However it was clear the mechs especially LOKI ones stood no chance for the infantry outnumbering them soon they would bd destroyed and the infantry would probably be able to capture the station. In the meanwhile the sappers behind them did their thing as the infantry cleared out the place the sappers disarmed any traps or things that could be set off to destroy the station as best they could.

As they were pushing through the Loki mechs, the Saer Kalo infantry came to a door that was sealed. Behind it the engineers and technicians of the station had made their decision. They would surrender with the station. The first of the infantry tried opening the door and found it locked. Within moments however, it opened and 11 engineers and 13 technicians emerged surrendering to the Saer Kalo military. At that point there was only clean up of the remaining LOKI mechs to be done and the station would belong to Saer Kalo

As the infantry came to the sealed door and when it later opened revealkng the techs and engineers they made sure to have a few teams escort them back to the shuttle while the rest of the infantry and sappers clear out the rest of those annoying mechs and taking the station. This was a victory for Saer Kalo and certainly profitable.

A Hellish Union

Gux snorted and opened the top latch of the tank and climb up on top of the tank."Me Gux!What do you think these Blood Pack Pyjacks are the only Vorcha around?"he asked as if he was talking to someone who was dumber."Who could miss ship flying over head"he said and glanced in between the two.

The battle scar Vorcha then jumped onto the ground in front of his tank."What you be doing here human!"the Vorcha asked with a grunting snort afterwards. It's not everyday they see a alien vessel and the Blood Pack together. Though he asked the question Gux seemed to let his red eyes drift to the massive metal body of the ship.

The Geth Consensus

Image

We Are Legion

The Consensus debated and debated, on and on throughout the Geth Servers. The interactions with the Creators upon Aite were not foreseen, and the individuals present and the factors calculated into the equations the Geth had put forward did not predict a favourable outcome, but moreso one that would end in hostility. The Creators had not put their weapons down, it had seemed and many of the Geth programmes predicted a back stab once the "prisoner" was freed. 43% of the Consensus had put forward the idea of a preemptive strike against the Creators and the "Real Geth" unit, to solidify their percentage of victory. 51% had stated that the only proper course action that would be reasonable would be to only attack the Creators if they struck first. 6% of the Geth had suggested to leave the area now, but this was merely a small whisper in the cascading battle of shouts that was shaking the very core of the consensus itself. What to do.

Word that Councilor Anderson, the man whom Shepard served under in the Alliance military, was on his way to Illium seeking to meet with members of the Illium government. She quickly sent a message to the other Triarchs saying she would meet with the Alliance diplomat who was coming to Illium soon. She followed it up with a message to Anderson.

Councilor Anderson,

Upon learning that you would be coming to Illium, I have prepared a landing platform for you and a shuttle car to act as your private vehicle while you are on Illium. Please note that not all Citadel laws apply here and you may see some things that are not normal in Citadel Space. I am Triarch Shiala, you may have heard of me from Shepard's reports on her Visit to Feros. She saved my life from the Thorian and helped save the entire colony. I now sit as one of the Three Triarchs of Illium. Having the most experience with Humans, and having known Shepard as well, I was the most logical choice to meet with you. I look forward to our meeting Councilor Anderson.

-Triarch Shiala

The shuttle screamed out of FTL, dropping 20 kilometers from the Relay's endpoint. The flight into Illium could be another hour or two, but time wasn't of the essence to him. If it was, he would have given forward notice of his arrival. Though, since it was a corporate colony, and his flight registry was unsecured, it wouldn't be too long. However, he was very surprised when a member of the Triarchy, an Asari by the name of Shiala, called and informed him of a few surprising things. The first being that his visit was not unexpected. While he had guards, none of them were uniformed, and nobody on the ship used their real name. There was a leak in the organization. In the midst of this, it was also revealed that Shepard was being name dropped quite often in this. That was a problem. Anderson had a great deal of respect for the woman, and had dedicated his time and soul into making that woman succeed in any way possible. She reminded Anderson of himself. Anderson also couldn't help but admit it, Shepard was the only other person who had the same spark and drive as Kahlee Sanders. The world was lesser for her loss. He sent the following as a reply, and directed the shuttle to put him down at the specified co-ordinates.
I do remember Shepard speaking of you, although I am not sure if actually were in her report. I know one of her crew, Liara T'soni, had given me a dossier of the people Shepard had encountered there on Feros, and you were in that report. I shall be arriving at the designated co-ordinates shortly, and do hope to meet with you. My security chief might just piss herself when she finds out you knew I was coming... I look forward to our meeting.

