Percy knelt down and picked up a rock from the dirt, tossed it a few times in his hand, and tossed it up in the air. "Look, missy, I'm not telling you anything until you explain who you are and what the hell you're doing following me around"

"I was sent by the prophets of Lodav to find you. Apparently you are of interest to him, and with the coming turmoil we are to bring you back to Aldrizar, where you will be away from these foreign threats." She sighed. Akkiva hoped to portray the personality of an impatient and impractical little girl. That way he would underestimate her, and would not be hostile. In reality she planned exactly what she would do if things went wrong. "Now if your pride-party has ended can you please tell me what in Halocc happened back there?!"

She sipped once more from the cup, "There is something of an irony, I find, within this situation. Disease, infamous for causing hideous disfiguring, and yet you are the one who delivers it. I've heard, from mortals, that their personification of disease is highly unlike you. I've heard them claim Pestilence to be a pale, withered being. One who is sickly at sight, covered by boils, nearly skeletal in form, smelling wretched, and with pneumonic lungs. You, on the other hand, are just about the exact opposite. It is interesting, how these mortals choose to define that which they do not understand." Mirayeset commented, "I, personally, fit decently with how my mortals perceive me. A wealthy mistress, that is. Like I've already said, I do change my form depending where I go. Those in Khena'en would not even recognize this body as mine." She sipped once more from the cup, finished with her rambling.

"Look, Miss, I'm not dumb. That weak little girl act? Really? C'mon you can do better than that. You've obviously got skill, I can see it, so don't play with me". Percy then continued. "What happened back their? Oh, not much, really... just self-defense"

"I just spent two damn years fighting a war. Finally, I can be back home again. I have jobs, I have a home... I don't have time for your bullshit. If Lodav wants me so bad, well then he can man up and get me himself". With that, Percy backed up into the woods, ensuring no body could pounce on him.

She nodded. " I understand you do not wish to leave, but you cannot stay. The war that is coming will be worse than any you have been in. They won't come with one giant. They will come with hundreds. And from what I've seen, all of them will have a special little bounty out right on your head." She walked closer to him as he hid in the shadows. "Do not blame me for this. I am a slave to my cause. For your sake i hope you do not keep that particular power for yourself. It is beyond your comprehension. It is beyond even mine. The darkness you see is but a wisp of the destruction that resides within it. What resides in me."
She understood his warning, although she could not fathom the reasoning behind it.
Power is power, she thought. How it is used is up to the user. As she played with the wisps of darkness emanating from the metal, her thoughts suddenly turned to the battle between gods-and the utter humiliation she had suffered. I am powerless! Clenching her fist in anger, she stood, knocking over the chair. This will not stand. One way or another, we shall fix this, she silently vowed to herself. Bending over, she picked up the small, insignificant-looking lump of metal, turned, and teleported away in a blinding flash of light.
And this shall help me do it.

Percy kept walking through the woods. He almost believed her, but not totally. He had a duty, and he couldn't abandon it. "I've already fought an Army of giants. Remember? The War in the North? The Empire beat them then, we'll beat them if they come back"

"Well then. I guess I'm coming with you." The man looked back with a sarcastic smile. " oh please, you are going to need someone looking after you at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire army comes crashing down on you once the report comes back of a monstrous giant slaying beast in the woods, and you have no convenient backup to be there. When gods and mortals collide, even champions are humbled. And besides, I found you once, I can find you again. We might as well work together if we are stuck with each other."

And this shall help me do it.
Nul was to be found on the very edge of the River Styx, right along the border of O'lim's domain. A temporary encampment had been constructed there, a war factory of sorts - the assorted dead under O'lim's control were building.... something, under the guidance of Nul's engineers. The engineers Nul had summoned were the same he had hidden away ages ago, with bodies made of black steel and jewels, powered by their very own souls.
They all appeared to be crafting a pair of doors, as well as some sort of metallic carriage.
Nul ignored Selena's arrival until the lump of metal she had brought was in his face, and then he sighed. I suppose I can't just sell my services to one annoyance without selling them to everybody else, too. "Sword, right? Fine. Pay me later." With absolutely no fanfare of any sort, Nul grabbed the lump, shoved it into the flames of an eerily-glowing forge made of borrowed bones, and then brought three hammers down on it at once with his three spare arms.
The rapid-firing hammer strikes are unnerving, perfectly timed like the ticks of a clock. In a matter of moments, however, the deed is done, and Nul plunges the blade into the river. White sparks and steam both fly up where the blade touched the water. Then, his mechanical followers step forward, placing on it a hilt and handle, then wrapping the whole package in silk, before Nul hands it back to Selena.

"Be my guest, but I can take care of myself". Percy didn't halt his pace. They were in the middle of nowhere, but he knew Wilderness like the back of his hand. "I'm not a champion" he mumbled as he walked. "I'm a soldier. I take life, their heroes save people, I kill them"

Kyra was quite amused, truly enjoying the fact that she looked so unlike one with her set of powers. When mortals expected disease and plague, they always looked for a horrific being, never seeing Kyra as a threat until it is too late. She used this to her advantage, and often. The only time a mortal actually called her out as being the Goddess Tywyllwch, she was intrigued. She ended up laying with the mortal man, thus creating Gwynedd, the demi-Goddess. "You are most right, Mirayeset. It is certainly an irony that I am the bringer of plague, yet mortals turn to me in my beauty. It is something I have found to be quite advantageous." She looked over at Gwynedd, who looked to be quite bored. "Gwynedd, dear, you must go and mingle with the others. I hate to bore you with the things we discuss here." As Gwynedd bowed, leaving, Kyra watched her. She was immensely proud of Gwynedd, although it didn't seem that Gwynedd had any unique powers. Of course, she was immune to all sorts of disease, and quite beautiful, both of which blessings came from her mother. She didn't seem to share the powers of her mother, though.
