To briefly reply to the Systems Alliance

Postby Penguindia » Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:30 pm

Kaesus continued to stare and listen to the man, however, his offer slightly offended him, despite his sweet and nice way of putting it. He commented, "Look, you're offer, as nice as it is, seems great, but there is a flaw in it, what do I get in return for handing you over PRIVATE INFORMATION? You don't honestly think I just give my things away to and fro now do I?" He sits up, a bit frustrated at the man's attempt to coax him into handing over sensitive information! He leaned back in, closer to the prime minister "look, I am a man of business, not kindness, so, may I suggest you make an offer for it..."

The Corporate-Imperial Empire of Saer Kalo

Profits now were raining in. The snowball now up the hill was going down a slight slope. However infrastructural and defense were now the empire's goals. Many of the worlds were still in adequately defended with only weak defense guns. The two jewels in the empire, Chalkhos and Selvos were surprisingly weak. So work was to be done on both planets. Chalkhos would be getting upgraded sensor stations to help pinpoint any enemy vessels and guide the defense systems. A new urban block was also going to be added which would basically turn this once rural jungle plant that mainly produced drugs to a huge city planet that still produced massive amounts of drugs but now industrial and luxury items. Selvos was also getting a similar design of ground defense systems to Chalkhos but slightly altered to make any attackers who attacked Chalkhos slightly delayed when attacking Selvos.

Militarily wasn't going bad either. Selvos as it grew was becoming a quick industrial power house but not to the level of it's sister planet. But 3 new dreadnoughts would be ordered on the planet any way because of the lack of space on Chalkhos. Any things the dreadnoughts did not use would be given to the army where in support with defenses and the navy would turn more into a orbital defense network with only two Marine units being built for the stations around the gas giants and Selvos. The last remaining credits would be used somehow by the corporations as they sure loved the scraps the Empire gave them.

-500 Lvl. 3 Sensor Station (Chalkhos)
-100 Urban Area (Chalkhos)
-300 Lvl 4 Ground Defenses (Selvos)

-60 6 Anti-Orbital Missile Units (Selvos) 2 Months)
-24 2 Marine Division (Chalkos) (3 months)

Arcturus STATION
Diplomatic Meeting with the Volus Protectorate

The Parliamentarians exchanged glances with grins, obviously amused by the anger shown by the Volus Diplomat. This wasn't the first time that a Diplomat had gotten angry at Parliament for little reason. The Batarians, the Krogan, and now the Volus. They were very stubborn, much more so than the Citadel Races. A Parliamentarian stood up in his suit. An older gentleman, in his mid to late 70s, who spoke in a German Accent, spoke.

"My good sir, two hundred und fifty credits is already quite a deal. Vhat can ve gain from a mere sweihundert credits?"

Arcturus Station
Prime Minister-Primarch Meeting

The Prime Minister kept a face of calmness, for he didn't understand why the Primarch was being so aggressive and defensive. He cleared his throat and leaned foreword a bit, revealing Alliance Medals in his shirt. The most prestigious awards given by the Alliance Navy.

"Mr. Primarch, your aggressiveness is not needed, nor wanted. I suggest you calm down. Thank you. Now, the Reapers and Collectors are a threat to the entire Galaxy, and we need as much information on them as possible to be able to piece together the epidemic soon to come, and find a way to prevent. Mr. Primarch, the time of war is upon us, and we can no longer let old wounds fester. I fought in the First Contact War, saw the bloodshed between Humans and Turians, but I am here now trying to work out peace". The Prime Minister leaned foreword. "We cannot afford to be distrustful, but if we must, we shall merge our information on the Reapers and Collectors and work together"

Pafna Dur glared darkly though his mask as he watched the apes exchange amused grins and giggles. There was no respect here at all,the Alliance just showed its ugly supremest views above the Protectorate. He then swiftly turned his gaze to the funny sounding human.

"First off,it will show that you'll honor your deals with other races. Second,it will prove your not some mere swindlers and lastly that it will show how respectful you are to other diplomats."he said and gave the humans a few quick seconds to think about what he said.

This was certainly the last deal the Volus will ever make with these swindlers."The 200 credits are just a click away from entering your treasury Alliance! ".

The Human from America spoke up again, and though he was young, his voice carried. "Is this how we treat guests of the Alliance? Friends of Humanity? You are spitting on the very Diplomacy we count on to keep peace in this damn Galaxy. Keep your word, Parliament has gone back on it too many times before". The member turned back to the Volus Diplomat. "Sir, you're offer of 200 is accepted by me, and by every other member in this room. I apologize for the ignorance of my colleagues"

Citadel Embassy

It was something to see that the AI known as Channel 1 was already getting more powerful via processing speed that the computer started to try and make its software more versatile till it was an entity of its own awareness that was better then most AI that were formed on accident. It wanted to try and become much better and started to multitask its own system. Fitting into several different bodies that were made from MECHs and allowed it to work on trying to on improving control of other VI and AI. A better frame was constructed for the use of transport and mobile defense when the software was out in about.