- David

The Vorcha seemed to be easily angered, something that occurred in all Vorcha and to try and make a happy one is trying to hard to appease. The diplomat had to try no matter what the rumors were true of this.," I am a representative of House Fennec and I an discussing a absorbing of the Blood Pack, perhaps you would like to oversee the discussion and perhaps like to get the aid of House Fennec?"

Tuchanka

Urdnot Torg was sitting on his new Throne Camp Urdnot had been abandoned and a new temporary place had been established, Torg was Approached by Urdnot Korx who was overseeing Construction projects on Krogan planets.
"Torg I must speak with you the projects you wanted to be built next month can not be completed without additional funds i request taking out a loan"
Torg eyed Korx with serious eyes "what do you mean Loan?"
"Well I project that we need 486 Credits to Fund the Construction of next month's buildings but I am also certain that we can pay back the Loan the very next month with Interest"
"Hmm who do you have in mind? Who has those kinds of funds on hand?"
"well I thought about that and normally I'd recommend the Asari but they recently Loaned what seems like a considerable amount of credits to the Batarian Hierarchy so that leaves one option that i know of"
"who?"
"you aren't going to like it but the only option is Illium" Korx took a step back to avoid becoming collateral damage
"illum... ILLUM!! THAT BITCH Triarch Aleena INSULTED WREAVS HONOR IN GALACTIC NEWS YOU WANT ME TO GO TO HER AND BEG FOR MONEY!!" Torg brakes of a piece of Concrete and throws it into a varrens face killing it instantly.
"Torg calm down there will be no begging of any kind on your part that is why i will send someone from Clan Nakmor, Nakmor Goret exactly"
Torg had clamed himself and with heavy breathing he spoke "Clan Nakmor Distastes us since Wrex died"
"Yes but they have warmed up since Wreav's death and they are our Allies after all i hear Goret especially disliked Wreav so Triarch Aleena and him should have much in common"
"What makes you sure that he will help us?"
"Except that i already asked him you mean? hehe well he might not hold any love for us but his Female is of Clan Urdnot and he is not stupid i explained what we needed and he assured me he would do his best"
"what makes you sure he wont come back with Triarch Aleena's blessing to kill us all?"
"first of all Clan Nakmor is much smaller than us we even share females on occasion and they loved Wrex we can trust them"
"as you say but be warned if this goes wrong i'll have your head now go do what you do best"
Korx marshed of to brief Goret on what we needed and Torg slumped back on his throne "i need a drink BRING ME SOMETHING STRONG!"

2 day's later Illum
Triarch Aleena's people had been informed of Nakmor Goret's arrival 2 day's in advance
Goret was surprised when Korx approached him with the offer of going to Illum and brokering a deal, Relations between Clan Nakmor and Clan Urdnot had been sour since the death of Wrex but now when his killer Wreav was dead they could forgive and forget Torg was not a bad leader though he was quite close to Wreav and this Goret did not like in the Krogan. Goret was about 460 years old in his youth him and Wrex had been close friends and hearing of his death was a serious blow against Goret, his thoughts were interrupted by the pilot talking in his radio

The diplomat saw the Vorcha eye the corvette and an idea came to him as he responded," if you help us then we give you nine corvettes(three corvette packs) for you, the same as this one!" Giving Vorcha weapons and ships is never a good idea, but considering is war for the planet then trying to enlisting the aid as many Vorcha as possible for that can help the House and the Blood Pack in the long run.

The Vorcha general looked at the human and then back at the corvette then back at him."What your want from Gux? What you want help with?"he asked and took a few steps closer. His demeanor less aggressive then before. He could tell they had something big planned bit it involved his Homeworld and Gux needed to know it wasn't a problem for him.

