Kazuki heard noise, walking up to the river, he hadn't seen anyone but he wasn't hidden, the others could see if him. His bone rapier was at his side, he was bored, and killing monsters had gotten boring, peapos the players could be of some fun. He glanced at the water, it was strangely realistic, he still couldn't get o'er how everything felt, even after all that happened since he had first gotten his nervegear. He should go to the front lines. He was strong enough, maybe he could be helpful. He saw a group of people and his leader, he walked over,

Bzonad let himself sink to the bottom of the river and felt his body lightly hit the soft ground 'Is this real? Am I dreaming? I trust them but could it just be my mind making up emotions? I wonder if I'm even alive' Suddenly he felt a pulse in his chest, Suddenly realizing that he was drowning 'So this is what it feels like.......' Stretching out his arms he felt the rocks and the sand before resting his head against the sand 'Losing........thought......' Without realizing it his mouth opened and the water rushed in "GURGLE Gurgle....Gurgle" Looking on in horror as his air bubbles raised to the surface without him 'Must......get......to......surface' Rising from the water he slowly started to rise "UNG!!" Reaching the top he coughed out water and walked out of the water, Laying on the sand he coughed out the rest of the water in his throat "Worst........bath........ever"

Mori said quietly, the pale and shirtless boy standing over the player. Looking at him with a cool look of surprise at his complete stupidity for even considering to underestimate water and the power it holds over life and death. Mori's hair was in rough, half-folded spikes as the water dripped from it onto the ground below. This darkened the ground as the insignificant drops of water fell and were dissolved into nothingness. In a state of quiet contemplation, Mori considered tying the man up to keep him out of danger but knew this would draw the anger of the others. Dremo would have no chances with him and Mori being smart, knew this fact all too well.

Here we go again... Kaiana thought. Can't have one day to relax...and not fight... Kaiana thought on Bzonad's question. She hadn't ever had a close encounter with death in real life... She certainly had in her dreams though. Multiple times. The same way every time. She was always stuck in a glass tank, gasping for air as everyone she knew watched. They didn't try to help, didn't try to save her. They laughed and teased her.
Kaiana slid into the water, and submerged herself underneath the cold of it. The water was clear except for the white splash of the water over and against the rocks. The ice cold water felt good to Kaiana. Refreshing. Her short red hair blossomed around her head like a halo. Kaiana closed her eyes. She loved how the water continued to rush and crash above her head. She didn't have to be a part of the world for it to function. Still, she could feel the air trying to escape from her lungs. She had to go up, get air, and yet, something held her back. She could let the river carry her away, wash away the stabbing pain of everyday problems she'd have to deal with when she got back to real life. The nightmarish memories, gone. The repetitive dreams, the nightmares, dissolving as if they never were. But here...
People were waiting for her here, people that cared. Friends. People who would treat her like family. Family.
As the last whisps of air faded from her lungs, Kaiana swam up. And she knew she'd never swim back down like that again. Never that deep. Never that close to oblivion.

CRIMSON DRAGOON.

Nobuyuki awoke from his nap, feeling a bit hungry. After rummaging through his inventory, he found the last of his food and ate it. He ate it quick, wanting to move on. Rubbing his belly, he got up and started walking in search of beasts to slay for XP. For a while he walked unhindered, not a single creature in his path. It was quite odd, he thought to himself. He continued walking until he heard a girl’s scream, then realizing where all the monsters had gone in the area. Running, he moved quickly to the sound of her screams.

Upon arriving at the site, he could see why she was screaming. She was a front linesman, wielding a sword and shield while in heavy armor. Yet, her HP bar was dangerously low, which meant death was near. All around her were several Lycanthropes. Screaming, he rushed quickly into the fray. Jumping and doing a spin flip over the girl, he slashed at the top of the first beast he saw. His sword plunged deep into the creature’s pixelated skull, immediately killing it. It exploded with a little puff of light, leaving only two more beasts. “ Eight Trigrams Sixty Four Thrusts!” Nobuyuki cried out, stabbing the next one exactly 64 times with lightning quick stabs, killing it quickly. The final one jumped at him, releasing a howl as it did so. He spun and decapitated it in one single blow. Sweat dribbled down Nobuyuki’s brow but before collapsing, he managed to give the girl a health potion.

He awoke in a dimly lit room, one that looked to be the tavern of Urbus. He had a headache and so he rubbed his temples attempting some relief. He also noted that he was bare chested, showing off his finely toned body. Suddenly he stopped, realizing what had happened beforehand. Thinking to himself, he ran down the details. I saved some girl. Killed three Lycanthropes. Collapsed . He wasn’t left much time think over the details as the door had opened. Standing in the doorway was the girl he had saved, now in robes and bringing a tray of food.
She smiled and rushed in, put down the tray and hugged him. Nobuyuki gasped. He had never touched a girl before, let alone in this way. He was practically half-naked as well! “I just have to thank you for what you did for me! You saved my life!” she exclaimed. Nobuyuki simply nodded, muttering “Can you get off of me now?”. “I’m so sorry!” she said back, letting go of him only to sit on the edge of the bed. “My name is Tachigawa, but you can call me Tachi! I owe you my life. You’re my hero! What’s your name?” she exclaimed, much to Nobuyuki’s disdain. He rubbed his temples again, his headache resurging from all of the yelling. “My name is Nobuyuki..” he muttered. She rubbed her chin and stated back “Nobuyuki… Nobuyuki…Nope! Never heard of you!”. Ouch. Nobuyuki took pride in his reputation, he was known for the trading he did and the assistance he gave with the boss fights. She continued on, saying “You know, I really owe you. My friends and I all do. I had gotten separated from them and if you hadn’t of came when you did..I’d be gone.” she barely whispered. Nobuyuki nodded and then replied “Look..I really need to get going. I’m behind on my leveling..”. She immediately nodded her head no and shouted “You can’t go! My friends and I, we need someone like you and we owe you..”. Nobuyuki grunted and muttered, “Sure, got a guild you want me to join or something..?”. Tachi squeeled and jumped on Nobuyuki, hugging him tightly and kissing his cheeks. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”. He shrugged and just accepted the guild invitation that was sent to him, now making him a member of the Crimson Dragoons.

He got up and put on his shirt that was laying on the floor and said, “I suppose I have some people to go meet then?” and they both walked downstairs to where the guild would be waiting, mugs raised in celebration.

Still catching her breath, Kaiana swam to a rock along the riverside, placing her arms on top of them, and resting her chin on top of her arms. She looked to Wiking. "What happened there?" She asked with sympathy in her voice.

"No, I get what you're saying. It'd be hard, but if they tried to hurt you guys or myself, then I'd do it. I know it's easier said than done, but I'd do it." Kaiana said, taking a sip from the mug. The fruity tea was very tropical, and had a nice tangy taste to it. "Mmm, this is good!" Kaiana exclaimed.
