Brief History:

Rome is a large, historical city that grew from the two sons of Ashur in the early days. Anton and Romulus led 87 tribes of Man to where Rome stands today, and established a city. It was named after Romulus, who was killed defending the city from Elven Attackers. His brother Anton named what was called "The Hub", Rome, in honor of his brother. The city quickly grew, run by a Senate and a Chancellor. As the years passed, the Romans expanded, conquering most Kingdoms of Man and establishing an everlasting presence on Earth.
Geographical area and key features: Rome is located in the center of the continent, on the lower land bridge of the big lake.

Rome is a highly intelligible and civilized society. Their army is the strongest Human Army. Rome has their own numerical system. Rome is responsible for the evolution of many technologies, such as the Aquaduct and Sewer Systems, as well as the arch and other types of architecture.

God's Powers: Randomness, Cleverness
God's Divine Form: A white raven.
God's Mortal Form: Arnen has many forms, of which include a young boy and a royal duke. He takes the form of whatever he needs to look like to get his work done.
God's Bio: When the world was created, Arnen stayed hidden, wanting no part in creating his own race or land. He controlled no part of the universe, or at least he didn't know he did, until he discovered that he was clever and random. His goal is to gain followers to become the most powerful god, and distribute randomness, so that life for mortals is not routine, but instead unpredictable. While Arnen exists life will be random and unpredictable. He will gain followers by any means, even by tricking other gods. However, Arnen is no evil god - simply one who wants his own followers. Other gods many a time come to him for his help, as though he may lack followers, he is on no side but his own, and will serve anyone who is willing to give him something in return. He owns no city or race, but rather has small temples scattered around the globe. People will commonly pray to him that randomness and the odds may fall in their favor.

[The NAR]

Brief History:

Septimus was founded in the early days by Ashur's Demigod Son, Romulus Septim. Septim was a Military General and Strategist from a small Hunting Tribe in the area where Rome was founded, and rose up to be the Tribe's chief after challenging, and killing, the current chief.

Septimus soon went on a campaign all around the lands settled by Man, assimilating 87 tribes into a single, massive tribe which settled on the River Romus, and began to create the city they called "Talmos". Years of construction led to Talmos becoming the first Human City ever formed. However, this brought the attention of the Elves. Eleven Armies sacked the city, and Septim died defending it.

The people of Talmos renamed it to reflect on its founder. The result was Septimus. From there, the city grew larger and larger, and their power skyrocketed. It wasn't long before their armies swept across the lands and annexed countless kingdoms, establishing the Septiman Empire, more commonly called simply "The Empire". Today, Septimus is the head of the greatest Empire of Man, which holds a massive hand in trade and military operations.
Geographical area and key features: Septimus is located in the far south, in the center of a land bridge beneath the large lake. Septimus is famous for the massive tower in the center of the city, called the "Eye of Man".

The Empire is open to trade with all races, and does so frequently. Septimus has the largest and arguably, most powerful army among men. They also have their own number system and formed the English Language.

Pushing forward an idea though, if the Empire is going to be this really large, major player in mortal affairs then would other Gods have influence within its borders? This would have the two-stone effect of presenting a large area for followers even though not everybody needs a faction and potentially create a dynamic for followers competing for dominance within the primary human realm. Although I'd say that Ashur's followers would be dominant at the start - what with the leader being part of the Order and what-not. Then again, it's your creation so could go pear-shaped very easily.