It currently was going to the Citadel because the " allies" of it had finally acquired something it actually wanted to further its plans. A blueprint of a Geth frame. While the idea of a networked AI such as the Geth was impossible to Channel 1. The frame was different as it can be used for different uses and since the upending doom of the Geth was coming soon, then it seemed that the Geth Frame would be of more uses then even Channel 1 had conceived.

The AI infiltrated Citadel with some ease as its training as an infiltrator and hoping to map out more of the tunnel system for the case of entering again. After it had traveled to the Citadel Embassy headquarters of the " allies" inside man. A series of questions were made and an exchange of credits was paid with the blueprints downloaded into the primary super computer. Once it was done, the frame left the Citadel and went to Anhur to start with its next part of is plan.

- 600 credits for Geth frame Blue Prints.

Kaesus was slightly appalled at the seemingly nice minister's response, up to that point, he got up from the table, and crossed his arms in disappointment, "Well, that's definitely not going to let me hand over my secret information to you. Look, all I want is an offer for it, I mean, it obviously has some major importance to you, we will help you...for say, credits? in return, you will have your information, and we can work together, sound fair?"

Meanwhile, some purchases were made. but it was only destroyers...why? the galaxy may never know

Batarian Space

One by one, the Hand of Athame were quietly intercepted by the intelligence services at the border. Although their initial contact garnered no response from the regime (for security reasons, of course – having evidence of the central government having anything to do with the dreadnought project could be deeply dangerous diplomatically) and passed by without remark from any of the higher-ups, the Hand were slowly gathered together over the ensuing weeks. When all were accounted for, they were gathered together and dispatched to Aratoht, site of the shipyards which would make the Republics great.

The Asari were, after several security procedures to make sure that all of the promised individuals were present, shown into a rather Spartan room in a small orbital over the superheated garden world. Disguised as one of the innumerable algae plants that slowly and painstakingly changed the world itself, its real purpose was mainly to contain the Hand and provide its members with quarters and work stations until the dreadnoughts were completed. The room itself was bare, with a few benches bolted to the floor and a single Hegemony flag draped across the back wall.

After a short wait, a masked Batarian entered the room from a door seamlessly inset into the wall. He wore a simple and unmarked SIU uniform with no rank pins or indicators, and had a regulation sidearm holstered at his waist. As far as being unidentifiable went, he took the cake. Standing at attention in front of the assorted semi-renegade Asari, he waited for their silence before unleashing his slightly grating voice.

“You are the Hand of Athame, loyal servants of your Goddess and carriers of true religious belief. Yet you are also the personal retinue of the Matriarch Nyxemi, an individual who we as a nation and a species are immensely indebted to. The Hegemony respects both of these things. Now. To work.

You know why you are here. In order to pay our immense debts to the Matriarch, elements within the government of the nation agreed to construct a fleet of dreadnoughts in secret for the Asari fleet. Using designs for a class which was cancelled in favour of an immense economic stimulus plan, the Batarian state laboured in secret using shipyards that most do not know of and economic resources which most have never heard of. We built these ships with the understanding that when the time comes, you, the Hand, will command them and go forth to the greater destiny your leader has in store for you.

As of this moment, the basic hulls and most of the internal structures are finished. Now begins the long and arduous process of fitting the mighty ships, of putting into place the fine arrangements of magnets that power the spinal cannons and of formatting the VIs to act as they should. This is where the scientists among you will step in. You will increase the efficiency of our processes and bring the best technological know-how in the Republics and the galaxy to the service of our construction.

The soldiers among you will be burdened with a still more glorious purpose. For once these ships have been completed, you will command them. It will be you who flies them to victory against Turian oppression, Salarian meddling, Human arrogance, and Terminus degeneracy. It will be you who bears forth the banner of faith and fury to victory against heresy and passivity. It will be you who will form the vanguard of the new galactic order from the helms of its single largest concentration of firepower.

For the next four months, you will be patient. You will advise, you will work, and you will wait. But once you complete your tasks and the fleet of the Hand is complete, then you will carry out the will of the Matriarch and reach eternal glory.”

The masked Batarian bowed once, then turned and left. The Hand had work to do.

