Foreign Policy: The Dominion wishes to reclaim the ancient Hellenistic empire under Alexander the Great, but will attack other areas for wealth and slaves.
Civil Freedoms:1 some people are slaves under the Kings rule and also every free male is in the military and every female is a land overseer those who don't prove useful to the nation are turned into slaves.
Political Freedoms: 1 no free member may vote only the King determines what is right.
Description of Economy: A rural economy with some mining capabilities; the main food staples are barley, grapes, olives, sheep, and fish. It may best be described as a minimalist Socialist kingdom.
Description of Military: Like their forefathers the new Spartans send their sons to join the military at age six and train until the age of twenty in archery, marksmanship, sword and hand to hand fighting. they currently number 66,096 men
Immediate goal of the nation: To capture or build military bases to resupply on ammo and armor, To gain the ability to produce guns and ammo and to capture territory.
Brief History of nation: (How did it come about? This is where you explain how and why your nation did better than the warlords, for example.) The Dominion is the product of six bandit tribes each fighting for control over the waste land. Then Alexander Halkias , a History professor who suffered a mental break down, started preaching to the people about it was the gods doing. Alex claimed that Greece was once a great nation who ruled the known world under a demigod, Alexander the Great, He stated that he was the decedent of Alexander and that he himself was the son of Zeus. Alex then said the plague was that of his father and only through praise may they be returned to greatness. Naturally they thought he was crazy and disregarded him until he issued his challenge. He said that he could beat all six bandit leaders in brawls in the name of his father. The small and quick Alex dodged the brawlers instead making one hit another. This called for retaliation which was met with more. In the end Alex only had to knock out one beaten leader. after that the people were forced to submit and those who didn't were beaten or enslaved. Since his victory that day Alex has been worshiped as a demigod and the original pantheon of Greece was restored.

So, everything looks good here except for the military. You need to keep it at ~3% of the population, and that's on the high end. The reason I'm making your cap higher, is because your army is currently running on outdated and easy to maintain weaponry. That's about 6,000 soldiers, but more realistically you'd want it at 5,000. This is specifically referring to active military.

Reserve military, on the other hand, can be much larger. Today's Singapore, for example, has 1/5 of its population in as reserves. These, however, will be almost entirely defensive in nature.

Description of Government: The Californian Legislature is a direct inheritance, with minor reforms due to circumstance, of the state legislature under the former US Federal Government to which it considers itself one of the successor states.
Population (any modifications to the base 10% must be explained here): 3.1m (I've shaved a further 19%~ or so off the 10% number in order to compensate for post-apocalyptic things like preventable disease etc amongst the survivors)
Foreign Policy: Focused on re-opening trade and re-establishing relations with other successor states and inheritor governments.
Civil Freedoms (/10, and explain): 8/10 - Most pre-fever legislation regarding individual rights and freedoms remain in place and have largely remained unaltered - if sometimes suspended, bar still existing areas under martial law such as Los Angeles and strict border controls.
Political Freedoms (/10, and explain): 6/10 - While the Republic of California holds to the spirit of free and fair elections - and at a local level they are followed through, the continuance of a state of emergency declared at a state level during the Fever has effectively crippled any meaningful political challenges since the reformation of the state legislature.
Description of Economy: The pre-fever Californian economy was the largest of the individual states - and while now vastly reduced - California's ability, critically, to be self-sufficient both in agriculture and energy concerns serves it well - with large scope for exporting to less fortunate areas. A great deal of naval assets and air force assets have been mothballed or otherwise scrapped for usable components for future repairs, but the Republic maintains a reasonable number of aircraft, though aviation fuel refining is not quite up to spec, as well as a reasonable number of armoured and mobile assets and former US naval assets including the former USS Carl Vinson and USS Ronald Reagan, though the crew requirements mean that only one, if any, is likely to be utilized any time soon. In addition, the Republic inherited a number of facilities and active weapons relating to nuclear or other WMD projects - though not much has been done here besides securing them from misuse or other tragic consequences.

With the Government in Washington D.C. gone and communication even within California itself difficult, what remained of its state government and military came to a tentative agreement - preserve California - preserve the Union, at least in spirit.

The alliance between state government and US military forces still able to act fostered a quick resolution to the Bay Fiasco and the looting of San Diego - in particular, the speedy resolutions here were critical in efforts to restart californian agriculture and in providing open avenues of communication to much of the state - and allowed a decisive intervention against the roaming gangs and other malcontents in Los Angeles - from these efforts, though bloody - a basis of a successor state was formed and preventable deaths began to trail off. The Government, faced with the ruins of cities like Los Angeles, worn by conflict, looting and other such problems began the arduous process of burying the dead, honouring the fallen and recycling what could be recycled. Large sections of unused urban areas have been torn down and the materials - where appropriate - used for repair efforts, construction projects and other such efforts.

Since then, California has focused largely on recreating a domestic economy and dealing with incursions by bandit groups and warlords that have sprung up from time to time.