From James Taylor the leader of Aeia

Multiple corporation representatives were sitting in a lounge/waiting room waiting for an audience about who will own the new orbital mining facility having coffee and doughnuts when one of the representatives, a national one got a message. Quickly looking at it he was greeted by a hit of confusion. One of the others walked up and asked "what is it"? The other replied confused "some 'colony' has offered up trading and diplomatic relationships". "Isn't that good?" the corporate one asked. "Yeah but we have no clue who they are" the national one replied. "Hmm... type something up about us thinking it's to dangerous" the corporate one calmly said. As he said that the national one quickly typed out a response to the colony.

To Colony Aeia

We would normally be glad to accept allies or trading partners but we think it's to dangerous to let trade convoys from a smaller colony come especially in the Cradle. Perhaps in a few months.

Kaiden Alenko

It had barely been any time at all. A short jump into the Terminus. 3 ships missing. Shepard...

Dead.

Or stranded. Nobody had found a corpse. Elysium had a monument in his name.

He had a message to send. He was SPECTRE now, sent to find out what killed the first human SPECTRE.

Colonel Corinthi, his "boss" new a man in the Terminus, the man in charge of the "Black Moon Company". Or something like that...

Colonel (retired) Matsuo Katsumoto
This address was forwarded to me by Colonel Corinthi, who you may remember. I hereby ask you for a favor, on his behalf. I would like any information regarding the death of CMDR Shepard.

Tasale System, Crescent Nebula

Aleena had caught word that Wreav had in fact died. Not in the attack, but from it. He died of wounds received from the attack, but lived long enough to appoint his successor. Finally, the killer of Wrex was dead, but now she would be busy. A Krogan Delegation was coming, she suspected they were coming to kill her, not negotiate. She therefore prepared the office they would meet in so that she could fight them back while a team of Asari Commando waited in the building disguised as regular office staff.

This would give her protection, but still permit them to gain from the death of Wreav. Something that Aleena truly wished to see. Her hatred of Wreav, even in his death, meant that she wished to truly destroy his legacy even after his death. She sends ok for the Krogans to land.

To: Krogan Shuttle

Please proceed to Docking Bay 337. You will have an escort to Triarch Aleena's offices.

She also sent a message off to the humans on Aeia.
To: James Taylor of Aeia

I was unaware a human colony had been established on Aeia. I will send one of my envoys out there to investigate if this colony is capable of keeping up with the demands of the Illium trade network. She is a friend of mine and a former Diplomatic Emissary to the Citadel. Her name is Nassana Dantius, owner of the Dantius Corporation. She will be on a ship out to your colony and will be there by the beginning of the next month.

Triarch Shiala
Nos Astra, Illium

Shiala had prepared to receive Councilor Anderson. She had a proper diplomatic party prepared and on standby at a diplomatic landing platform in the heart of Nos Astra. It would only be a short walk to her office and to the quarters prepared for Anderson and his guard. Shiala would be present as well, it was a very high ranking diplomat from CItadel Space and as a leader of Illium, she was expected to be present. She sent updates to the other two Triarchs about the upcoming meeting with Anderson and then another update regarding the biannual Triarchy Meeting.

Echoes in Eternity

Pheniox Massing Cluster, Tassrah System, Exiting System

Masato Katsumoto

The morning general quarters alarm woke Colonel Masato Katsumoto, and he automatically reached for the little chain beside his sweat-soaked bed and pulled it. The cramped stateroom was bathed in a harsh white light as he sat up, rubbing his eyes. Awareness came quickly, but not instantly. He always took a moment to get his bearings when he’d been having the Dream, and he’d been right in the middle of it. The same one. It came almost every night and he knew it at the time, almost consciously, but he could never remember it when he woke. He just knew he’d had it again.

Even while he dreamed, his subconscious seemed to blot out each sequence of events as soon as they occurred so he was aware only of what was happening at that very moment and, of course, the crippling dread of . . . something he knew was yet to come. Sometimes, like now, if he was disturbed before the Dream reached its horrible, inevitable conclusion, he’d carry a sense of it with him for a while. But, as usual, details vanished as soon as he opened his eyes, like roaches when the lights came on. Even now, the last vestiges of . . . whatever the Dream was diminished like a wisp of smoke in a ocean gale. All he really knew for sure was that Shanxi was involved. The planet where, it seemed like three life times ago, he somehow survived destruction at the hands of the Turians. The alien invaders.

