the fact that you're always the one getting hit, even if it is actually your shield that is suffering most of the damage.
Plus, I don't even know how I'm supposed to feel when you actually get hit.
You wouldn't have gotten that scar had I been there sooner."

Vehlto then took the man's face into their hands.

"Don't.
I got that scar because I cannot attack, my semblance keeps me from having any attack potential, even my original weapons are off the table.
I just cannot attack, that is why I need you, I need you to keep me alive, and you need me to keep you alive.
Plus, it's not like I could leave a child like you in the wilderness, it'd weigh on my conscience.
So let's keep being together." They smiled, like a mother to her ruthless son.

The part about her semblance keeping her from having any attack potential was actually a huge misunderstanding on her part.
Artol had it figured out a long time ago, but wasn't actually sure what transpired from it.
Vehlto's semblance is "Concept", Rho Aias for instance or her signature circles of silence came from her mind coming up with 'concepts', however, should she handle a certain thing for a long enough time, the item would simply become conceptual, only to be used with her semblance.
Rho Aias for instance was a shield she had read about in a book from Leonard's collection then took it upon herself to make it a reality.
However, given the fact that she doesn't even know how to use her semblance apart from the circle of silence and Rho Aias, it knocked down most of her attack prowess.

Artol sighed in response.
"Only a girl like you could like a person like me.
Although I don't necessarily hate it." He did his signature cat like smile and drew her closer to him in a warm embrace.

He shook his head at the memory, he didn't feel complete without them, but there was no point in dwelling over it all.
If she was alive, she would come back.
Although whether she would come back seeing Artol as what he was before was unlikely.

Artol's target had now left the academy, not sleeping, simply leaving for the city, seemingly to attend some business Artol himself didn't know about.
They didn't seem to talk about it, although they came back very battered almost every time.

Chess stared at Mint in a bit of awe. "Yeah, sounds like." She said, sitting up and beginning to don her clothing again, which laid strewn about the CMCL dorm. Within moments, she was fully dressed once more, with the slight exception of the tie, which was visibly wrinkled. With a click of the tongue, and a straightening of the tie, she walked over to the door, turning towards her partner. "Ready?"

Olive stared blankly at the boy. "No, it was fine." She continued, wiping the tears off her cheeks and pulling her arm out of the wall, which responded with the clatter of rubble and detritus. "I was not expecting it to be that cold, however." She said once more, in her overly-polite tone.

Frost just gave a tired stare back to the girl who had questioned him. "No, it's just that apparently the school's pervert-chieftain looks exactly like me. As such, I've become a getaway vehicle. Much to my dismay, I assure you." He said, ending with a dejected sigh. "This' been happening at least twice a week or so since they found out about me." He placed a palm on his face and swiped off some of the water, his eyes looking very, very annoyed as his he only shook more water onto his face.

Hallway

Well that was unfortunate for the doppleganger. The redhead didn't want to see him get colds, so she did what she had to do. "Come on," Carmina offered to help Frost back to his dorm room. "Let's get you dried up." Turning her head around she said, "Jackson, Avena, Leif, you guys can go on ahead to the library, I'll catch up later."

Jackson pulled his hand out of his pocket and waved. "Oh, sure. Don't take too long."

Library

The library of Beacon was what would be perhaps the quietest place in the school—a place for the Huntsmen and Huntresses in training to enrich themselves with knowledge—or at least grow sleepy trying. The only sound that was constant was the clipping of footsteps on the polished wooden floor and the turning of pages. There was also the occasional shushing of the librarian whenever someone grew too loud, or the creaking of the wooden panels. There was sunlight coming from the windows, illuminating the aisles between the bookshelves and enhancing the rich and dominant brown color of the spacious room.

Coming across a shelf full of books about combat and fighting styles, Jackson, Avena and Leif took whatever books interested them. Jackson in particular pulled out a book that provided tips on how to wield bats as weapons more effectively—perfect for his preferred fighting style. Leif on the other hand strayed into another aisle, searching for some kind of recipe book for pastries and desserts. Once they had all the books they needed, they searched for a table to sit in. There were lots of them that had more or less free space, but then there were some people who had occupied a particular side of it.