The Prime Minister gave the Turian Primarch a look of annoyance, typing something into his computer, then looking back up at the Primarch. Office of Dalatrass Linron| Sur'Kesh - Capital World of the Salarian Union

Office of Dalatrass Linron - 4:00pm - Local Time

The Salarian Union...the oddball race of the Citadel Council races within the galaxy. Known throughout the galaxy for their espionage and intel gathering, along with having the shortest lifespans of any major galactic race and being accused of having little to no humor and being socially lacking n comparison to the other races, it came as no surprise that the galaxy had always looked at the Salarian Union and Salarians in general as the bastard child of the galaxy. From creating the Genophase to effectively wipe out the Krogan race over a slow and painful process of thousands of years to the heroic actions of STG Major Kirrahe on Virmire in efforts of stopping the rouge Spectre Saren, the Salarians had managed to impress, piss off and save the galaxy throughout their long history. However, even with all of that baggage, no-one could dispute the undeniable fact that, save for possibly the Shadow Broker, no one was better at tracking intel or conducting espionage then the Salarians were. They knew everything, from what war exercises the Turians were conducting on the moons of Palaven to what the Asari Matriarchs were discussing on Thessia to want Alliance Marines were listening to at a base somewhere on Earth, the Salarians knew if and when a war was going to happen and how to stop it. That is how they always managed to stay ahead of everyone else, with information and stealth. No one thought they didn't know anything or everything, even the Salarians....

...Until today.

In the offices of the Salarian Dalatrass, Dalatrass Linron was just beginning a joint session with STG Command and with senior members of the Salarian Union as a whole to discuss recent events within the larger, galactic political landscape that had been brewing. Always on the forefront of gathering information on both their enemies and their allies alike, the Dalatrass wanted to discuss a plan to move forward with extended cooperation with the rest of the Council races. However, just after the meeting had begun, a large explosion tore through the main governmental complex, killing the Dalatrass and everyone else inside. At the same time, all across Sur'Kesh, similar sights of explosions were taking place at governmental and STG facilities in a coordinated attack. What seemed to happen in a matter of a few minutes, what was left was a wide range of destruction across all of Sur'Kesh, effectively disabling the Salarian Union to a standstill.

For the first time in their long history...the Salarians were left out in the dark of their enemy.

Salarian 1st Fleet| Sur'Kesh Orbit - Capital World of the Salarian Union

Image

Salarian 1st Fleet- 4:00pm - Local Time

As the events around Sur'Kesh were responding, in the orbit and space around Sur'Kesh and in the Pranas System, the Salarian 1st Fleet was hit just as hard by a fast and coordinated strike fleet of unknown origin. Having the bulk of their fleet forces either assigned to the Citadel or patrolling the rest of Salarian space, the 1st Fleet was caught completely off guard from the attack, resulting in the lost or severe damage of one dreadnought, three cruisers, two destroyers, five frigates, two carriers, and damages to their entire outer-system defense network and communications array. Just as fast at the attack happen, the unknown fleet had vanished without a trace. Crippled and wounded, the orbit around Sur'Kesh seemed to be a floating pile of death and destruction not seen since the Battle of the Citadel several years prior.

Office of Councillor Valern | Citadel - Heart of Citadel Space

Image

Office of Councillor Valern - 8:00pm - Local Time

The last several hours for Councillor Valern had been nothing short of hell for the Salarian, as now he was the sole authority for the entire Salarian Union. When news first came in over the news and to the Citadel outlining the terrorist attacks throughout Sur'Kesh, with highlighting that Dalatrass Linron and the majority of the Salarian Union's government body had been killed, along with the command structure of the STG, Valern had briefly went into shock and pissed himself in-front of the rest of the Citadel Council before heading to the Salarian embassies for protection and to sort this mess out. Even with his service in the STG, nothing could prepare him, or anyone for that matter, for the events that transpired. Thousands dead, STG Command effectively wiped out, Sur'Kesh vulnerable and it's main fleet disabled, intelligence lost and suggesting that it was their allies that conspired this attack against the Salarian Union, Councillor Valern and his staff couldn't believe half the reports that were coming into the Embassy, as it seemed unreal. How could this happen to the Council race who's main weapon was information and espionage? It seemed impossible, but the Salarians had lost at their own game, and they lost badly.

With a desperate situation presented to him, Councillor Valern felt their was no choice but to respond directly to his allies and to the rest of the Citadel Council with what was presented to him. Reaching for his datapad, Councillor Valern wrote the following message out addressed to all major factions within the galaxy:

Code: Select all
Address to Members of the Citadel Council Races and Salarian Allies,

As many of you have been made aware of by now, at 4:00pm this afternoon, local time, a highly sophisticated and coordinated string of terrorist attacks were conducted around Sur'Kesh and its' surrounding orbit. We are still getting reports in every minute, but thousands have died and tens of thousands more injured as a result of these attacks. What is worse, along with the loss of Dalatrass Linron and the majority of the ruling body of the Salarian Union, STG Central Command has effectively been wiped out and the Salarian 1st Fleet crippled, along with our defenses. What is worse that in the midst of the chaos, STG records have been tampered with, along with Spectre systems and the Citadel's Counter-Intelligence wing.

