Nevermind then, disregard my app. I had a 5 paragraph history written up for how and why Canada was independent and why they bought Alaska. That is why it is Alternate freakin' history! It does not have to be the same as real life! But if you guys want to have the exact same history and the exact same events then go ahead and have the most boring RP out there. The OP and me have RPed together, he know's me, if he is fine with it, then you should!

Because Britain and the US actually had grown closer after the War or 1812, and Britain didn't feel like fighting the US anymore.