Finally! A table that was 100% unoccupied by anyone. It was also at a well-lit spot too, thanks to the natural light falling on it. Guess this was it. Jackson, Avena and Leif placed their books on the table and sat in whatever seat they can rest their butts on. Reading time for JACL starts now.

Lucas laughed at that, "I guess it was pretty cold wasn't it." At that he took bite of the red apple Olive had given him and was taken aback.
"This is the best apple I've ever had! Where do you get these things?" He quickly began eating the apple until it was too the core, relishing in it's taste when suddenly a beeping from his scroll went off.

"Oh sorry," he said to Olive as he grabbed his scroll and checked what it said. Blood Test and After-School Workout,
"Damn I forgot about that, sorry Olive but I gotta go, I'll catch you later, okay? Bye." And dashed off not taking time to put his scroll back in his pocket.

He made his way back to the CMCL room, completely unaware of the events that had transpired mere moments ago to get his blood tester. This pocket-sized device was something Lucas hardly ever used but was sure to do it atleast every other month as of late in order to insure his blood/dust ratio didn't get out of hand.

Going right two of his teammates he jabbed the small device into his index finger and waited for a reading, this one device was customized to suit Lucas' special needs, probably the only worthwhile gift his mom ever gave him since he ran away. Three beeps signaled his test was over and it read out; Dust-Blood concentration at Normal Status, Warning, Blood Anomalies present, Maintenance and Re-Weaving suggested. Quickly Lucas hid the device and thought to himself with a grimace on his face, "I knew I hadn't done it right."

Remembering where he was he smiled and scratched the back of his head, "Welp, I'm heading off to do some workouts and training, Let me know if you need me for anything." And waved as he left to a training room.

She nodded towards Lucas as they left the dorm, heading towards the cafeteria to get some well needed food.

Yuki watched as the scene ended catching a few quips about a doppelganger?
Although since she relatively held no interest into why such things were happening around her she quickly turned away from the scene before her and went back to walking the library's isles searching for the next piece of her "course material" to improve upon when it came to grim.
After several minutes she found her next book and with further difficulty once more pried the book from the shelf and tucked it under her arm cradling it close to her body and made way back to the table she was sitting it.

As she exited on of the further isles from where her book came from she quickly found her table, that table which had been vacated once she had sat down was now occupied. As Yuki stopped for a moment as she processed the new information and then moved into action as she stared with empty eyes at the table she had been sitting at now occupied by other students.
She had sat there earlier when the table was a little more cool but when time passed it became a relatively nice hot spot with the natural light falling upon it. As she stared lightly dejected she then carefully she readjusted her book sliding it a little further up her arm and then stared at the end of the table activating her semblance.

Quickly all the air pressure in the room rapidly fell as if the AC rapidly turned on as the sensors had suddenly red the room falling into near arctic levels. However for youki who slightly glowed like snow as her aura encased her, at the end of the sunny table a block of ice rapidly formed and then was altered and shifting until in its place an elegant chair stood from pure ice. As Yuki cut off her semblance she silently moved towards what would be now quite the now chilly table with its atmosphere and silently took her created seat and placed her book down and stared with empty eyes for a moment at the other three beings who had taken her beloved place from her and then went to reading the book she brought as she flipped its cover with her left hand.

Team JACL

As the group was beginning to brush up on their books, flipping pages as they skimmed through it, there was a slight feeling of cold air that rushed in. A breeze also seemed to blow at their direction—not the pleasant kind of breeze one would expect out of summer. Leif was the first one to notice it. His body shivered and the hairs on his arms stood. "Brrrr," he let go of his book and began to rub his forearms with his hands. "Is it me or did the library turn the AC too cold?"

"Huh?" Jackson looked up from his book and placed it back on the table. Turning his head he asked, "Did you say something?"

Steam was coming out of his mouth for some reason as he spoke. This is weird… It's not even winter yet and vapor was coming out of his mouth. Eh, must be a cold spell at Vale, he guessed.

All of a sudden the table where they were sitting in began to grow colder and colder, as if it was like winter time in Atlas. The temperature kept on dropping until steam seeped out of Leif's nose at every breath. He was getting more and more scared—what was going on? The table was beginning to be coated in a sheet of crystalline ice, and it seemed that it was going to cover them too. Leif tugged on Jackson's sleeve as he pointed at the advancing ice sheet. "Uhmmmm, J-J-Jackson?" his speech began to stutter due to the cold.