To keep in blunt, the Citadel's main line of counterintelligence, espionage and source gathering as been disabled for the time being, leaving not only the Salarian Union but the entire Citadel Council blind. What's worse, the surviving units of STG Central Command have concluded that their may be more attacks to come in the near future, targeted at the Council races. We do not know who this enemy is or why they conducted this attack, but we do know, based on intel gathered since the attacks, that traces of the code used to disable our long-range sensors and get passed our network defenses have been traced back to the networks of every Citadel Council race. Now, I am not accusing anyone of the Citadel Council governments launching this attack against the Salarian Union, but given the intel we have gathered, I cannot afford to take any chances till this crisis is resolved.

Until further notice, due to the sensitivity of the situation for the Salarian Union as a whole, until this crisis can be resolved, I am effectively closing off all travel to Sur'Kesh to all Council and non-council races until we can be assured that our defenses are in check and that no more breaches will occur. Furthermore, all Salarian forces in Council space, including our peacekeeping force stationed here at the Citadel with the rest of the Citadel Fleet, are being recalled to Sur'Kesh until further notice, effective immediately. I understand that this will put a strain on the Council's responsibilities of maintaining peace, but given the situation, I cannot risk further attacks and loosing more assets for my people.

I will be at Sur'Kesh till STG is back to operational capacity and that the Salarian Union Provisional Government can elect a new Dalatrass, as I feel it would be much more secured for me to be at Sur'Kesh to manage the Salarian Union and not from the Citadel, away from my people. As such, all communications for me in reference to Council business will need to be made through the Salarian Embassy or conveyed to me directly, as I still plan on representing the Salarian Union as its' Citadel Councillor from Sur'Kesh.

I ask that you all respect my wishes, as I speak for the Salarian Union and for her people. Until we can be assured that an incident like this will not happen again, I cannot take any risks or chances with even our allies.

If needed, please reach out to the Salarian Embassy and they will contact me directly.

Councillor Valern

Sending out the message over a secured line to the various representatives of the Citadel Council and allies, Councillor Valern proceeded to puke once again as his nerves were rattled beyond belief with the events that had transpired today on Sur'Kesh. With himself being the sole leader of the Salarian Union at the moment and with so many questions left unanswered, Valern found it upon himself that his people needed him at home now to get through this mess and try to find out why this attack happened. Cleaning himself up, Valern informed the embassy staff to continue communication with him on all Council matters until he returned and to keep the embassy closed to all races, with the exception of the other Citadel Councillors for Council business. Closing his office, Councillor Valern bid his final farewells to the embassy staff before making his way to an awaiting shuttle to take him to the Salarian Citadel Peacekeeping Fleet before making the trip back to Sur'Kesh.

Salarian Citadel Peacekeeping Fleet

Having arrived safely on board the flagship of the Salarian Citadel Peacekeeping Fleet, Councillor Valern informed the commanding officer to have the fleet make a direct course back to Sur'Kesh to rendezvous with the rest of the Salarian Union forces already heading there. With the Salarian portion of the Citadel Peacekeeping Fleet made up mostly of advanced stealth and reconnaissance frigates and cruisers, and several of the new Sur'Kesh Class Stealth Dreadnoughts, the Citadel would be losing a significant portion of firepower and their primary source of counterintelligence and spying fleet, but as Valern saw it, he needed every Salarian asset back at Sur'Kesh to keep his people safe. Looking out of the bridge windows of the dreadnought as the fleet approached the Mass Relay, Valern sighed before he spoke once more as the fleet jumped into FTL. "I sincerely hope that these actions do not lead to war or worse, as I fear that there is a larger force at play that may still drive the galaxy into darkness and turn allies against one another. I sincerely hope I am wrong in this assumption."

OOC: Yes, I know this is a long post, but that is how I operate. I promise that future posts will be more concise and orientated to what is going on in the galaxy, but I needed a way to get into this RP. Also, future posts that involve my fleets will have attached numbers to give everyone an idea of were my fleets are moving to and what their sizes are.

If you are responding to me, please be aware that until I make notice otherwise, Councillor Valern is at Sur'Kesh and not at the Citadel.

Volus Protectorate||Irune,Lenos||Prim-minister Bofnan Can

Prim-minister Bofnan Can was very please in his current events that were happening for his species. Their colonies were wrecking in tons of cash and 6 new Dreadnoughts were also being built witch were bought with most of the money coming out of the little foreign aid his government received from the Salarain professors on Sur'Kesh. The Volus were steadily increasing their power one step at a time, and these Dreads would certainly be a good stepping stone and basis for the future 8 Bombardment Fleets.

With Patavig also now under Volus jurisdiction, colonial chips where immediately dispatched from Irune to turn this small ammonia oasis into a Volus paradise. He also had his envy for the Allaince to stay on Alliance station in case of any future ventures were needed and to keep them in arms lengths at all times.

