Irl yes we did, RP wise they invaded so we rebelled and threatened you so you would stay out of the conflict.

Threatening nations isn't how you get them to stay out of conflicts. Japan threatened China. It led to the First Sino-Japanese war.

Japan had 4 years to knock out the Chinese until America joined and it wasn't until 1945 when the Soviets invaded - they were preoccupied with the Germans, and didn't want a Japanese invasion from the East so they made a neutrality pact with them.

EDIT: Granted China could not have defeated Japan alone but neither could Japan defeat China

Kiev is no longer under Siege. The repulsed forces laying siege to Eastern Kiev, but forces in Western Kiev have decided to turn the siege into a battle and are entering the city to do battle.