"What?" he asked. Finally his attention was directed at the part of the table where Leif's index finger was pointed at. Jackson looked petrified as the ice came closer and closer—as if he had been already frozen before the ice even touched him—but then fixed his gaze at the other end of the table. Oh, it's Yuki, the other ice queen in the school. Seriously, what was this girl's deal? Calling out to the girl Jackson said, "Hey, mind turning down the AC a little there, white witch? It's not a fricking scorcher."

Yuki had quickly begun to read her book but due to the nature of her created seat, she kept the atmosphere around it at a far cooler temperature, generally in her case which was beyond sub-zero temperatures which were useful in sapping the energy out of her prey until nothing was left. But as the three intruders continued to make noise without realizing their crime. Yuki slowly rose her head away from the pages of her book and ever so lightly tilted her expressionless face as if clueless and stared with the vacant purple expanse which could be called her eyes and gave them empty attention.

She looked at the three who had rudely intruded upon her table, and watched without a word at the three and the steam which escaped with each breath.
She had heard the one called Jackson, heard his request of turning down the AC. So in response Yuki rose her hand and ever so lightly pointed at Jackson and then moved her index finger towards the floor to direct his attention to look under the seat where her book bag rested, the same one which also held all her single minded notes fixated on the deliverance of vengeance upon the Grim.

However as she stared, finished with pointing towards her hidden bag she then lightly spoke, her voice light and yet as chilly as the arctic winds.

"When asking a "Witch" for something, one should give something first... or is it that you were so happy to find a "free" table, that you forgot to check if it was in prior use... Give me back my things, and you will have back your heat... maybe."

As Yuki continued to look at the three, in the expanse of her empty eyes one could feel a warm, and yet cold smile shown. And yet her empty face held nothing but a cruel frozen mask. But then with a small smile unable to be shown Yuki lightly closed her eyes and released the atoms that she held and let the natural order of energy rebound to let the heat slowly swarm back in... of course this meant her chair would melt... but until it shattered Yuki silently then refocused onto her book and flipped the pages once again at a fast pace however as she read she quietly muttered towards Jackson her final psychological punch to his gut.

"Next time be aware of things that might be hidden... if you don't it might just cost you... everything..."

Jackson looked at what was under the seat, and saw that there were already things that were there. There was a school bag filled with books and some notebooks, and maybe some pieces of paper. Leif also looked in that direction, and was confused at the tension that was growing between Yuki and Jackson. Of course, Jackson wasn't really convinced that this whole table that can seat up to eight people is all hers, so he looked back up at her and replied, "So?"

He was met by a very sinister glare from the ice witch—a glare that even sent chills down Leif's spine. Literally. "When asking a 'witch' for something," she went off with a quiet but blunt tone, "one should give something first—or is it that you were so happy to find a 'free' table, that you forgot to check if it was in prior use. Give me back my things, and you will have back your heat… Maybe."

"Ummm, should we?" Leif tugged on Jackson by the arm again. "I-I mean," he muttered, "I like winter and all that, but I don't wanna be frozen tuna for the Grimm."

Jackson looked back into her eyes and made a little smirk. "Well why didn't you say that to begin with?" Before Yuki could melt things, the faunus placed her bag on the table and pushed it so it slid to the other side.

"Next time be aware of things that might be hidden," Yuki again glared at him. "If you don't it might just cost you, everything."

The air around the table began to slowly warm back up until the temperature was the same as the rest of the library. Thank goodness this table wasn't going to be a mini-Mantle for Jackson, Leif and Avena. There was one major drawback though as Yuki reverted everything to normal. Puddles of water remained on the table, and some of them were beginning to wet some of the books JACL had. In fact, what Jackson was currently reading got wet as well—having got some water at the top of the book. "Fuck," he muttered to himself. Now because of Yuki, how was he going to answer the librarian if she came across their table and saw that the books were wet?

Getting up from his chair, he closed his book and picked up a couple of others. "I'm gonna find more to read," he muttered with an annoyed tone under his breath. Leif just remained in his chair and flicked the puddle off his side of the table until it was dry enough for him to place his arms on. He was just getting into how to make a scrumptious dish of eclairs.