The recent terror strikes on Sur'Kesh was the only worrying thing that has happen so far this month, from the donation that gave to his bombardment fleets, the Salarian people were the biggest supporters for the Volus finally getting a seat on the Council witch really meant nothing right now because most Council races were more or less acting independently. A quick note was dispatched to show their concern for their allies.

Greetings Sur'Kesh-Clan,on the behalf of the Volus people,we express our deepest sympathies towards your people. We hope that you'll fight though these terroristic attacks on your bases. If there is anything that we can provide for you ,well gladly try and help the best we can .

On another note,we wish to extend a warm welcoming hand for you to join VIFTA. We hope this will be a great start for a new beneficial friendship between are two species.

Fleet Admiral Athis T'avis
Grand Illium Fleet, Classified Space

Fleet Admiral Athis made the final call. "Grand Fleet, report in." Ship names began appearing. She was quickly organizing them into strike groups. There would be the primary fleet, a heavy strike group and then a light strike group. This would help coordinate with the Quarians when they reached the combat zone. She sent a message to the Quarian High Command.

To: Quarian High Command
From: Fleet Admiral Athis T'avis

The Grand Illium Fleet is standing by to aid in your War to Reclaim Rannoch. Our fleet composition is laid out in this message. We will support your attacks on Geth Ships to allow for your special forces to enact the planned assault on the surface. My fleet awaits your word to begin our journey to the Veil.

Primary Group :
2 Dreadnoughts (Silaris Armor, Thanix Cannons)
2 Dreadnoughts
2 Battlegroup Carriers (Total 6 Fighters, 2 Interceptors)

"They're doing it." Xen breathed out as she skimmed over the message. "They're actually helping us for once, the crazy Bosh'tets."

"So they've sent you the order of battle for their fleets?" Zav'Lorin stomped his foot impatiently. "Right about time."

"We waited 300 years for this chance. I'm sure a few more hours won't matter."

Zav'Lorin mumbled something in disagreement, but Xen ignored him.

"Anyway, I'm forwarding our war plan to the Triarchy as we speak. Their fleet has been split into 3 main groups; the Primary Group will be accompanying the Migrant Fleet in a direct strike at Rannoch. Their Heavy Fleet shall launch a diversionary strike towards the Ma'at system while the Light Fleet shall cover our retreat and act as a covering force as we move through the Far Rim."

"To your ships, Admirals. We have a homeworld to liberate."

Fleet Admiral Athis T'avis,

Your assistance is much appreciated. Your Primary Fleet is to accompany the Migrant Fleet in the assault on Rannoch. The Heavy Fleet should launch a diversionary assault on the Ma'at system to draw away Geth processing power while the Light Fleet should act as a cover force as we move through the Far Rim.

It would be highly appreciated if Geth ships were disabled rather than destroyed, as ships acquire more Geth programs the more ships are destroyed, and thus gain superior targeting for every one of their ships that is damaged enough for their relocation protocols to fire. The main objective is not the destruction of the Geth Fleet; it is the insertion of ground forces onto Rannoch itself.

The Migrant Fleet is currently moving to the Typhon System in the Phoenix Massing. Rendezvous with us there for the assault.

Near Klensal, Dis System, Hades Gamma
The Oracle of Laz,
Krestin-class transport

I walk around the vessel. Still trying to get my place in this new age I have been put in. Humanity has expanded so far in the galaxy in such a short time. Yet, I feel a sense of being short-handed because of the ambition of the Alliance. Even though I try to contemplate it, the trade off was practical. " Master, I can hear your thoughts. Is there something burdening you?" My servant and programmer, Shiv, crawled on its centipede-like frame to me.

I still ask it why Shiv turned into something like that. It never gives me the answers I want, only assures me that times have changed. I clearly know that times have changed. I just wish it was the same friend I built long ago, which was near sixty or seventy years ago. " No Shiv, just thinking openly. I didn't mean to openly broadcast that in the ship." It was started to crawl around me in a coil and started to scan me," hold still master." It only took a few minutes and I felt some changes from my nanobots inside me. " There master, you can think without having someone else hear your thoughts. Though, you can always talk to me like in the past."

I wander if Shiv wanted to bring back the days of nostalgia or to make my culture shock more smooth. I still don't know the AI that has been with me and helping me. I even wander if Shiv is Jasper at all or some program that was replicated from Jasper. " No, I am alright. I still need more time to accept this new role. Speaking of which, the new income has come from our assets haven't they?" Shiv started to uncoil from me and move to the center of the bridge. I walked with it and saw the connection between the ship and the VI who have taken upon themselves to work for the Network.

" Yes master, the assets have collected the riches into our private bank accounts. It is a poultry sum compared to your company of old, but it is a start." I view the planet's surface and saw a lot of abandoned mines that littered the surface of the planet." Please Shiv, don't bring back more of the dead. Though you are right. It is a poultry sum when it comes to income, but that has its uses. For example, the planet's surface has been repeatedly opened by mining attempts.

