Short Bio: Born in the USA, Ben came to Frontier to get a job as an oil worker. All of the jobs were gone by the time he got there, so he worked odd jobs and whatnot until he heard that this guy had a massive bounty on his head. At that time, Ben was running out of money and options. He supposed that this was his best option to get at least some money, so he decided to become a bounty hunter. Armed with only a shotgun and his enthusiasm, he "rented" a dune buggy and set off to hunt this man.

It wouldn't be beyond his ability to see these other bounty hunters and buy them to make his job easier and less competitive.

The plus is it organizes this into an actual band of Misfits. The downside is will get rid of that rivalry that will result in half these characters dying in their journey to put Mister Murderer's head on a stick.

Origin: Hailing from Okinawa, Japan, Hirayasu had been raised in the shadow of martial arts throughout his childhood. Soon after he had turned 18 and earned his black belt in Shoorin Ryuu, his family relocated to the Black Planet to sell goods exclusive to Okinawa. They enjoyed years of success, mainly in selling food mixes and food crops. However, poverty struck, laws were loosened, and everyone turned on each other like ravenous dogs. Soon, no one had money to purchase Okinawan goods, and new shipments were soon canceled. Because of the violence of the land and the lack of weapons available for the poor, the Hirayasu family started a dojo to financially survive. However, this proved to be not enough, and with the demand for cheap mercenaries skyrocketing, some clan members armed themselves with their makeshift weapons and swords to go out and defend the weak against the strong. Takashi, the youngest son, saw the bounty for the runaway, and vowed to bring fame, fortune, and honor to his family.
Transportation:

Hirayasu PMC Technical, armed with an electric laser cannon. Steel spikes and plating cover the windshield and windows, providing more protection to the front. Electronic cameras observe the surrounding terrain and codes the images to an Oculus-rift like helmet worn by the pilot.
Adapted from transportation lifts from the Hirayasu clan's former business, it is the workhorse of the PMC world. The small size of the vehicle and the burden it is able to handle allows it to carry mercenaries and supplies speedily.
Gear:
A steel pot protects Takashi's crown, preventing concussions from flying debris. Over the helmet lies a large scarf that envelopes his head, hiding his identity and helmet. Prescription goggles protects his eyesight and enhances it. A plate carrier holds two steel plates to protect his torso from rifle fire, and cooling pads are sewn in to evaporate sweat and prevent heat exhaustion. A camelback pouch is clipped on the carrier and feeds into Hirayasu's head scarf. His baggy oil worker's fatigues provide comfort and shelter from the harsh climate, but they are recolored to fit into the wasteland's dusty hue. On his back is a pack laden with rations, electronics, medical supplies, a bible, and a pillow for those long days away from the technical. At his hips lay two scabbards for his sai. Rough gloves provide a strong grip, while cushioning around the joints further the comfort administered by the fatigues. Grenade pouches store Molotov cocktails. In addition to what he carries on him, his vehicle carries more equipment, such as a generator, clothes, fuel, and money.

Hirayasu wields the PEWx10 (Police Energy Weapon 10mm) laser carbine. Originally introduced during the Alpha Centaurian conflict, it performed poorly against the white ceramic armor worn by Imperial stormtroopers. It was soon replaced by more effective kinetic weapons, costing Smickler & Wessingkoch Arms twenty two billion credits. Because of the large amount of carbines they had, they sold the weapons in the public market, making it one of the most common military surplus weapons in the Milky Way. The weapon is very effective against darkly colored materials and unarmored enemies and possesses no recoil due to it being a laser weapon. However, it performs poorly against lightly colored structures, reflective materials, and ceramic armor. The battery holds a maximum of 40 lethal shots, which is expended at a burst rate of 600 lethal shots per minute. However, the weapon can fire in a continuous beam for 1.4 seconds before depleting, allowing the user to hastily chop off limbs within the comfort of range.
An adjustable electronic dot sight allows Hirayasu to observe his surroundings from a long distance, allowing him to snipe enemies given the right conditions (clear air, at night). The sight can be switched to examine the terrain in night, thermal, and infrared vision. However, the weapon is weak by energy weapon standards, and sniping from to far will just make laser a minor nuisance. Interestingly, the weapon sight costed more than the carbine even when bought from a military surplus store.

Moral Alignment: Neutral. Takashi is a warrior and can readily take away lives with ease, being numbed to killing others after a raid by bandits. However, Hirayasu is a faithful practitioner to both Okinawan religion and a loose strain of Catholicism. He does not regard killing bandits and other sinners as murder, but as God's work.

Though they are few and far between. She is also a heavy smoker and drinker, and is is the most blunt, and foul-mouthed between the two.

They're supposed to be bounty hunters, not walking armies/tanks.

Though my character is an ex-military and is a team leader of a group of bounty hunters, so there might be a skill difference.