Jackson went back to the section of the library where he had found those combat books. Finding where gaps in the bookshelves were, he returned the books there and pulled out some others in their place.

The library was possibly the worst place in existence according to Avena. To her, books were boring and offered little to the imagination. She understood that books and libraries are meant to educate people, but she could never get into reading. The only reading Avena does involves risqué comic books. In an attempt to follow her team's example, Avena browsed the most interesting section she could find, the military history section. The pink-haired girl wondered each isle, trying to find a book that seemed moderately interesting. Avena picked up a book about the Great War off the shelf and flipped through it. As expected, it was mostly filled front to back with words, with a few black and white pictures and maps. " Sigh...I guess this will do. Man, I hope my great grandpa had more fun in the actual war than this book leads on." Avena muttered to herself before returning to her seat.

Avena took a seat next to Jackson and flipped open her book. The first chapter in the book discussed events leading up to the War, such as one kingdom's oppression over individualism and the reasoning behind it. As expected, Avena found the book entirely boring. As she continued to read, rather unenthusiastically, the girl began to doze off. Slipping into slumber fast, Avena flopped on top of her book and was out like a light. She immediately began snoring loudly and drooling all over the book, soaking the pages entirely. Unknown to her, Jackson and Leif began to complain about how cold it was getting. She didn't feel anything until the table started to ice over.

" Ah! BattleofMistral!!" Avena yelled as she was startled out of her sleep. The book that she using as a pillow was now stuck to her face, her own saliva had frozen over. She immediately realized how cold it was and began shivering. Avena noticed the book was stuck to her face and tried to pry it off. Noticing that it wasn't going to budge easily, she used all of her strength and ripped the frozen book from her face. " Ahhh..." Avena grunted in pain as she clutched her face. She watched as Jackson began arguing with the mastermind behind the flash freeze, Yuki. Avena was put off by Yuki's sour attitude and wanted to know why. " I though Winter was suppose to be fun and joyful? Hey Jacqueline Frost, What's with the cold shoulder?" Avena said with a smirk. She was proud of that joke. Yuki proceeded to tell them that they took her table and that her bags was under their seats. Avena bent down under the table and saw a bag and papers hat didn't belong to them. " Oh man, sorry dude." Avena said with a smile. Once the bags were returned to Yuki, the air began to warm up and everything thawed out. Unknown to Avena, there was a puddle of water at the edge of the table where she sat. She accidently moved her arm and brushed the water right onto her lap, soaking her skirt. " Damnit!!! Now I look like I pissed myself." Avena said angrily.

Anastasia Valenhart

A little vein popped out, signaling Anastasia's frustration with this peon. Then, to go as far as to mock the princess? Absurd. Absolutely uncalled for in this circumstance, when Anastasia was merely giving an opportunity for the peasantry to improve on their situation that seemed to be troubling them so.

"I'll ask again. Please tone down that ego. I can't stand people who think they are above others." Anastasia nearly gasped at hearing those words. Ego? She was royalty, and as such she was entitled to respect and devotion. If others chose to ignore her status, then it was their own fault for being as barbaric as those who ousted her family from power.

"If you really want to know what's bothering me... well... it's just.... nevermind, not like you can help with other people." Anastasia was content upon hearing this. She didn't want to associate with some filthy pleb anyways, and she should of known better than to initiate in some meaningless conversation with an uneducated failure of a huntress.

"You may not be able to stand people who think they are above others, but I can't stand people who don't recognize their insignificance in the face of their betters. I am by, far the most important person in this school, and I won't stand here and be lectured by some barbarian who is out trying to play huntress." Anastasia spat with as much venom as she could muster.

"Your refusal to accept my generosity is a slight towards me and my family. I will not forget this indignity." The princess finished and held her chin up high as she walked away from the girl.

"Ah, excuse me," Charlotte said in her sweetest and politest tone... the one that she used only when she was feeling her deadliest. Having become bored, she had begun to wander, and come across this unpleasant person...

The most important person in this school?

Might be a chance to improve my self-esteem. Oum only knows I need it.