We can use most of the money and research to program submissive VI to reopen the mines and automate them like the rest. It will feed our constant need for resources and monetary gains." Shiv started to pull up the bank account for Babylon Restorative Services and shown that we will have some left over credits. " Leave them, I will probably need it for my Emergency Rainy Day Fund." Shiv nodded and went on with the next subject," what about our new program algorithms in our hacking code?"

I gave it a thought then remembered a rumor from pirates that wanted their ship restored long ago. I then called up the AI that called itself the Oracle of Laz, which was short for Lazlo. The ship hummed and ran through my head, which half of it was cybernetic anyway. " Yes Tapestry, where do you wish to go?"

" Take me to the Erebus system, in the Styx Theta cluster." With several beeps from the Oracle, it started to move to the mass relay and shoot off to the Styx Theta cluster. I still wish to know the science behind the Relay Network, but I know that is not my field of expertise, robotics are. Even still, it would be interesting to hear the science behind it. Laz finally made an FTL jump and took two days to the Relay while it position itself to the Styx Theta cluster and see where the gambit can lead them.

Erebus system, Styx Theta Cluster

Oracle had managed to get me there in a short time. I was glad, but it didn't matter since I was just thinking about the newest project. It was a stealth virius for software and can stretch out among limited networks. I attended to use it on the suspected listing post in the cluster. However, there was a problem. " What do you mean there was a glitch Shiv?" I yelled at Shiv even though it does what it can. "As I said Master, it will take a few more days before it can be tested."

I gave a sigh and told Oracle to head back but then I heard an all to familiar noise," I wouldn't give up on your "tests" pops. Besides, you always told me to have patience before mass destruction." Tubalex 37-Q, short name Tuba. Known as the first and only AI with complex skills and experience to be my elite operative, my bodyguard, and my son.

" Tuba I don't need your smartass remarks, especially now. We are going back to Klensal and improve on the program so we can try again." Another remark came from him," right, with the same program that caused the Rouge VI on Earth's moon to go rouge?"

I clench my teeth in angry and started to walk towards him until Shiv got between us. " Perhaps Tuba is right. Perhaps Tuba has a better idea to make a new program to test." That was more " perhaps" to many for me, but maybe my son had a good idea for something than a gun, though he does have good ideas for guns.

"Ok Shiv, I'll humor you this time. Tuba, what's your idea of a program that we can use?" It gave it a thought," what about a bank crasher?" I looked at him then to Shiv," alright, I humored him, were going back." Tuba told Oracle to hold off," wait, wait, wait! Will you listen to me at least!"

" I did!" I turned around to say that to him, "we are not crashing banks nor robbing them!" Tuba tried to hold me back. It did without much effort since I built with superhuman strength that can outmatch the Geth, I still have a long way though."Listen dad, I think we should at least try it. We can get money for research and you can test your new virus."

Shiv put its two sense in," I like the idea. The Asari have the largest banks in the galaxy. A small bank in a city-state would fuel the Network more then our current assets can. I can develop a virus that can crash the stock market of the banks Tuba robes. It will test the Asari security systems and see how much mass destruction does happen if one got unchained into a network."

On that note, I couldn't argue. I haven't tried bank robbery or even testing the Asari's own networks. Besides, the Network and the Salvage company can always use more money. I gave a sigh and order the Oracle to make for Nevos.

Location: Sol system, planet Ceres, Deep Ground Complex

Some say Humanity was an upstart bunch in the galaxy, new and unlearned of the ways of galactic life and the realities of nature, Others say they are too stupid for them to govern themselves and wonder how they manage the day to day of things, some claim they are violent and stupid creatures who care only for battle or docile like cattle.

They were all wrong on those accounts.

Humanity was a species perfected on its own, going from small nomadic tribes to the power of the early digital age in 2000 years, embroiled in conflict and peace both at once and separately, indeed if one were to ask General Gregory Cherdenko what humanities strength was he knew his answer.

A Virus.

Humans adapted and evolved, different breeds all perfected for one environment, role or another as it advanced forward towards the skies breaking and infecting every challenge with its own till it died. In this day and age there would be no different, the galaxy would... No, it was against Humanity. Militant Asari building up and Batarians being rude little shits like North Korea except its cities smelt like shit and sewage compared to NK's major populaces.

All in all things needed cleaning up, big time. The time for playing pansie with the aliens was over. False flag operations, serious espionage and underhanded tactics would be needed to overcome the enemy, technologies outside the boundries of citadel law would be research and put into use while men and women would be sent into the fires of combat not seen since the second world war for humanity.

Gregory turned from the window that showed the barren landscape of Ceres and looked back towards the other beings in the room.

Major Generals Alexander and Heinrich Bartholomew sat there looking deep in thought but attentive at the same time, the fate of the Alliance and Humanity rested upon every decision made by all men of importance.

