She stuffed the dairy treat into her mouth, the blueberry flavor washing inside. I don't really enjoy having my thoughts bothered by someone else. It gets really annoying.
"But I suppose that also having the chance to be given high spirits may be worth the risk," she noted, shoveling another spoonful of yogurt into her mouth, "it's just that I don't want us all to die because our leader decided to be in a bad mood."
In a blink of an eye, Chess was next to Mentari, his head on her lap. "So? We all die sometime." She gestured to the amber eye. "It's more fun to die fighting than in some fucking bed with your grandkids looming over you for the inheritance." Chess continued, his ears twitching playfully as his tail wrapped around Mentari's arm.

She then gulped the last spoonful of yogurt and continued with her orange juice, beginning to pet Chess's head and tail. The adorable faunus team member made her want to pounce them, but she decided that doing so in a cafeteria would cause misunderstandings.
"Besides, do we really know how her semblance works?" she asked, "Because all I've been told is that it affects someone's mind."

"It essentially transmits trauma. She relives memories, be them good or bad, receives the trauma," Chess made a finger gun and fired it at his head. "And then transmits it to her target." Chess blushed as she was petted. Not that she wanted Mentari to stop or anything.

Mentari continued to pet the faunus as she sipped on her juice. "Well in that case, that makes everything easier," Mentari concluded, "just don't make her mad at us. Simple as that." Putting down the half-full glass, she laid back in her chair and breathed in the cafeteria air. Similar to a chemistry lab in some ways. Could use a bit more fragrance.

"Besides, wouldn't it be good to know what makes her happy? And hone her ability of sending us good memories? Sorta like sharpening a blade...of happiness?"
Next on Lucas' list of things to eat was actually tea, hot, steaming, tea. Chugging down the cup in mere seconds, Lucas exclaimed while his face went red from the heat, static electricity sparking along his fingers
"HOT TEA, REALLY HOT TEA!"
And shoved a glass of water into his face, chugging that down, producing a lot of steam from his mouth and ears as it cooled him down in relief

"Because it does seem simple."
She pulled out her scroll, and showed them pictures that were taken at peculiar angles. All of them had Charlotte, and of course, Theriam. "I have eyes all around this school as of the moment," she explained, "and through them I've been able to take some great photos." She also showed off a pictured of Lucas changing his underwear, luckily without anything sticking out.

Sirina chuckled a little, "I have that effect on people." She said as she swung her cane around in a circle, "You know, I never though that I would run into someone with your type of opinions.... My father had similar opinions, and so did my mother.... Though they never took their own opinion seriously, never willing to act on them. They saw the corruption that is found all over this world, and they figured that the only way to fix it was the complete upheaval of society.... Or something like that."
She then sighed, "I guess it's not worth trying to lie about.... I admit that they rub off slightly on me... I've been looking for hope, and possibly to find a way to disprove that opinion, maybe find a way that wasn't as drastic" She then faced Reina, "And you have convinced me of something... That my searching is useless...."

Wryyyyyy~" The sound he made almost made him look inhuman, like some sort of beast, although he would never attack Charlotte, his anger was going slightly out of control.
You allowing me to take over? Even when there's nothing?
'I am not! Give me back my mind right now!'
Alright alright, two minutes.
'Just do it!'
Her eyes widened with both fear and concern.
"Theriam... calm down..."
I'm worried. Both for me, and for you.
She knew the pain of rage-fueled madness, and she didn't want her best friend to know it.

"Ah, good evening Skye," Anna gave a polite bow. "I would be delighted if you would accompany me and miss Carmina in our pursuit of sustenance. It would be proper team etiquette I believe."
"Uh, wha?" Carmina was from Vacuo, a rather casual country, and certain words may be out of her internal dictionary. This proved to be a problem for her when communicating with students like Anna, who are from the higher echelons of society. In fact, Anna was of noble blood. Perhaps Avena can understand high-sounding jargon. "Avena," she leaned to her teammate to whisper, "in English?"

"Watch ouuuuuut!" shouted a high pitched voice coming from the sky. A faunus girl slammed in the most unceremonious manner into a pillar with a loud metallic thunk. "…Nrggh," her voice was muffled due to her face being planted into the pillar, "I gehth that dithn't wurk." She managed to pull herself out of the pillar, leaving a dent shaped like her arm. "Did someone say something about food?" she asked with a somewhat dopey grin on her face. "Cos I. Am. Staaaaaarving!"

After reading what she thought and due to the manual anger restraining Jugo managed to pull off, the haze vanished after a few seconds.
"Sorry about that, I know I can get really... Touchy and protective.
It does happen sometimes, much like when it happened for Ether." He explained, slightly guilt tripping over scaring her.
After all, she wasn't the one that should be scared or intimidated from him.
Although it was true that just seeing him in this state was quite terrifying, especially for the people in front of him.
Even Leonard, someone that did the exact same thing felt somehow uncomfortable when Theriam was in this state, even he knew how dangerous it would be for him to get to that side, even if he could come back.
His berserk persona is possibly the worst thing about him, because if it runs wild, the hidden form of Miriel will show and the very sight of it makes him live up to his nickname of the King of Blood.
He was possibly, in this state, five times stronger and faster than he ever would be as a normal person.
However, just using it makes him lose himself little by little, hence why he needed some level of control over Jugo.

"It's nice that you want to protect me, but I don't need your protection... I'm strong. I can take care of myself. Besides, like I said, there's really only one way anyone can hurt me now--and cruel as she is, I just can't see her doing that."