"Would you mind explaining why, exactly, you're the most important individual in this institution? Because... I have not a clue who you are... Do, kindly, elaborate so that my ignorance can be quelled and my curiosity satiated."

Do, kindly, elaborate so that my ignorance can be quelled and my curiosity satiated." Anastasia turned to find someone else approaching her, and apparently they were intent on making conversation. After her little spat with the previous student, the royal wanted to retreat to her teams room and drink tea. Perhaps contact her father on his current state of affairs.

"Other than simply my superior looks? I am the eldest child to Frederick Valenhart, the rightful King Of Vale. By succession, I am to be the rightful Queen of Vale next." She explained. She obviously didn't go into detail about how actions taken by the council have reduced it to little more than simply a title.

"As such, it is only right that I receive the respect that my station demands, but others see fit to disrespect it. No doubt the only people in power they care for are those filthy Schnee's. You, being the peasant you are like most of this academies population, should be honored to be graced with my presence." Anastasia looked her inquirer up and down before deciding to proposition them with something that others should be killing for.

"However, you seem to be more civil than most of the rabble in this institution. If you'd like, you may take up the esteemed duty of becoming my companion and escort for now. Making sure the plebians don't stray to close to me and whatnot." Anastasia idly propositioned. No doubt this girl would accept, after all, almost everyone would want nothing more than to gain the favor of the Valenhart family.

After calming herself from her previous outburst, Reina took notice of Sirina, the girl she had convinced to support her cause, being accosted by some stuck up twit who had been giving a speech about her superiority. The female in question had walked off, but was now being confronted by one Charlotte Noble. So as it was, Reina decided to approach her erstwhile ally and inquire as to what had just happened.

She summed up her question with a single statement. "Who shoved a stick up her ass?"
"I don't know everything, just the things I know"

Sirina Zezili

Sirina sat there and listened to Anastasia speak to this other girl. She heard everything and couldn't help but smirk. Such a big ego.... She doesn't even realize she has one. That's a shame. To big of a head to notice that you have a big head. And she complains that the Schnee's a little to much. She doesn't realize that the Schnee girl that goes here doesn't have as big of an ego as her. This is enjoyable to say the least. she thought to herself as she picked up a stone, Should I? If she suspects it was me, I can just pull the blind card and say I didn't throw it. She doesn't know my semblance so it should work.

With that, Sirina threw the small stone at Anastasia, without turning to face her no less. Her semblance allowed her to easily target the bug headed princess, as if that head was impossible to miss. It was then that she heard a more friendly sound. She looked to the source, "Miss de Mazelle.... I think that may of been me... She offered help, but I didn't like her attitude, so I asked her to go easier on the ego, which she seemed to deny having... And then it snowballed, and I may have made my first enemy at this school." She ended with a smile.

Ning Kohkuhycumest

"Honestly. I thought that I might go to my uncle's to train a bit. Seeing as I haven't seen him or my cousins since I left for Beacon." Ning said with his eyes closed, then opening them he looked at Togami, "Do you want to come?"

Reina scowled. From what she was hearing, this girl had the kind of attitude which was extremely deserving of being cut down to size. Still, when she saw Sirina toss the rock at the girl, Reina couldn't help but grin slightly.

From throwing rocks to setting off bombs... Just push her along a step at a time...

"I would help, but I'm probably the worst teacher possible for this sort of thing... Unless you want her to end up in the infirmary."

Anastasia responded to Charlotte's agreement without much enthusiasm, but gave a nonchalant nod at her warning. Her shadow? Ooooh spooky. Anastasia could of cared less, but nonetheless turned to continue on her way. She waved for Charlotte to follow, but grasped for the back of her head when a small stone made contact with her. The royal turned around quickly and looked to a number of people that could of been responsible. Looking around, she would of hastily accused Sirina, that wench, of the aggression, but decided that there was little point. As far as she knew, she was the only person that Anastasia had actively antagonized and so far was the only real suspect.

"Of course, that simple barbarian would be the first to resort to violence. What a pathetic excuse for a huntress." Anastasia thought to herself as she seethed with anger. She once again turned on her heel before looking to Charlotte. Any of the simple butlers back at her own estate would of been able to intercept that stone. Were all the students in this school absolutely useless?