As Gregory came face to face with them he finished what he had been saying before hand.

"So, that is our situation. What is our next move?"

Alexander, the American Major General put a frown on his face and filled his voice with contempt

"The Asari and Illium need to be bought down, their economy will soon allow them to flood everyone else over with either massed military or massed economy. Indeed they are likey buying up every little alliance they can get for possible aggressive action against anyone who won't join."

Heinrich smirked "It does not matter, they will be bought low eventually, however we do need to rebuild our own military might, as you recall we were mostly disbanded about four years ago when it seemed the Alliance had everything under control, pulling us and our specialists out when needed for special operations. The time has come to bring back our covert might, if both of you will allow it I shall oversee the first batch of our new forces?"

With a nod of approval from both the Major General took his leave while the remaining two conversed, eventually brining about to a certain topic, with Gregory asking about its status.

"So, how goes Theoretical Sciences Projekt P?"

Alexander scratched his lower lip and with a look of uncertainty he replied with a small shake of his head.
"We have the theory but we need a lab, and so far our income is not enough to handle it, Might I suggest sending it to the Alliance brass? they have the labs and will gladly share it once its done."

"Do it, and send Hans out to Zeta, he will be needed in action against the Batarians and Asari if it comes to that. However I have also heard heresay of the Reapers in and among the Alliance channels, the ancient alien machines that supposedly kill all life in the galaxy every so often. I am a paranoid man my friend, I believe we must prepare for a possibility they might actually exist." Taking a deep breath in he walked back to the window staring out into space "Alexander I want you to go to Zeta as well, take direct command and preform operations as you see fit, understood?"

"Perfectly clear general, I will have my things packed and ready within an hour."

With those final words the two parted ways, the coming darkness would scour the galaxy. If it would be a darkness of Reapers, Asari or Batarians Gregory could not say, all he knew was that it was coming.

Planet Nevos, Asari Space,
Oracle of Laz,
Krestien-class Transport

In the borders of Asari Space was the planet Nevos. I always wanted to see an Asari planet, but we weren't here for pleasure, I will save that for some other time. No, I was here because of my son. Stuck in a stealth transport ever since my revival. I yearn to go back to Earth, just once. I started to scan public broadcasting buoys and showed that the banks were small and were connected to a planetary stock exchange.

Which means that Nevos was very wealthy for the Asari companies that invested in the development of the garden world. However, there will be no use in robbing it since they only carry stocks. Though, there was the Planetary Deposit that was owned by the local government and is connected to the stock exchange.

Tuba came around when I was scanning and was excited,"so where are we "casing the joint" I shook at that quote," this isn't the 1920s, it is the 2180s. We need to use cyberware or we will be dead to rights. Now, you have two choices. The planetary stock market or the Deposit. Understand that the virus can attack both since they are connected, but you can do the most damage."

Tuba looked at the scans and said," I always wanted to be a bank robber, so why stick to course?" I nodded,"very well. Here is the plan." I told it the plan and what must be carried out within two days. Nevos had no large military and navy so the plan was simple. Though several plans were made and I personally went down as the CEO of Babylon Restorative Services to add mock bank accounts with scanners inside the building. When everything was set up. Tuba went through many mock simulations.

I must admit, it wasn't half bad. However, time will take if it does right and not make me rebuild it. It was time to do the real thing. I upgraded Tuba's team members and their infantry division with the hacking equipment and high quality weaponry that the tools on the Oracle can allow me to upgrade.
"Alright Tuba, here is an enclosed circuit PDA. It has a mechanism that allows you to siphon off about 30% of the Planetary Deposit and let the virus enter the economic network to start crashing any banks that are connected to the main one.

I am sending you with a team of five with hacking programs I installed on them and complex thinking skills. Don't worry, they are VI and not self-aware, but close to it in order to do their job.
They also have high-quality weapons to counter any sort of resistance."
Tuba chuckled, "don't worry pops. I'll be fine. Besides, I brought the "heavy metal" in case stuff goes haywire."

It was assuring that it brought the heavy weapons and hope that is enough for the Asari's dreaded Biotics. At least Tuba did have a bravado in its movement. The other VI started to walk with Tuba as they were making to the transports to go on planet for the job.

Ceres, Deep Ground Complex...

General Gregory sat in his sparsely decorated office, a cup of tea resting on a small doily letting off steam into the crisp office air, he sat silently and alone contemplating the happenings of the Galaxy, for too long had the forces of Earth remained idle, it was time to act. But to do that he needed to contact an old acquaintance. Bringing up a new letter page to be sent to the Alliance command, the few people who knew of their existence.

To: Alliance Command ***.****@*****.***/***
From General of the Earth Special Forces Taskgroup, Gregory Cherdenko

I ask for a strategic meeting between our two organizations, I feel it is time the E.S.F.T to take up its old intended role instead of hit squad in the closet. We can hold the meeting in Deep Ground of Vancouver to your preference, I just wish this meeting to happen.

