I think you might know this but you can be three types of people:

Student: Self explanatory, you attend Beacon and meet the other students, go to the different classes... etc.

Teacher: Also kind of self explanatory, you attend Beacon as well, but you have more permissions and time on your hands, like go to the city and do stuff that students wouldn't be able to do, this also gives you the ability to power your character a bit more.

Antagonists: Those are the bad guys, you are usually against Beacon and their teachings and have some relation to a character in the RP in some way, the character's power can be really... Let's say... Explosive you can get your character to be absolutely overpowered (Not a god mind you, the characters needs to be able to be hit and, in some way, killed. You need weaknesses to make a good character, but I think you know this already.), You have basically any sort of time on your hands and permissions unlimited, but you are heavily outnumbered by the Teachers and Students. But given the allies that you could make, I think this won't be a real problem.

Those are the types of people you can be, the closest thing to neutral is a Teacher, but you still need to verbalize your classes and make the background more in depth.