God's Name: Lihar Ns'Kymo (last name's actually the mountain which she was born from).
God's Powers: Fire/Heat & Rock/Mountain stuff.
God's Divine Form: Lihar typically takes on a draconic form or elvish form. In either case she has obsidian like skin/scales and has red glowing eyes, which in draconic form are cat like. In her elvish form she wears a red dress which has a flowing like patern which gives off the feeling of lava, or going into battle she waers black armor with red highlights and a sword wreathed in flames. Her drqconic form has scales all around which very in size but genuinely don't get very large, twin horns come out from her head like obsidian knives, but other than that she doesn't look anything paticularally exotic.
God's Mortal Form: Female fire elf basically the same as her god form aside from the fact that her dress doesn't seem lava like just simply a nice red.
God's Bio: Lihar was created a second generation goddess, the daughter of Vardaelia, her creation wasn't intentional but she had formed out of the great mass of energy in the core of the planet. As the accumulated energy built up it formed into a fully sentient being of raw energy and stone turning the center of the planet to magma. Vardaelia had done well at keeping the earth firm and getting to the surface wasn't an easy task, however when she created the first mountain it left an opening, and Lihar sprang out in all her molten glory. Despite her difference in mind she still considers the earth goddess her mother, and made her own version of elves, as well as making volcanoes and wildfires part of the great cycle allowing new growth afterwards.

Clothes are a different matter. As it is abnormally difficult to find, I shall describe such. A somewhat close-fitting dress, tyrian purple in color, which wraps around the body to bare one shoulder. It is belted securely at the waist with a plain, dark brown leather belt. A dark blue shawl is also present, though it is rather small. There is likewise a pair of simple soft leather boots and some leather hose known as anpilia. In terms of jewelry, there is little. When it is worn, it is mostly a silver necklace or bracelet.

God's Mortal Form: Depending on the situational context, it is about the same. If a significant degree more of modesty is required, then it becomes a blue dress with a coat that covers most of the body.

God's Bio: Born ever since the oceans flowed this world, and since man had chosen to conquer them, Mirayeset has been gifted the salted waters of this earth. She, likewise, held dominion over serenity. It is she that keeps the soothing sound of the sea in check, the waves gentle and the calming atmosphere in check. Her serenity extends past the sea, likewise, and thus she could influence daily lives as well. Her life has been that of most gods, escalation in times of crisis and calmness in times of peace.

In the earliest days, seas were calm. There were storms, yes, but the races of men did not disturb it. Creatures of all sorts, from elegant to beastly, inhabited this vast fluid space. Over time, however, men grew past their canoes. Once the lakes were mastered, rivers came next. After rivers came the ocean. Massive boats were built to traverse the waters, rapidly sailing on the backs of sails and slaves. Soon enough, as with all of man's creations, these turned to war machines. Bronze rams, archers, and piracy followed to improve this war. With each passing day, the seas grow less quiet, and yet there is a serenity to be found in them. A beauty. The calm shore, the soothing sounds of the waves, the fresh salt air. This is Mirayeset, the goddess of such waters. It is she who tends the oceans with a delicate hand, and her gentle serenity finds its way to all creatures of this earth. Peaceful silence, calm waves, such is her domain, and the races of men are grateful for each day they feel her tender touch in their daily lives.

God's Name: Ornara/Zrixith) (There are two distinct personalities inhabiting her body, Ornara and Zrixith)
God's Powers: Ocean and Monsters
God's Divine Form: Unfortunately as always with mythical female chars, having a tad of a problem finding sfw images. I've got this or this. I quite like the former, but perhaps with some more modest clothing. It would pretty much be the mortal form as well for her usual meetings with her worshippers.
God's Mortal Form: Not to sure which to go (in addition to a more ‘normal’ appearance) this, this, this or this. Choosing pics are a bugger for me – but they all get the point across to be fair.

God's Bio:
In the beginning, when the Earth was created, it was dry and empty – life may have attempted to struggle upon its surface, but inevitably it succumbed and perished. Then, with the birth of Sapphire came the first rains. Whilst the creation of the Earth was an unparalleled feat upon itself, the creation of the first life was something that no single God could ever have hoped to accomplish. But, with the warmth of the Sun, the shelter of the Earth and the nourishment of the water, life could finally emerge and establish a foothold upon the brave new world of Creation. Gods continued to emerge, and as the rains continued large, permanent bodies of water formed upon the Earth. These were the first lakes, seas and – given time – oceans.

