My own project and other projects at work have kept me away. Never fear, the fennec keeps me informed. I can't count the number of times I've been awoken by cackles and squeals. I raise my bleary eyes and shout "WHAT?" to hear in reply, "Slobo said this, then Agy said that, and now someone is doing this..."

For fuck's sake, it's 2 AM, shut up Swith!

I had my revenge yesterday. We call it "Asian Market Day". If she can guess what it is, she can eat it - otherwise, it's mine and I don't share.

I bought a coconut for Swith, along with starfruit, mangosteen and something she dubbed "green melon". I thought I'd stumped her. Alas, she already experienced starfruit. She didn't know what to make of the mangosteen although she could identify it. The coconut amused her for five minutes or so, although she had no idea how to get inside it. The "melon" was unrecognizable.

The melon. Such a beautiful thing.

"NO TOUCH!"

I put it on top of the fridge, the ultimate mind fuck for someone so inquisitive. No good guesses; googling for green Asian melons and veg didn't offer anything significant.

A half hour passed. I came up from the den and found her perched on the kitchen stool like some brooding vulture awaiting the melon's untimely death. She was glaring at it and then chose to glare at me as I made tea. I couldn't take much pleasure in our habitual East vs West game, not when she was already mentally hindered by her endocrine system. I felt badly about the whole mess.

I brought it down and shook it next to her ear. "Here. Slobo and Agy will know what it is."

She didn't believe me. The "melon" didn't have "fur". She continued to frown at me until I opened it and poured out the water (she declared it "nasty") but there was little doubt remaining: it was, in fact, a young coconut.

Secondary Skill or Power: WhiteWing can speak all languages of man and bird, but only telepathically. Beaks can't really produce words. If he needs to communicate with beings that would damage his mind to speak with, he talks through Perch.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Really? Can't you see the potential dangers of not being telepathic, but speaking mind-to-mind all the time? It leaves you nearly defenseless mentally.

Character Background/Biography: Born Hatched during the times of yore, when mankind was merely an ape with an attitude, WhiteWing was raised as a warrior and gentle-erm-bird. Yeah. Gentlebird. Anyway, he grew, and gained great standing amongst his people, becoming Lord of the Raptors of South America. WhiteWing watched the civilizations of the Incas, Olmecs, Maya, and Aztecs rise and fall, and he witnessed Cortez and his fellow conquistadors landing. But he was unaffected by the troubles of men, for they were puny to him.

No, the real problems were when the Spaniards and Portuguese brought over their own people and birds and animals, who edged out the natives, keeping them from regaining the glory they'd had under WhiteWing's rule. And so, the king left, taking with him only one young human, who's name has since been forgotten. Since then, the King has wandered the Earth, searching. Searching for the meaning to his life, now that he can't be King of anything anymore.

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation: Well, he's just……… in Bielefeld. He hasn't been there before, and figured it'd be a nice place to settle for a long while. He might open a business at some point though.

Using these young, attractive men (every last one of 'em) WhiteWing has participated in the sidelines for most major historical events. In 2005, he and his aging Perch found a young, bruised boy in the woods. He told Perch a story of his abusive father and drunkard mother. WW, suitably moved by this, released Perch and took on Brendon, and they've been inseparable since.

After a little while living amongst the Native Americans, Malachi traveled to the British colonies, killing a young man named George Washington and assuming his memories and appearance. He would go on to become a general and be elected President of the United States.

Later, after his "death", Malachi wandered the world some more. He sparked wars, gave some French queen lady a bit of cake while doing an impression of her voice (caused a revolution), conjured snowstorms to chase away a goblin and his thralls from Russia (Take that, Napoleon), and other misadventures.

In time, Malachi grew bored with this nomadic life, and moved to Bielefeld, hoping to settle down, maybe even start a business. He's given up hope of returning to his home, but is trying to enjoy his life and friends now.

Malachi is an old, old fairy-man, from what's either an alternate reality or a far-away planet. His magic is fading, and he's come to Bielefeld to slow down before death's inexorable march claims his long life. He's saved up money from his centuries on Earth, and hopes to open a bookstore.

WhiteWing and Perch are approved. You'll need to wait for an available CoOP before introducing them to the setting. We're mid-event at the moment although a CoOP can work them in.

All characters arrive in the Lobby (it takes on the appearance of what they would consider most like home). There is a description on the first page under "Building". There's a front desk there where they'll find a CoOP's character. I don't know which CoOP will handle it so we won't know the character until yours rings the bell.

I can't approve Malachi. We have a CoOP running Fae (full courts, Mab etc) and they've claimed the theme; the canon they've established ties in heavily to the PL setting and will come to light at a future time.

Character Background/Biography: Velocidoctor is the result of super-soldier experiments conducted by the shadowy Raptorial government to be the perfect agent for SEPO. However, he grew a more well defined conscious than his handlers and went rogue. Velocidoctor stole a confiscated Time Vehicle from the Area 52 storage facility and began a crusade to defend the innocent and stop the tyranny spread by the Raptor Empire. He has traveled far and wide, more so than any normal raptor due to his extended lifespan, saving planets and fighting injustice wherever and whenever he found it. Despite his efforts, he knows the crafty Raptor Empire will stop at nothing to continue their conquests. He often has to correct the paradoxes created by the wonton travel of the Raptorverse, which has lead to an attitude of minimal interference with history.

Bielefeld itself is a paradox. Please don't do too much with wibbily wobbly timey wimey things; the paradox is held in check by carefully placed silken strands. It's why Minerva and her Lads have their hands tied regarding their own abilities to mess with time.

Time Lords. A sixty year old Who fan and his Gallifreyan nation had its ass handed to it by the Nifid. There's an invasion/occupation in the works and Nifid are very familiar with Time Lords and their technology, as well as the Doctor's meddling and his devices. Nifid assimilate useful knowledge and corrupt it. Wibbly wobbly became fuckity fucked once it was in their viral hands.

He'll still need to arrive at the Building and haul his couch inside (Building tech trumps attempts to suddenly appear/portal/teleport in or out) to ring the front desk bell.
