Sadly they ended it, a season or two after they ran it into the ground. I watched like a bastard, but those years are behind me.

Amusingly though, I was given all the seasons on DVD, and I still have those.

Me And Rup are developing a RP project based around mercenaries, gun fu, bullet time powers and action movie tropes.

There is still much to decide on, but we both agreed that it will feature at least one Crazy Afrikaner Merc and the land of Australia.

I've heard a lot of good things about Stargate, but I'm not really a person who watches a lot of sci-fi. Most media I've consumed from that genre is either in book or videogame format.

It's more adventure/action than what most people think of as SciFi; I'd say the majority of the show is people stumbling on to a new planet and having an adventure there, like Trek, except you actually were interested in the characters in Stargate.

It also has a fair amount of Canadians and Americans shooting advanced aliens with primitive weapons, and drop-kicking officious villains. Very satisfying.

Cons of Besiege: It's really hard to control flying machines and it needs a decent graphics card to run. Integrated cards aren't nearly good enough.

Another con; it costs money, and for a poor bugger like me, that means torrent is the automatic recourse, but for the fact that my dad doesn't want torrent software on our computers.

More manipulative than Joffrey isn't an achievement. He isn't smart enough to manipulate a pigeon into shitting on him, though that fact may well be blamed on his upbringing.

I'm looking for an RP to join that will last for more than a couple of weeks, and the OP is consistent in delivery plot and not AWOL nor takes 3 weeks to move one bit of the story along. I like apocalyptic or dark fantasy. The first few pages don't have anything that strikes my fancy; I know there's Stairway to Heaven but I'm just going to watch how it pans out first.

Is anyone thinking of making something?

Me nd Aurordeca have an idea for a RP in which both our nation start out at peace but end up going to war. I wish to get help with it before I do anything official.
Tier 1, primarily anthro nation inspired by Halo, Mass Effect, and Asian culture. NS Stats are irrelevent to The Ecumene.

Is it an essay or something? Probably the first on the subject.