Mirayeset came into being as guardian over this new domain – the calm tranquillity of this frontier as of yet unclaimed by the rampant expansion of man and his kin was a haven of peace. But, the morals could not be halted in their impassioned claim to their world and soon embarked upon the vast oceans. With them came conflict, strife and destruction. As coastal settlements established themselves, storms and waves that were once merely a part of the way of things became feared tools of devastation. The Ocean had changed. And so, Ornara was born.

Younger, and more rash, than her elder sister – Nara relished the freedom and independence of the beckoning Ocean. Eternal calm and tranquillity bored her and she sought to explore and create. The oceans became filled with her attempts at creation – the inexperience of youth failing to deter her from the challenge. Creatures that other Gods would have tossed aside as write-offs were held aloof with pride and let loose upon the world. Ornara paid little heed to the consequences, with delicate ecosystems becoming easily upset by her haphazard meddling. But alas, such is the trouble with the curiosity of youth.

However, her greatest creations were the Atlanteans – her people. Although, it is perhaps ironic that they are not entirely of her own making, part result of her meddling and part of the evolution of the wiser, more experienced designs of her elders. Regardless, she was ecstatic at their existence and came to love and adore them. To Ornara, the Atlanteans are her beloved children who she takes it upon herself to nurture and protect. Whilst this was at first only a benefit to many of the other Gods – especially Mirayeset – as Nara had finally found an alternative occupation than constantly releasing her latest creations upon their realms. But, over time a few may have grown wary over the nature of her people – their expansionist nature across the islands of the world not going unnoticed. Especially as they start turning their eyes towards the continent.

Ok, am I the only one feeling really weird that I'm accepting myself here? Like, a deep, churning guilt that will haunt me for the rest of my life?
I suppose I'll go for the Ocean Goddess over the Orc rebellion to prevent the lovely confusion of having to come up with a mortal app in a God RP But I am uncomfortable just saying "Wahay, I'm in!" Does anyone have any trouble with this app? I really want to start posting on the IC, but for now I'll try to keep her from interacting with anyone in case a rapid retcon is needed.

People within the Empire are allowed to worship whomever they wish. Many worship multiple gods. Yes, other Gods may ACT within the Empire but Ashur is the apex player of the Empjre

Brief History: Brynja knew of a land north of the mainland where she saw great beauty. The mankind of Ashur had not yet been created, so the land was primarily empty. Brynja went to the mountain in the centre, naming it Hverim. Over the course of some years, she created the race known as the Brídhe by shaping hard snow and ice into the shapes of men and women, then using her powers to grant them great beauty. The creatures began to walk then, and began to build their own society based on Brynja's merits. Ever-loyal to their creator, the Brídhe helped to build the great palace at the peak of Hverim. All that while, they were bringing men and women of the human race to live in their land, promising them great beauty. Brynja granted this to them, and thus the northmen were granted a home.

Geographical area and key features: They live in the furthest northern part of the world, on an island north of the mainland. In the direct centre of the island is Hverim, which is the holy mountain of the Goddess Brynja. Her palace sits on the peak.

Other details: The Brídhe are a people with a rich culture, very heavily centred on the ideals of love and passion. They are a race of extremely beautiful and handsome elf-like hominids, created by the Goddess Brynja. They have their own legends and stories to tell, mostly from their thousands of years of existence. The men and women of the territory are all devout followers of Brynja, and are therefore also very handsome and very beautiful. They, like the Brídhe, have a rich culture, although their culture is strongly influenced by their cold, winter domain.

[The Starlight]

Brief History: Vardaelia, when she created the Earth, wanted a safe refuge for the races she had created, along with all the animals and plants that would hunted and gathered by the mortals. So she created the Great Forest, placing her newly created wood-elves and Ents within the forests, along with every species of plant and animal she had created.
Geographical area and key features: The Great Forest stretches for miles. The wood elves protect its borders, letting no woodcutters or hunters within. The elves dwell in the treetops, having created great balconies and treehouses, along with walkways and gardens nestled in the trees. There are a few elven stone cities, that are also in clearings, where other wood-elves dwell. The Ents dwell beside the trees and animals, keeping the peace and watching over the nature. A large river, Tarea, runs through the midst of the forest.