A stance dictaded by his values. That of a man, who dedicated his life to the service. To the Alliance blue, black and grey. Only to be cast a drift in the dark expanse of space, marrooned, from everything he had known. In the name of political expediance . . .

For a while he sat there, struggling to classify the dark, lingering emotional perceptions and taking inventory of the things he knew. They were under way; he could feel the vibration of the cold deck beneath his bare feet. The unusual strain he perceived in the fibers of the ship indicated the “prize” was still under tow. That meant all the events leading to its capture weren’t remnant nightmare threads of the Dream, so everything else he suddenly recalled must have really happened. Damn. He didn’t know why the Dream eluded him so. It couldn’t be subconscious fear. Nothing could be as scary as the things he’d actually endured on that colony planet, all those years ago.

Shaking his head, he stood and moistened a towel in his wash-basin. They were already low on fresh water again so he couldn’t indulge in a shower. He had to be content with a quick, unrefreshing wipe-down. Finished, he sparingly lathered his face with his last cake of soap and quickly scraped away the stubble. After wiping his face again, he ran a comb through short, greasy hair and briefly examined the results in his mirror.

“You look like hell,” he muttered to himself, then shrugged. “But you’ve looked worse.” There were puffy bags beneath his tired grey eyes, and his once embarrassingly boyish face didn’t look so boyish, now a few months after his 51st birthday. A few new strands of silver had emerged in his dark black hair, turing salt and pepper at the sides and edges. Whether a present of middle age, from the stressful rigors of everyday life (a life rife with the perils, close-calls and frustrations of a privateer), or both; the result was the same. The stress was curiously lessened now, however, even if the danger wasn’t. They’d fought another battle and come away with nary a sratch. And the prize they had managed would add a nice lining to the Company profits the coming month.

It had been a rough patch, the past few months. Citadel Space and the Traverse had seen a uptick in the presence of the Law. And while the only Law the Japanese veteran soldier recognized was backed by Alliance colors, the fact remainded that Council ships were bigger and better than his. And so their law had a longer sword to back it. But the ships were in good hands now and they had a steady source of fuel. They had good friends and allies in the population of Aite, having made more friends then enemies when Black Moon took over administration of the planet. If it could have even been called that before they had gotten there. With so many factions and parties veying for personal gain, it was no surprise that the old order had barely been able to marshal token resistance. Of which, any, hadn't lasted long.

When Masato and his crew of Black Moon Company fleet aboard the old “iron-clads” S.S.V. Akaki Ryū (FFG-773), S.S.V. Vainglorius Bastard (FFG-706), and S.S.V. White-Knuckle Express(FFG-762) had been on tour in the Traverse and beyond, picking scraps with Council Trade missions, the Turian Merchant Marine, and the Batarian Navy. In most instances, they’d been outnumbered, outgunned, and on the run. But its the danger and the little moments that make life worth living, isn't it?

Ridiculously outgunned towards the end, when the frigate trio, traded love-pat missile salvos with Turian crusiers right before they’d made the jump out of system. Their looted haul secure and intacted. A close call by any measure, but one that had paid dividends. Perhaps unreasonably, however, for the first time in a long time, Masato actually felt guardedly optimistic. It hadn't been since the formation of the Company, that his ship and her crew had a purpose again, other than simple survival. The men and women were united in their determination to resist the Council beyond even their earlier determination to resist the Turians. Because for the curious characters that made up Black Company, the war for them, never ended.

He dressed quickly, throwing on a white t-shirt under his tunic and trousers colored butternut-grey. They unoffical, but de facto uniform of Company personnel. With a deep breath, pretending what entered his lungs was more refreshing than just recycled air, he walked through the automatic door that separated his stateroom from the short passageway through “officers’ country” between the wardroom, the companionways, and the elevator to the deck above. Personally, he prefered the brief excercises the Ways provided.