"I wish to be left alone for now. Do whatever it is the citizenry does in the meantime." Anastasia commanded Charlotte before finally heading back through the doors of the academy. She had a very important conversation to have with her father. After all, he seemed very excited for his upcoming meeting with the White Fang and a 'mysterious woman' as he dubbed her.

Little did Anastasia know that Charlotte had ulterior motives... She could have easily caught the stone, but simply chose not to.

As for what she was going to do... Her plan had worked quite well earlier. She would have to consider how hazardous it would be, of course, before attempting to move forward and eventually reach her goal, but she would work on that later. After all, it wasn't every day one was chosen by royalty...

Hah! She thought Anastasia was actually quite ridiculous. But the more allies she had when it came time to return 'home', the better.

Yuki watched as her bag slid on the ice towards her and instinctively her left hand grabbed the strap and then felt the weight as it went into momentary free fall before tapping onto the ground at her new chair. As Yuki watched the thin ice that had covered the table rapidly melt into puddles she silently stared for a moment at the grumbling of the three about there "Soaked" books.
This is what she had meant with "maybe" but what was done was done as she silently watched Jackson curse and then walk away from the table to find replacement material. And for the hyperactive one, Yuki had silently enjoyed the little things of watching her reading material freeze to her face. Although when she then accidentally split the remains onto herself, Yuki simply reached into her bag and pulled a small ice blue towel out and silently held it out.

However as Yuki had held out the towel she quietly said towards the loud one in a monotone tone of voice.
"Well, at least you didn't call me a "witch", also not bad quip... cold shoulder I'll give you a point for that one...
However its not easy to live without an arm... would you like to try it, it a non dangerous sense of course... all we'll need is a bit of rope..."

Then for a moment Yuki paused flashing a small, rare and fleeting smile in which one could call the slightest movement of Yuki's lips when not intended, a smile.
However as Yuki stared at Avena, she spoke once more in her monotone.
"Or is it that you don't want to try walking a mile in my shoes? I mean only having a single arm is quite tiresome you know. you might even realize why I have such a "Cold" shoulder, although I guess in the end you'd still have it better then I did since my ability to have balance ended that day..."

Erde had been quiet, far too quiet as she had acted as Malidia Watraridge of course this was for good reason as Malidia Watraridge was her cover as an instructor in Mistral. Of course her goal in the academy wasn't just entirely to train them to fight grim as she hoped she might mind the unpolished gem that would be able to kill her one day... unfortunately her luck was the worst and no such individuals appeared.
However between the breaks when she would visit her "pet" Amnon, she would make her silent trips to vale to report to her master Cinder, or once and a while acted on behalf of her whims and silently eliminated a target that had been in her bingo book.
Of course she also had other reasons to travel vale as she would travel to her various hideaways to inspect their condition. Over the course of one such former trip, an idea hatched in her mind as she read the paper gathering small information and read a headline about a recent surge in comic printing.
As it happened Erde had at one point collected various fictions in her travels which now littered various hideaways in boxes gathering dust.

She had hoped that such "Material" would one day find value, and would sell it as a means to an end. However as she had read such a headline that fateful day, she found that various material within her possession were in fact becoming harder to come by. In following days she would scourer her hideouts gathering the boxes with the intent to sell them off since timing was efficient... however she ran into a problem...
She had no such connections in such a annoyingly fanatic world in which collectors roamed.

She then had an idea, after all who better to lead astray with the idea of whimsical pleasures then the immature and foolish. and if she could also recruit or brainwash them to her goal. Then it was killing two birds with a single stone, but in reality it was three birds since Erde wanted to gain a look upon the one known as Sirina Zezili and hear from Reina about any news.

Sirina Zezili

"A trip to the infirmary might be good for her though." Sirina said bitterly, "But... To be honest I don't want you to do anything... As I want to be the one to knock her down to earth." Sirina grinned a scary grin, a type of grin that one would not expect from a person such as Sirina. Taking a deep breath the grin disappeared, and looked downward with a sigh, "It's easy to say that, but I am a fool. A coward."

Ning Kohkuhycumest

"You think my family cares about arriving unannounced." Ning said with a sarcastic grin, "My uncle won't care. Nor would any of my family. In fact, they are always happy to meet friends of mine... one of my cousins... well, starting hitting on Sirina not to long ago... poor guy."

