It doesn't have the stealth coating of the B-2 but its shape reduces its radar signature, making it hard to detect. It is, by 1945 standards, a stealth aircraft.

They were both real things. I'm sticking to plausible weapons and tech. The thing is, German tech was just so damn good that it looks futuristic but it actually existed.

I just checked the IC. Arvenia, that's all completely unrealistic. Leopard tanks don't exist yet, Mexico has 0 capability to make ballistic missiles, and ballistic missile submarines are far in the future. The plane is just utterly ridiculous in every aspect.
I've been trying to subtly hint before, but this is a full warning, stop godmodding. If you can't accept that, you'll need to leave this RP.

As far as I can tell, there is no conclusive evidence that this "flying wing" fighter was deliberately designed as a "stealth" fighter. The flying wing design that was chosen primarily is an aerodynamics design, focusing on increasing maneuverability and reducing drag, at the cost of reduced fixed armament (only two 20mm cannon standard) and a requirement for a somewhat "stripped down" fighter of the times.

While modern day tests have concluded that the design and materials used would have reduced the 229's signature against Britain's Chain Home system (by 30% at best), other radar systems would have been able to detect the fighter easily. If this was meant to be a stealth-orientated design from the start, then logically the construction and design would have reflected that from the start.

I never actually actually labeled it as a stealth fighter, I called it a "fast, silinet, and deadly killer." And about the British radar it would have reduced its signature by 37%, making it not invisible but harder to detect. In terms of armament, the cannons were 30mm, not 20. You are correct that the flying wing design was for aerodynamic purposes, as less surfaces meant less drag. However, this also made for a smaller radar cross section, and then add in the fact that Reimar Horten mixed charcoal dust into the coating, and it is somewhat stealthy. Nowhere near a B-2, obviously, but stealthy enough to look like a smaller aircraft; an Ho 229 would not look like a bomber on radar. I'm also planning on using the plane as a bomber rather than a fighter, as the main intent is for it to be able to deliver either a nuclear device or precision bombings using a modified version of the Fritz X guided bomb.

And NAR, why don't you develop your own assault rifle? The AK was not even designed until 1945, and events changed dramatically before then. Develop some sort of rifle, even identical to the real life AK-47, but make it completely designed and produced in America.

And NAR, why don't you develop your own assault rifle? The AK was not even designed until 1945, and events changed dramatically before then. Develop some sort of rifle, even identical to the real life AK-47, but make it completely designed and produced in America.

Buddy, I got this. The AK schematics were very early on, and will only be used a guidelines for an American Assault Rifle