It has been described as the most beautiful place upon Earth by many mortals and gods alike. The trees are vibrant and alive, all kinds of colors can be seen in the furs of animals, and the flowers of plants. It has a peaceful, hopeful, uplifting and eternal feel to it, for the trees within the forest are among some of the first trees ever created.
Other details:
Lord Saerondr Telembor is the current Warden of the Great Forest. He is the leader of the wood-elves, and commands their armies, along with taking care of the businesses of states
Preferred neighbors would be plains, hills, preferably other elven realms. To the near south, mountains from which the elves can easily gather stone.
The Vardelians love musics and arts as well as nature, and so they revere Selena for her gift to them. Often, their joyful voices can be heard, along with the humming of instruments, and the chirping of birds.

Nation/Faction name: Atlantis
Race(s): Atlanteans (humanoid, but they are blue and are amphibians with the typical semi-aquatic properties, although they can't survive indefinitely underwater. Still need air to breath! - I'll try to find a pic)
Patron God(s): Onara primarily, although they do worship the her sister and Sapphire. Whilst worship of the rest of the pantheon is present it is to a far lesser extent.
Current Leader(s): They are lead primarily by a Council of representatives of the influential clans, the head of which (or most powerful) at the moment is Aquila II. However, the Elder Council is a very prominent body that wields significant weight due to its spiritual and religious influence.
Brief History:
The Atlanteans initially emerged as the result of a particular off-shoot of human who stumbled into Onara's realm. With much of the difficult work and foundations of mortal-building done for her, the young Goddess (even younger at this point) lept at the chance to build upon this base and change it to her liking. Whilst not as populous or widespread as the humans, the Atlanteans remained fairly united. Onara immediately feel in love with her children and bestowed upon them the bounty and knowledge of the Oceans (or as much as her sister would allow her to). In return, the Atlanteans came to worship her as their patron deity and - safely isolated from the larger nations on the continent - began to grow and strengthen.

However, soon their modest island began to strangle them - tying them down to its shores. Unhappy to see her people stagnate, Onara granted them knowledge of another island not far from their own. Driven by the word of their Goddess, the Atlanteans set out into the unknown waves to find new lands for their people - and find it they did. So successfuly was this attempt, that it was not long before the Atlanteans found themselves at home on the open water, charting the currents and winds whilst searching constantly for new lands to expand to. Whilst initially it was peaceful, inevitably they stumbled across islands that were not abandoned. This raised a conundrum for their kind, but after heated discussions they reached the conclusion that their Goddess - all those years ago - had granted them the Divine Right to ALL of the coasts beyond their own. And so, they began to take them.

Now, as the Atlanteans come to colonise most of the islands in their archipelago, they turn towards the shores of the continent.

Fairly religious, they are made up of a number of clan families socially. Military-wise, the Navy reigns supreme. To be a warrior in the fleet or an explorer or even a cook is considered to be a great honour within Atlantean society. In contrast, members of the army are not seen nearly to the same standard, and none-to-surprisingly the Atlantean's abilities at sea far outweigh their capabilities on land.

It is also worth noting that as amphibians the Atlanteans cannot live too far from a ready supply of water. Long exposure in a desert without sufficient water is a death-sentence for them.