Also to take into fact that our budget cuts four years ago have left us in a disparat condition and thus I also ask for a few Corvette squardons and other spare military machinery you can provide, as I will be able to fill them.

-General Gregory.

................................................
While he typed this Major General Alexander and Major Hans were aboard the Stealth transport with a battalion of Spec Ops troops heading for the Citadel , plans in motion.

"So Hans we need some information, on specific movements among our targets space and indeed materials being moved, we need to raid the embassy and steal all related documents, naturally I will be hiring out a small cruiser to take me to Kamarov while you and the force takes on the Embassy, I assume you are up to it?"

The Giant of a man nodded as the maintained his chaingun, the massive weapon would fire as if it was brand new but he was not one for leaving things out of the equation.

"I shall attack and secure the data, what of the extraction?"

"The transport will go in unstealthed, we have removed all marking and as standard its disguised as a civilian freight hauler with new IFF and registered ID dating back about three years, we will offload you and the spec ops as cargo and then you shall be briefed from there, mission is to be considered full stealth unless otherwise directed. A distraction will be needed of course, you are to look for information pertaining to these targets and related business to the movement of ships, materials and troops in the past year is that clear?"

Hans looked at the data pad and flicked through, reading through every objective twice and confirming.

"Certainly, manual self destruct codes will also be issued I assume?"

Alexander furrowed his eyebrows before replying with an annoyed tone. "Yes, we cannot risk them identifying you if you fall. All will be manual to prevent hacking." With an uncertain look Alexander sighed and placed his head in his hands.

"These are desperate times, question is will we survive as a species?"

Nevos Planetary Bank,
The Steel Fang Gang

Well, pops was right, this was no walk in the park. I was installed with heavy armor and weaponry to match. The other VI that was in my gang was inside and feeding me info as I walk in. My servos were on silent running as the element zero smooth them out. I walked in with the tremendous stomp and made my presence known. I took out my pistol and shot it in the roof. The other four got their rifles after they shown themselves and went after any and all security guards that seem to pose a threat and go to hack the security alarm. I yelled an order to them," no killing boys! I hate the headlines as much as the next person, wound them, knock them out, but no killing."

I started to grab my rifle and shouted," everyone down! No one becomes a dead heroine and no one else has to die. Now on the ground and hand over all Omni tools and sensors. Heads behind your back and this will be over in five to ten minutes!" I went to the manager or assistant and point the gun towards her," tell the VI to open the vault or I will blow it open with you tied to it."

One of the VI hacked the camera feed to bring it down. I don't know what firepower the Asari guards had but I think it will be a firefight nevertheless.

Arcturus Station- Volus Diplomatic Meeting

The young Parliamentarian stopped the Volus Diplomat just outside of the Parliament Chamber, looking at him. "My older, more experienced friends are cautious of the Volus. My apologies for their behavior. The Alliance needs your help, if you're willing to lend it".

Admiral Hackett's Command Ship

Arcturus Station

The message sent to Alliance Military Command was immediately forwarded to Admiral Stephen Hackett, admiral of the Alliance 5th Fleet. Meetings with Military Organizations were always carried out by the Military instead of the Government. Admiral Hackett had been coordinating for weeks, planning to defend against the Batarians, organizing a massive Alliance, and praying. He sat down and typed an email, which he sent to the ESFT.

Fleet Admiral Athis T'avis
Dreadnought Wrath of Illium, En Route to Typhon System

The fleet moved with haste. They would meet up with the Quarian fleet and move in to destroy the Geth planet by planet. Of course, they did plan on disabling as many geth ships as possible instead of destroying them. Their allies needed a war fleet once this was all over and the Geth ships could provide just that. Athis knew that Aleena did not trust the Council to keep out of Illium's affairs for much longer, and the humans were always pressing their advantages when they could. With a minority of Illium's fleet defending the homeworld, it was imperative that they win with minimal losses, particularly to the Dreadnought corps. As they were coming into the Typhon system she sent the notification to Admiral-Arbiter Daro'Xen.

To: Admiral-Arbiter Daro'Xen

The Illium Fleets are in position. Preparing for designated operations on your mark. Triarch Aleena has granted us the full use of our ships combat capabilities and we will be ready. I'm already sending the Heavy fleet to Ma'at. They are going to have the stated goal of capturing the Hydrogen Plants there. Hopefully this draws out the Geth fleets to give us an opportunity of reclaiming Rannoch.

-Fleet Admiral Athis T'avis

With the message sent and the Heavy fleet in FTL towards their target, it was only a matter of time before the actual fighting began. The geth had numerous Dreadnoughts and she knew that they would need all the firepower they could muster to defeat the geth and make it out alive.
