Army: 170,000 men under the direct command of the generals and the leader of the Sultanate, the army had falling behind following the struggles of power during the middle of 17th century. Its weapons and equipments are outdated, although the army itself is fairly a disciplined troops and fairly trained. During peacetime, the army is doing the work of builders, helping civilians build the infrastructure and public works. The army is armed with arquebus for some of the troops and with muskets for the few, elite regiments of the army, but it also employs swords, spears, and bows as those three weapons still likely to be use. Siege weapons are trebuchets and outdated cannons imported from Middle East.

Navy: Its navy is not as falling behind as the army, and it possess 20 green-water ships as well as 40 brown-water ships. But it's outdated by the standard of 18th century. It mostly cannon-armed ships with some bow-and-arrow ships and boats.

Economic Strength: Mataram Sultanate flourished from its maritime trading with various merchants and foreign nations. At the same time, the agricultural sector, especially rice, is flourished as well as become the main export product to the foreign nations. Self-sufficient, but in need of imports from other nations and empires as well.

He succeeded in killing the son-in-law, but he was failed with the father-in-law and was instead got killed. Pangeran Pekik secured the throne and declared himself as the regent of the sultanate until Amangkurat I's son, Amangkurat II, was adult and ready enough.

Pangeran Pekik began to stabilize the realm, and improving the economy, at the expense of not able to modernize the military and then lessening the numbers of the military to avoid rebellions. He secured peace agreements with neighboring countries. He died during his reign, but not before brought upon peace on earth and suppressing Amangkurat I's supporters from their coup attempt. Amangkurat II rose up as the sultan and with a more deeper relation to his own sultanate and not to the VOC, partly due to Pangeran Pekik who taught him how to respect his upbringing and partly due to distrust with foreign people, he increased his military and invaded Bali, to secured them from foreign influence, at the cost of breaking peace treaty. After securing Bali on 1702, he attempted to returned to his capital, but was assassinated during the travel.

His son, Amangkurat III, rose up as the new Sultan and intend to keep it the way his father did. In the inside, Shiite Islam, although minorities, is growing and soon will be large, and must be suppressed. Hindu will be on their own way since they didn't do anything hostile, same with the Christians and Catholic, except for the missionaries.

In my China app, i kind of stated the land north of China are ruled by Sunni mongol Khanates and i was hoping for a shared border with the Tartars since i made China Shiite Muslim for the sole purpose of having a religious war with a Sunni Japan or Tatar. The way you made your land claim, you are effectively acting as a huge buffer state between me and the tartar, so can you cut it down a bit to only include Manchuria and Korea? Otherwise, my entire first chunk of the Rp will have to be dedicated to invading you which will be no fun for both of us.

Religion: The Chuch of Orange is a autonomous branch within the Catholic church which is heavily influenced by reformed views. Despite the Dutch settlers were purely protestant, after making contact with the loyalist Catholic Croatians they decided together to make a reconcilitaiton movement between the warring factions that break-up the catholic chruch. At first the Church of Orange was banded as another heretical movement but after a session of the college of cardinals it was decided to recongize the Church of Orange as a autonomous branch of the catholic church in the Commonwealth with it's head the Archcardinal who answers directly to the Pope but not fully reconginzes his authority over him as showing the measure of his independence from him.
Army:
Navy: 3 caravels, two frigates & 4 flutes. All these ships are outdated and soon will be used for firewood.
Economic Strength: The Commonwealth shows great promise to become a future economic power but unfortunately due to lack of a economic elite they lack the funds and connections that comes with them. The Commonwealth is nation of people from the middle and worker's class which means there is no class war within the nation and that is a good sign to social peace which comes by economic prosperity. There is existance of diamond & gold mines near the Zulu border which causes friction in the relations between the two nations on who will claim them eventually, there are also other diamond mines in the north but there is lack of infurstracture which makes things difficult. The state will soon have to turn itself to foreign creditors for funding not because they lack people or money but because the people themselves are content with the current state as it is.

Wow, I don't think I can keep this up. I don't know enough about the region, religion, or alt history. But here it goes:

1. The Hindus of India were quite a sedentary lot. There were no great migrations, undertaken by the HIndus, throughout the subcontinent, even after a new conquest unless the need was dire (Muslims treating them badly, destruction of their places of worship, but all that was mostly in the early days.). Not to mention, the logistics involved in an endeavour such as you say, the invasion of Persia. It would take a considerable effort to bring elephants anywhere past the Sindh and Punjab as the terrain would be most undesirable. Without the elephants, such an Indian army as we might expect, would offer no great advantage in such a foreign land, facing such a foreign army.

Well, to be fair, it's to help balance out the Christians having displaced us in the Middle East...

Also, we don't need anymore Orthodox. Traditionalism would work better: Buddism needs to survive SOMEWHERE
