I'm not a huge fan of her music, but I'm a fan of her as a person and I'll fight people who rag on her if I have to. I call it the Sansa Stark Syndrome -- the phenomenon of becoming fiercely attached to a character or celebrity who initially was not prominent in one's life because of having to defend them from people who are wrong.

I don't hold any ill-will towards Billy Ray Cyrus or his daughter, after all (hell, I even kind of like 'my Achy breaky heart in a sense'), I just don't like the name of my home being used as some Disney-channel prop to promote a certain 'brand-name' of events.

She has already hijacked the name of my home into ratings and popularity-boosting dramatic events without such being condoned by the ACTUAL state of Montana. 'Hannah Montana' is a scourge on talented musical styling.

Well, when I google "Montana", the first two results are about the state.

After that it's mostly the restaurant, though. No pictures of teenage girls with blonde wigs, yeah?

She's an incredibly adaptable character who probably learns how to play the game more quickly than anyone else in the series and who has an inherent sense of what buttons to press, all while managing to not only maintain the sense of justness she learned from her father -- even if it took his death to drive home much of what he embodied in life -- and her fundamental goodness and niceness. Sansa Stark is a fucking gift and while she is also a little girl, she is certainly not an innocent; while she began her journey as naïve, at this point she's a formidable figure in her own right, precisely because she listens and she learns, and precisely because, due to having been thought of as naïve, she has been presented with the opportunities to learn from the best -- opportunities which she seized.

You make fair points. She's just never been one of my favourite characters, so I haven't read into her so much.

Personally, my favourite characters would have to be Arya and Daenerys.

I'm not certain how opinions have to be necessitated by being directly affected by something. If that was the case, next to no one would have an opinion, ever. I simply find the attention whoring annoying.

I used to watched SG-1 religiously. I haven't for a couple of years now, but it is quite good.