Brief History: Founded by ambitious explorers seeking treasure and the Fountain of Youth, the city has since grown to become a hugely cultured, extremely wealthy nation in its own right. Early in its history, it would have gone almost entirely unnoticed by the gods had the original settlers not founded it next to one of the fairy's most sacred springs, one that their patron goddess Selena was said to have bathed in immediately after her conception. After the humans turned out to be benevolent, the fairies took to subtly influencing the populace, both as a means of defense and recreation. Thanks to their interference and Selena's blessing, it grew at an enormous rate until it became what it is today. The humans living within the city know none of this, however. While they rightfully believe themselves to be the city closest to the gods, they have no clue who, why, or how they became this way.
Geographical area and key features: A massive royal palace in the center of the city, contains countless works of art and artifacts of incredible value, which may or may not have belonged to them originally. Nearby lies a magical spring, held sacred by fairies and believed to be the Fountain of Youth by humans. Geographically, the city is located next to the Great Forest.
Other details: The sacred spring and the hidden glade surrounding it is the unofficial home of the Seelie court of benevolent fairies. The water itself contains miraculous healing properties, and while zealously guarded by the fairies, is occasionally used by Selena to consecrate humans as her Tempestors, champions endowed with magical might and the support of all fairies.

My gut is telling me that a character that knows what will happen could go south very quickly
The problem is that if your char says something will happen, it therefore MUST happen - which can affect others a bit too directly I feel. Plus there's the added issue with the domain of Time already being taken by Lunas Legion. I'm going to have to deny the app until that gets worked out.

Although, I am just Co-OP. You can TG it over to Terminus to get a second opinion.

Brief History:. Lodav once made a deal with an army, one in the midst of retreate and falling in despair. "Give to me your allegiance, and I shall give to you your enemies heads." From this deal the first generation of Ethereals were born. From there this race sought to conquer the known world, converting any who they encountered to follow Lodav into eternity.
Geographical area and key features: Climate and geography are similar to that of South America, with vast jungled areas where roads and cities have not been built. Mount Halladra is a huge volcano near the capital city. Near the fires and lava is a cave that leads directly to Halocc.
Other details: The country is ruled by three representitives, called Vizers, with their combined authority similar to that of kings. The people of this country revolve their lives around war. All who can hold a sword, man or woman, may be called to battle at a moments notice. They always are sur to keep their military oiled and constantly active. Gender roles are not relevant in this society, and many of the Vizers in history are women. One of the Vizers must always be a priest, and one must have completed a tour of service in the military. Priests actively seek converts in other nations, so the population of this country resembles a potluck of ethnicities. The architectural types resemble that of East Asian cultures.

You misunderstood.He says if you continue that way that will happen.Mortals can change their faith.It's like for example he says to someone if you continue that war you will die.Now he can continue or not.

Brief History: The Black Covenant has existed since the earlier days of the many sovereign states which now exist. It was formed by Lucien himself, and is an organization of great secrecy. Its members only host conventions when they absolutely must, and often hide their devotion to the Vagrant Liar with false faith in other gods. Unlike in the beginning, the members of the Black Covenant are allowed to be of any social status. The only requirements are wit, a silver tongue, and ambition to become great. Its members are scattered across the world, tugging at the strings of fate in an effort to further both their own goals, and the goals that Lucien gives to his underlings.
Geographical area and key features: The only land held by the Black Covenant is the land that its members own. The greatest features of it are extreme secrecy, a very selective recruitment process, and a vicious policy towards any who so much as utter a word of its business without explicit permission. Such betrayal often invokes a visit from the Vagrant Liar himself, and he makes sure to whisper words of warning to all within the covenant.
Other details: While they all vary in political power, each member of the Black Covenant shares capability in stealth and subterfuge. Some may be assassins, or merely advisers to some noble, or even simple farm-keepers. Occupation outside the Covenant hardly matters. That said, it does affect who has the most authority in the organization, as duels are common.

No it's really not. You're the god of the Hunt and Battle Strategy, not the God of Destiny nor Adventure. Also just putting it out there once we have enough gods who rule over domains perhaps we could have people app for Patron deities? Who rule over cities etc. Also we need a fertility god if anyone is interested.

Strategy =/= prophetic visions, it means predicting the future based on what you know of the current situation and creating a battle or campaign plan to achieve a set of goals. They're fairly different.
