Somewhere like a 100,000+ a year? 150,000+ a year? I might be underestimating... Or overestimating. I don't know, it's probably the top 10% to 20% richest sort of folk, I can only imagine.

Whittington Hills is based on a place where I grew up and pretty much everyone there either drove a BMW, Range Rover or Mercedes.

According to the census of my town, the medium income for a family where I live is $119,874 and the price of a singe family home is $715,000.

I imagine pretty much all of the homes in Whittington Hills (like in it's real life counter part) to be made up of custom built homes. It would be realistic if the homes were somewhere between 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, with the mansions being around 15,00 square feet. Most if not all homes have pools, and some will have basketball/tennis courts.

Like I've stated before, to fit in with the look and feel of Whittington, the homes are mostly going to be Neo Classical, Colonial, Tudor, Georgian, Plantation Style, Victorian and Contemporary. A Modern or Italian/Spanish Villa style would be really out of place in my opinion.

So basically, whoever lives in Whittington better come from money or have a really good paying job ha. It's definitely an upper-class area. Being upper-middle class would barely cut it.