He then took a breath and stood up, "Sirina may, or may not be there. She is welcome there, so who knows." He said as he started walking to the door, "As for Octavia.. not a clue where she is."

Togami nodded with a polite smile, "Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt... But, I am confused about something."

The heir paused, his face crinkling in confusion, "What do you mean your cousin was hitting Sirina? I hardly think she would take a simple poke long before he got something much worse in return."

Is it common for family members to hit their family's friends? Togami thought in confusion.

Mist hung in the air, shrouding the mansion's sharp spikes atop the towers with windows that glared at the surrounding countryside suspiciously, as if some wandering faunus or other ne'er-do-well could threaten its domineering position atop the cliff beset hill that the fortress found its home atop. The fog also curled in such a way that a single limousine, jet black like the night, rolled into the gate of the Murasaki Mansion.

As the automobile came to a stop, the door was opened by a hurried butler, who knowingly gulped in nervousness as the infamous Hedera Murasaki stepped out onto the smooth brick driveway and efficiently made his way to the front door. His short hair collected small drops of dew and as he removed his glasses, wiping them clean with a kerchief, the baron leaned over to the small box to the right of the door and held his eye open to a scanner to confirmed his identity.

The doors creaked open, as if for effect and the man was greeted by the light of his chandelier bouncing off the spotless surfaces of his home. The angles of the room had been deigned specially for this purpose- to assault those that entered and created a feeling of awe, but that was a sensation that Hedera found... alien.

"I want these doors oiled. It lessens the effect. I need to entranced visitors, not make them squeamish," The speculator demanded to the unseen, but listening help. The servants absence also provided a sense of awe, as well as hid the gross living conditions and menial pay of the primarily faunus workforce.

But they were not even worth a mention in this expose, now were they? No, this particular introduction is for the reptilian mastermind that had single-handed bounced the Murasaki family from the depths of shameful obscurity caused by the decline in the aristocratic rule of Remnant, and had returned the nobles to their rightful place as owners of this realm: Hedera Murasaki, whom had just come home from an interminable series of meetings with various contacts on the boards of companies that competed his holdings. Trust it may be, but trust they did not have.

Hedera transcends such a state as trust. He does not rely, he manipulates and controls. When someone crossed him, he made sure that the very cross they made was their downfall.

Which made this current spectacle ever the more troublesome.

His son, Togami, left his care and where the teen had gone thus far was a mystery. Apparently, his staff spent most of the last week trying to open the doors to his room, assuming that he had only committed one of his many tantrums- they were oh so common when Hedera was away. How tedious- but when they had finally figured out how to cut through the bindings of the door- what did the help call them again? Adamant or something- the fools found a hollowed out room.

"Unacceptable."

Was he even worth acknowledging? That imbecile is hardly able to manage a simple escape and yet- Hedera paused as the man attempted to freeze Togami's assets. He moved the money. Some flicker of an expression passed across the father's face, but quickly found itself overtaken with frustration. Hedera turned to the hireling that stood at the doorway mouthing off about how his disappointment made his way out of the compound with his cane in hand and made it pay for its transgressions. "Clean it up." The autocrat spat before taking long strides towards his personal office.

"Let's see where you are, you little welp." Hedera typed angrily into his computer, turning tracking program on to see an error message.

Fury does not begin to describe the prejudice with which the man demolished his office. Not a single item remained recognizable after he was through with it.

"I mean he was trying to get her to go on a date with him.... he didn't last long. Then again... he is a real dick so he deserved it. Though Sirina did devastate him... Still, it was fun to watch. Don't tell anyone I said that though." Ning said as he started off towards Vale. They walked down through Vale into a fair neighborhood, the houses where all a fair size, except one. On a large plot of land there sat a relatively larger house, nothing to big.

Ning stopped at the door to the house and took a breath, "Ok, a few things before we go in. You'll find that my uncle and cousins are rather unique with their greetings... so if you see me get mobbed, its perfectly normal." Ning said with a smile, "And most importantly... be yourself, we have a thing about people being fake. So, are you ready to meet the rest of the Kohkuhycumest family?"