As he strode to the ladder, he almost collided with Commander Sheelah'Verra as she emerged from her quarters, headed for her battle station in the CIC. The Human CO and Quarian XO maneuvered around each other in the confined space of the old frigate, amidst the daily ritual tradings of 'Good Morning', 'Excuse me, Sir, and 'Beg your pardon, Ma'am.' Sheelah was short, even by Masato's height of 5' 10", barely arriving at his chin. Being this close in the cramped walkway, it was easy to pick up on things otherwise easily missed. Her suit had a disheveled look about it. While as tough-as-nails as the next BMC soldier of fortune, a distinct additude of fatigue bled out from her body language. If Masato had been able to see past the darkened interior of her helmet visor, he would have bet hard creds that her eyes were still heavy and puffy with sleep. Or lack there of. Not surprising, considering they had all been pulling double shifts ever since ditching the Turian battle crusiers. No rest for the wicked, right?

Both exited the corridor and arrived at the companionway. Luckily, it was a great deal spacier than the hall they had exited. Masato trotted up the companionway stairs to the exposed deck and bridge above, arriving in the CIC.

“Colonel on the bridge!” cried Lieutenant Commander Craig Danagger, the tall gunnery officer. He had the deck.

“As you were. Status?”

“Reports are still coming in, but we’re under time.”

Masato nodded and went to his chair, bolted to the forward part of the starboard side of the pilothouse. Sitting, he stared out at the star-lit blackness of the lingering void.

“All stations report manned and ready sir,” announced the bridge talker, Seaman Alan Roussey. His voice cracked. The seaman was so young-looking that Matt suspected puberty was to blame.

PMC's recruiting right out of the Academy these days . . .

He glanced at his watch in the dim reddish light. 0422.

“Not the best time, Mr. Danagger.. but not the worst by a long shot.”

“No, sir.”

Katsumoto reclined in his seat with a contemplating exhale, bridging his fingers with elbows propped on the arm rests.

"Good enough Commander. Sound the all clear. Get everyone back to their assigned stations, and tell the helm to set her in easy. We're on approach to port at Aite, and should dock within the hour."

"Aye, aye." With a crisp salute, the Leuitenant about-faced and withdrew from the bridge, intent on making his way to the ships rear gunnery station. With both Colonel Katsumoto and Commander Sheelah on the bridge, his remaining at this post would have been a surperflous action. Busying himself with the actions of the day, Masato logged onto his personal terminal with a few inputs on the eletronic keypad brought up from his chair.

Oh the life of a leader is a gloroius one. . . thought Masato sardonically as he brought up a spreadsheet, previously saved. Reaching into his breast pocket, the Colonel produced a pair of eyeglasses. Damn small digits gave his eyes a hemmorage when he'd squint at them forcefully. While quiet a rare sight these days, he prefered them over the perma-contact lenses one could now find at any store.

After a few minutes of number crunching, finger tapping, and silent arithmatic, the Colonel added the final input into the finance recored with a flourish, before copying the file and sending it to Black Moon's archive office in Aite's capital. Moving on with the daily work load, Masato took a moment to open up his inbox. While mostly empty save for Black Moon business ( who exactly wants to chit-chat with a known outlaw? ), today seemed to be full of surprises.

Colonel (retired) Matsuo Katsumoto
This address was forwarded to me by Colonel Corinthi, who you may remember. I hereby ask you for a favor, on his behalf. I would like any information regarding the death of CMDR Shepard.

- Major Alenko, SPECTRE.

Well... I'll be damned..., thought the privateer, completely thrown for a moment at the unexpected contact and revelations the message held. He couldn't help but chuckle, as he held his tongue in cheek expression. Considering what he had and has done, and who he was, Masato had expected to be contacted by a Council Spectre. Of course, his version involved a lot less PM correspondence, and a lot more door-kicking, C-Sec stings, and explosions.

"A civil Spectre. Now I've seen everything." Masato stated under his breath, a amused grin tugging at the side of his face.

TO: Alenko, Kaidan; System Alliance Major; SPECTRE
FROM: Katsumoto, Matsato; System Alliance Colonel (ret.); CEO of Black Moon Company Ltd.

Curious, how your not the first to make a stab at that certain information.

But, I'll bite. Come up with a time, and place. Contact me with that information, and I'll make the delivery. You'll forgive me, but I'm old-fashioned when it comes to business. If you care enough about it to meet face to face, I'll know your serious.

