Both. Providence is a settlement IN Baton Rouge, but it isn't Baton Rouge. Same with Rat City and New Orleans.

The Enclave uses the pre-war names, because those are the names on their maps.

Thank you. And yes but that depends on what the situation is. I'd be happy to hear your ideas via TG.

Don't you want a team? We have a makeshift team of a slave trader acting as a regular trader, a regulator and a local hunter in Northern Louisiana.

Sorry for my posting absence, I'll try to post tomorrow.

Also, anybody want to team up with Sawbones? He is essentially a companion robot who has little to do other than kill communists and heal people.

Just have him stroll trough a street near Baton Rouge. Gunny'll find him.

Yes, its possible. You are gonna need friends though if you intend to do so alone.

Hey, Elerian, can you answer this question for me?

Neo-Chicago wrote:I've given up on the Skysavager. Here's a new creature I want your opinion on:

#animal
Name of animal: Muckdweller
Submitted by: Neo-Chicago

Where does it live?: Louisiana, South of Baton Rouge. Concentrated heavily around Scout Island, the ruins of Sorrento, Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Plant, and the heavily polluted and irradiated ruins of Garyville.
Is it dangerous?: Yes, although staying away from heavily concentrated areas helps. There’s usually always at least one or two in the vicinity of you south of Baton Rouge, though.
Is it Carnivorous?: Yes.

Describe the animal and any unusual traits or abilities it has: The Muckdweller has evolved to perfectly fit the irradiated swamps of Louisiana. They’re thought to have originated from somewhere around Kilona, probably the nuclear power plant that’s in the area. All expeditions to the plant have provided inconclusive results, as most that have dared to explore it have either gone missing or have completely lost their minds, probably due to whatever it was they saw in the plant. Regardless of its origins, the Muckdweller is a hulking mass, cloaked in a tangled mass of vines and other swamp foliage. Although slow, these creatures are incredibly deadly, snapping a person in half with ease. They appear to use chunks of earth as a sort of armor, however it only makes them resistant to regular bullets. Muckdwellers are weak to fire, and combust with relative ease. Felling them with a laser rifle is possible, though most kills this way are usually a result of the plants tangled around it catching fire.
Their skin is somewhat resistant to normal bullets as well. The strategy of a Muckdweller is often to conceal itself, as the texture of its legs combined with the vines and plants covering in it make it possible for it to disguise as a tree. It is incredibly adept at silence on swamped terrain, but will not be likely to follow onto a road unless it has already been sighted. Muckdwellers are completely immune to radiation and other forms of pollution, as they were born from a swamp already heavily polluted. Not much else is known about the beast, except for the fact that it prefers to hunt during the night, but will attack any creatures it feels are intruding on its land, to protect its young.

Here's the revised Gutter, as well:

#animal
Name of animal: Gutter
Submitted by: Neo-Chicago

Where does it live?: Audubon Swampland, Mississippi River around the Chapel Bend
Is it dangerous?: Extremely so.
Is it Carnivorous?: Yes.

Describe the animal and any unusual traits or abilities it has: The Gutter, as it's now called after the butchering of its original name, the Gator, is a river creature known for its speed and jaw strength. If touched, the spines that cover it will pierce the skin, and the one that touched it will die within an hour, as Gutter Poison is one of the most fast-acting known to man. There is no known cure, and it is known to follow poisoned victims and feast on their remains, eating humans whole. However, the venom appears to be linked to its cardiovascular system, as when drained of blood, no adverse effects occur upon contact. The creature has a lower jaw that extends farther, as its mouth is incapable of housing its four center teeth, the middle two which extend over half a foot. These teeth are primarily used as cutting instruments, and natives will often remove them to use for knives and blades. The gutter is also a land animal, and has feet with a rough circumference of one foot, somewhat ironically. It is built like a tank, and an odd feature of it is the fact that it can retract or protract its legs, two a maximum length of two feet. It is also capable of turning its head completely, however not around; rather, sideways, so it is essentially capable of inverting its head and vision. These are often mistaken for mangled corpses, and those who mistake it for that die fairly quickly.

Nationstates Name: Zevretin

Faction name: Lower Louis Conquadors (OOC: Spelled wrong for IC reasons)

Faction Leader: (You have to also have an application for the leader if you want to be accepted) Cesare Cisneros

Faction numbers: (What quality of troops do you have? how many civilians, and no more than 200 members) The Lower Louis Conquadors are a militaristic, hierarchical society of the descendants of rather devoted reenactors from before the Great War, donning the replicated armor of the Spanish and Portugese Conquistadors of old. Because of this, they are rather low in number, seeing as they wish to maintain not only the "pure" bloodline of their ancestors but also so they do not run out of armor and weapons. The entirety of the faction numbers to around 123, women and children included. The men are all soldiers, and are drilled heavily in the ways of Spanish culture and military strategy circa 15-1600. Likewise, the women adopt the roles of caregivers and homemakers as per the era, and are often seen alongside their children (toddlers to teenagers) gathering food and supplies needed to maintain their home fort. In order to maintain some semblance of an economy, women and men deemed unfit for service will often trade excess supplies looted from the Conquadors' raids.

Faction Bio: At the outbreak of the Great War, the Spanish-American New World Colonial Re-enactment Association (SPANWC) was in the prime of one of its yearly events just outside of the town of New Iberia. To the disdain of Association head John Paul Cisneros, around half of the group dropped everything and ran for their Chrysluses in a scrum of paranoia. Cisneros, determined to finish the event he had worked so hard to raise funds for, continued the half-hearted performance until, at last, the native actors he was fighting against retreated themselves...and not for historical purposes. Unfortunately, Cisneros himself was killed in the blast, but his family had managed to barricade themselves within the confines of their basement fallout shelter. Within the span of two hours, SPANWC and the rest of the world came and went in the embrace of the nuclear holocaust. Those left, along with their wives and children, re-united at the warehouse in which the Association was based; deeming one another the most trustworthy in comparison to their surviving, crazed neighbors. Due to their neighbors' decline in ethics, the remnants of SPANWC took it upon themselves to don their armor and brandish their weapons against those who would otherwise seek to have them killed and looted like savages. From then on, and over several generations, SPANWC (or "conquadors" as the later lines called it) developed into a well-trained warrior society driven for conquest and the taming of the wild lands known as Louisiana.

Starting Location: New Iberia, Louisiana

Goals: Expand beyond New Iberia, achieve armor manufacturing capabilities, end tribal presence within Louisiana

I can't tell that you revised it in the slightest, cause you didn't change anything I asked you to, not to mention that SaintB already told you what you needed to do. In case you need a refresher, I said lose the poison, and or the spikes, and then it'd be fine.

Elerian, this looks awesome. That being said:

I know there's already a Saints faction, but can I make a faction with a renegade Saint who's still a descendant of the Saints?

Because I REALLY want to make a character based off Malcolm Jenkins. Because Malcolm Jenkins. XD

He used to be a Saint, so that's why. Plus he was one of my favorite players, when he was a Saint. Besides Pierre Thomas and Drew Brees, of course.
Anyway, the point is when my character's father (Malcolm Jenkins) last saw him (my character), he told him to go to New Orleans. Why? To retake and rebuild Louisiana, starting with New Orleans. He's started a team, and the rest will be in my faction bio, when I get time to make one.

That being said, should I make a character bio or a faction bio first?

Oh, never-mind then. However, the Malcolm Jenkins we're talking about can't be your father. He'd be long dead since this is the year 2277, and this is alternate history from modern day in case you weren't aware.

Character app.
