Nah.
I mean, I've stolen ancestral names for characters, and used some of the old family tales as inspiration to give a few of my characters a back story, but never based them on any particular person. It might just be because deep down inside, I worry their spirits are hanging out somewhere, listening to my private thoughts.

If I say Girls und Panzer but with mainly Cold War era armour (Chieftains, T-72's, Leo1's and 2's, and Centurions) does this make any sense?

The game itself is hilariously amusing, but I didn't particularly like the NS version.

Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.