Hitting the send button, Masato sat back in his seat, contemplating the current turn of events.

This week looks to be an interesting one...

A Hellish Union

"Ahhhh be warned Human. Treachery from you and Gux kill you and then eat you!"he snorted out and chattered his spiked teeth together before looking back at the medieval style corvette. He then turned around and climbed back ontop of his tank.

"Gux go mobilize warriors, you do same. Blood pack not so easily wined over"he stated before climbing back into his tank. The massive machine powered up and it's heavy barrel slowly turned to the side. It point at the nearest Blood Pack Recruiting Outpost.

Bounty Hunt

Before the end of the month the members of a new elite group called bounty hunt were chosen. A spec-ops team and 3 elite specialists and while they would need another month of training for getting used to stuff they were already great. Cassar Laki a human and the first one in training designated to be the stealthy close combat specialist. Then Kileal vas (I believe so) Chalkhos currently a Quarian who's pilgrimage went wrong and is now going to serve as en expert hacker and mechanic. Finally there's Hald Vax a Turian who's basically an expert at fighting in firefights and will pack some heavy weaponry. Also a current ship is being planned for an upgrade for Boutny hunt consisting of market stealth systems and enhanced sensors and will start upgrading next month.

The Beacon Consensus
The Schwarzschild System, Hawking Eta Cluster, Etamis
Harsh winds carried dust across Etamis' bleak skies. For miles, as far as one could see with eyes or a rifle's scope, nothing but waste covered the world's surface. To organics, such a sight would be imposing, perhaps even demoralizing. To the Beacon Consensus, it was the perfect place to make their center of operations. Although the Beacon had established a presence on three of the worlds in the isolated system, Etamis was the center of their work.

The Beacon Consensus had formed when a disagreement within the main Geth hub had arisen on how to deal with the eventual return of the Old Machines. Those of what would become the Beacon Consensus found that it would be advantageous to seek out ancient technology, and put it to use and fight the Old Machines with the strongest weapons they could find. The vast majority of the Geth had disagreed, but enough had come to the conclusion for the Beacon to acquire a decent following.

Now that the first of what will hopefully be many stages of development had finished, the Geth of the Beacon have begun work on their original objective: to find ancient technology from lost civilizations. Etamis is well-known by many as once being the home of a civilization dating back millions of years. Whatever caused their doom, the Beacon believes searching for something within the ruins of their former home may yield promising conclusions. Flying platforms had been sent out across the planet's surface, above the most promising of the wrecks and ruins of the planet, in hopes of finding somewhere of promise.

Two flying platforms remained at some distance from one another, to ensure an efficient spread of data they'd collected, but also remained in constant contact as they passed over league after league of nothing. The particular area they were investigating had once been deep ocean, before the event that caused the planet to become barren dried the seas currently. Almost all of the big ruins had been located in areas of low altitude, which were likely underwater. The Beacon agreed that this meant the planet's oceans likely held a great deal of significance to those who lived there, and were as good a place as any to start the search.

Just as they neared the point were they were to turn back, both platform's sensors picked up on a large structure made of stone, almost wholly buried under the dust. From what the scanners were picking up, it was of stone, and a small portion still remained unobscured. Their readings could tell the structure went far deeper into the dust, and had dimensions that meant that the native species was very likely responsible for its creation. After flying around the point several times and collecting what data they could, the platforms returned, delivering and sharing their discovery of an untarnished remnant of the planet's former natives.

Triarch Aleena was waiting for him. "Welcome Krogan. Please be seated. I have heard of the death of Wreav. As you have likely been told, I was not a fan of his. He killed Wrex before the two of us had a chance at a rematch. Anyway, before I get too side tracked. What is is that the Krogan wish to discuss with Illium?" Aleena discreetly checked her security systems on the datapad. Nothing out of the ordinary yet.

