Fair enough.
Mmm, I'm also wondering when Bran would be called on to do some public works and stuff, he hasn't even been called upon for that yet.

From what I've interpreted, PW work seems to mostly be on the hired people's own time and ideas instead of being commanded around, or at least that's how I've been playing it out with Willow.

Made Briggs look like a right fool, I'm told." I'll need to raise my own game to match. There's been too much confusion over the last few days to get properly organized.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Alrighty then. I'd assume John would be back for Yuna about now?

Highfort wrote:Septimus let out a sigh of relief as Neste's entrancing form retreated down the hallway for unspecified business. He thought it best not to pry - the more compartmentalized everything was, the better. If anyone was taken down, they wouldn't spoil the entire apparatus. Or so he figured, given his political experiences. Loose lips sank ships, and everyone had loose lips when they were pushed to their limits - whether pain or pleasure.
The warmth of the kiss they had just shared lingered on his lips and he pondered exactly what they were. There had been no official commencement of a relationship or any formal alteration of relationship status as was customary in the Confederation - people were hopelessly wired into the extranet and thus the premise of a "private affair" was hopeless unless one had the fortitude necessary to serve in the government's more clandestine services. On Terra, however, things seemed to progress far more fluidly and without formalities, and he found himself rather liking that.
Still, it did leave their relationship up for debate and, while he was weary and physically-exhausted, he did give it a cursory thought before turning said thoughts to a comfortable bed. Funny, it seemed like nearly a lifetime ago when he'd been spilling snot all over the apartment floor while the helpful lizard had cleaned him up and stopped him from dying. Now he was young, and the apartment felt alien once more.
A hand traced over the counter top. It was the same, but feeling it beneath fresh fingers gave it a different dimension. The same was true of the air, which he breathed in without a hitch and with a smile as he realized a filter was no longer necessary for his survival.
Sentia's absence was sorely noticed and the cyborg noted with a critical eye that her miniature bed cushion no longer held the indentation of her shape. He supposed she'd found herself a new home in the meantime - she would return as soon as word got out that he was back in the Building. She always did. And, in any case, he was glad that there was no toilet paper shortage to deal with and that the fridge and freezer had remained closed.
He figured he deserved a break for doing, at the very least, with little to go on, lukewarmly. Shedding his robes and leaving them on the bedroom carpet, he blacked out into dreamless sleep as he succumbed to tiredness and exhaustion. How the little lizard could still have time to go do whatever other work was required of her after the grueling evening that was the campaign meting, he had no idea. She was quite the miracle, in his opinion.
Awakening a little after dawn, as was natural, he spent his morning parsing through his memories and classifying them before wiping any excess data. The usual clean-up, in other words, before he began his day. Though the extended sleep he desired had eluded him, he found himself somewhat refreshed and proceeded with a light breakfast to wake himself up fully before leaving the apartment.
