I would have Vriska join in on the portal summoning, but she's more... self centered in her abilities. The Thief class can only steal the aspect for the hero themselves. It's a shame too, Light is the aspect of luck and knowledge.

Probably not. You could have them meeting up with the Armies of Man already fighting the Orcs at the Gates, like a "turn of the tides" kind of thing.