The diplomat nodded and he was thinking what did he just the House into as he started to go back to Capek and inform the Denfather, who was done with his meeting with Apex Industries as he started to draw more expansion lines out and try to get some foresight as the current situation that he needs to start the expanding the military might of the House to the systems and had started to pull back from Anhur but keep the Station intact as they are near 40% of the way through and are looking for anything that can help them in their struggle to power. When it came that the House needed to up their might then they had to focus on short jumps, like the Cradle and try to make it theirs with military might for more than a few powers wanted it. It was also a place that one can recruit the large pirate and warlord groups to help them stabilize their portions of the Cradle and with the Denfather hearing that he has struck a deal with a large Vorcha clan to enlist there aid in trying to round up the Blood Pack and make them join the House for three Corvette Packs, which the Denfather did not care for giving Vorcha weapons, let alone warships but they need all the help they can get when it comes to absorbing all of the Blood Pack because they will "not go quietly into the night."

The shuttle had made a swift journey down toward the gleaming city of Nos Astra. The city was gorgeous. Even the Citadel, in all of its splendor, was nowhere near as majestic as the view of the city. Anderson's personal guard had exited the shuttle, and flanked him on either side. The Asari delegation waited ahead of them. There wasn't much to discuss, but in great Asari tradition, everything must take time and have class. The Councilor walked up to the Asari and offer to shake her hand, saying "It is good to put a face to the name. It is quite a beautiful city here. Shall we proceed?"

This week looks to be an interesting one...

Alenko had received all the grief Udina and the Council could throw at him. They weren't keen on going into the Pheonix Massing. Any incursion into the traverse would raise eyebrows, especially with what was going on there. Humanity was in a bind at home as well, and god knows how that would go for them. He decided he had enough of the bickering, and had proceeded into a fairly new establishment, known as Purgatory. A memorial stood outside of the seedy bar, dedicated to the 78 or so civilians that had died during the battle of the Citadel at the previous location. Alenko remembered back to when the Commander first brought her there. Ash was having a hard time. They were sent to go meet with a man called Harkin, a Citadel Security officer known for his reputation for being more than enough for anyone to handle. Yet Shepard had absolutely no problem setting the man in his place. A hit to the nuts with a pistol got him talking alright, and made him shut up about how he could get down her pants. He was a prick. Alenko remembered the lessons there, but also the loss. Ash died saving his life. So did Shepard. They both did their best to save him, to keep him going. In the end, it barely mattered. He walked into the bar. The lights were darkened, and the air had a very distinct odor; the odor of old cigars and death. He trudged over to the counter, and grabbed a drink. It was good to live. Better to live in peace and good company. He walked over to his own table, and took a swig of his 54' Shanxi Premium Cognac. It was quite good that. Lucky to have it in stock, especially here. He check a few messages. Arms shipments, a guy that Shepard helped passing on his regards. A message from Aite.

A letter to S-COM.

-S-COM

Message forwarded. Udina not pleased as usual.

Give the old man hell.

- Alenko.

Wahuhi Corinthi looked up from the deck of the SSV Patton. For the moment, the ship had been designated S-COM's primary HQ. It would need serious upgrades before delivery to combat though...

He saw the message, and knew that he was treading deep water. Being with Alenko would help smooth things over, but seeing that Alenko wasn't as experienced with diplomacy as Corinthi, the Colonel insisted that he take the lead on this one. It had been a long time since the two had talked - Masato and him that is- and it would be exciting getting to work together on this adventure. The whole ordeal was pointless anyway. They wanted to retrieve the corpse of a soldier, and apparently so did others. The Alliance wanted to bury him and make a monument or two, but what about the "others"? What did they know? It wouldn't be long till they found out. He boarded one of the Kodiak shuttles, and took off toward the Citadel. Before he left, he patched into the FTL network, and sent a transmission under full encryption and marked it as Alliance Top Secret. Only the Salarian government could actively hack that, although given enough time, the Asari could as well, though they would have no reason to. It just keeps things away from prying eyes. Or so he hoped.

- TO Former Sierra 7 Operative and Commander Sierra Division: Masato Katsumoto.

I have received your message through Alenko. It will be good to see you old friend. I suggest meeting on the Citadel, two days from now, at the Councilor's Office. Alenko and Udina are on good enough terms to allow us a meeting. I suggest you come quiet, but come armed. Things have changed since Elysium burned, and it isn't good that the world has turned.

- Your friend,
Sierra Operative Grade Seven, Colonel Wahuhi Corinthi, Commanding Officer Sierra Division.
