Plains was pretty awesome. Saw some oil paintings by President Carter. Also, I got a yo-yo and harmonica!

And I was making Donn knotts impressions in a restaraunt bathroom to make my friends laugh, and I didn't realize that there was another person on there. I couldn't stop laughing.

Heads up on Carnival, since it came up in the IRC...

Anything done between characters will remain.

Example 1:
Nick was burned by Amanda. Amanda is a real character, even if in dragon form. Nick is going to be singed when he leaves the carnival. 2nd degree burns, IIRC?

Example 2:
Sep was smacked around by Ophelia. He won't have any marks or bruises on him when he leaves (although the memory and emotional response will remain).

If a PC has sex with an NPC/illusion/imaginary figure, no problem (except any emotional attachments formed with it, or possibly guilt).
If a PC has sex with another PC of the opposite gender, they may find out that the female is pregnant. If one partner has a disease... well, welcome to the fun world of STDs!

PCs, if very active (beyond normal) will probably leave feeling sore from all their playing around, like spending a hard, fun day at an amusement park. If they fell down and skinned their knees, they can wish themselves healed, but the knees will bleed once outside.

That's the carnival caveat.

Booze:
Toscha's tail will be healed (damaged caused by imaginary creature). However, going by how much alcohol some of the "inexperienced" teens drank in a short amount of time (and having drunk similar levels myself), I can tell you that at least two of them (Kale and Toscha) will walk out and find themselves drunk... a "staggering and puking their way home" kind of drunk.

The food and drink sold at booths is real food and drink.

For everyone who wants to use IRC on their mobile phones, if you need help setting up HoloIRC (available on Android devices) please see the steps below:

1. After installing and opening HoloIRC, you will see a plus sign inside a circle in the upper right corner. This is to add a new server to your serverlist. There's a couple of defaults already to the left that you'll see that come with the app. Click the plus sign.

2. Enter the following information:

• Server Title: The Apartment Block (this is for you, so you know which server to start up when you open the appl)
• Server URL: use whatever Esper.net server is closest to you (for California: ranger.esper.net, for Texas: chaos.esper.net, etc)
• Server Port: 6697
• Nick Names: [your IRC name to show when you log in]
• Real Name: [actual name, not sure what this does, but it never shows up]
• Username: [your user name, in case you're a mod like Swith, Tilt, or Cer]
• Password: [optional, only if you have a username]

3. Enable "Use SSL" and "Accept all SSL certificates". DO THIS OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG IN

4. Click "Auto-join channels" and click the plus button that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the new screen. Add "#TAB" to the auto-join channel list.

5. You're done! Go back to the main screen and you should see The Apartment Block added to your server list. Simply click to connect, and you'll log in automatically.

On logging out:

1. To log out from the channel but stay on the server (if, let's say, you want to log into a different channel, though that's not very relevant for Apartment Block's IRC), simply click the "Actions" button in the upper right corner of the channel and scroll down and click the "Part channel" button. This will log you off the channel.

2. To log out from the server, which is the only way to log in from any other device, swipe left and select "The Apartment Block" (you're currently in a channel if you see anyone typing away). While in the Apartment Block, you should see a bunch of links and nonsense as well as the words "End of /MOTD command". This means you're in the server, not a channel. To log out from a server, simply click "Actions" and click "Disconnect". This will log you out from the server.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have a stable connection. If you're logging on and off constantly, it might be best to disable any options you have for automatically switching between Wifi and 4G (I always use 4G to ensure a smooth connection, and it doesn't take up that much data anyways). Any switches on network or from network to roaming data will result in you being kicked off the server and forced to reconnect under a new nickanme due to your old connection not yet timing out.

He was sent there at the age of sixteen for committing the heinous crime of tearing a "Do Not Remove" tag off a mattress. Little did people know that evil scientists and corrupt law enforcers were taking the criminals (and a few innocent people, too) and performing horrible (but not that horrible) experiments to test if shampoos, and other various products, were safe. Many were not. A lot of the guinea pigs that were involved mutated and/or gained strange powers. Luckily for Alister, the guards were grossly incompetent and he had mutated and/or gained strange powers. After two long years trapped in that horrible prison, he finally escaped after punching a guard until he gave Alister the combination to the locked door. He soon escaped. This was in 1980-something. Logically, he would be 38. However, the guards were smarter than he thought and tricked him into stepping into an experimental time vortex. It caused him to go many years into the future. Luckily, he was a smart individual and soon caught on to all the technology and ways of speaking and such. He soon came to the town of Bielefeld that he had heard so little about.

IMPORTANT:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details: Alister is an escapee from a secret prison/laboratory. While being secretly tested on, he gained the abilities of shape-shifting, (weak) psychic powers, and being able to glow in the dark (for some reason). Now, he mostly reads/writes books and does (secret) science experiments as a hobby in his apartment room.

PL isn't as light as it was several threads ago. I'd like to see more depth on him, as well as a bit of believability. Who was he before the arrest? What sort of place does he hail from where removal of a tag is punishable by imprisonment and experimentation? What kind of scientist is he and what experiments does he conduct? Why does he wear a mask? What types of books does he write?

IIRC the last time, you'd post but keep the character mainly isolated, posting only sporadically. The character would need to interact more. I've culled post spam.

Yep, I'd assume he'd be able to wish himself back into a different form if he started falling back into the carnival, right?

Yep, I'd assume he'd be able to wish himself back into a different form if he started falling back into the carnival, right?

It initial shock from falling might give him sensory overload. It's why beginning skydivers sometimes struggle with opening the ripcord. Their boggled brains can't think clearly enough.
