Because the state famous for its massive production of illegal alcohol can be trusted to obey its laws concerning marriage, right?

Queensland's parliament is 44 Labor, 42 LNP, 2 Katter's Australian and 1 independent, Peter Wellington, for a total of 89. ATM, rough blocs are Labor + Wellington and LNP + Katter, but there is a Labor seat, Ferny Grove, being disputed; if this dispute ends in LNP victory, then the newly formed Labor minority government will be left to an LNP minority gov.
Basically, holy shit, Queensland is tight.
Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

I'm amazed...Australia have not stopped all non-cricket related activities.

It's quite fun having people come here from the rest of Australia (sans Tasmania, which was recently established to be irrelevant) and wonder how the bloody weather changes so fast, and why it never changes to anything particularly good.

I do lawn bowls for school sport (cue the old people jokes) and we got washed out this morning; the entire green was just a giant puddle, though it's stopped now. It's been raining a fair bit these few days.
Anyway, I doubt it'll provide too much of an advantage; Melbourne is to Australia as England is to Europe. It's quite fun having people come here from the rest of Australia (sans Tasmania, which was recently established to be irrelevant) and wonder how the bloody weather changes so fast, and why it never changes to anything particularly good.

Never-Good weather will comfort the English, filling them with even more patriotic fury to vanquishave Australia.
Also, Khan. Wikipedia says India's national sport is field hockey. What the hell?

To be fair, does anyone really give a fuck about field hockey? After all, it was basically invented when some posers were like, "Yo dude Canada's so cool" and decided to emulate us, eh, but then they realised that they didn't have enough ice to play true hockey, eh, so they figured out some lame-ass way to play it on grass.
Fans, eh?
