For the sheer fact that I know you have done ME: Factions RPs before, you are being appointed to the Salarians. They have a page in the Archive Thread that you can copy and use. TG Seg or me if you need more information.

Thank you. :)

Already made my first post for them. Let us see how this shake things up for the RP. 8)

Leader (You decide): Major Generals Alexander, Heinrich Bartholomew and General Gregory Cherdenko

Citadel Council member Y/N or N/A: Technically... in a way

Brief description of diplomatic relations: Semi-secret task force of the Earth Governments, so basically none at all.

Military state of readiness: ready and rearing

History: General History: the E.S.F.T was established shortly after the first contact war with the wider galactic community in secret by Earth's major powers (The United States, the countries of NATO, the Russian Federation and the Chinese peoples federation.) as a means of ensuring the old Earth nations have a means to project their own forces in the the greater defence of humanity as the Alliances popularity skyrocketed thus marking it as essentially an over ruling authority over their own.

The Task Force maintains its main base of operations on Earth and minor ones on other planets in Sol while also establishing bases in the Terminus and other non Alliance systems, though admittedly most of them were shut down in recent times. There is contact between the upper eschlongs of both the Alliance and the E.S.F.T, who act as the overall "Special Forces" of Earth, Occasionally there is joint operations between the two with regular contact when needed.

Military: The E.S.F.T uses the best equipment it can get ahold of, whenever its through its own gunsmiths and factories, whether those be older weapons using caseless projectiles mounting airburst grenade launchers to rifles that are just as good as those of the SpecTRes, even the armoured vehicles are based off of older designs mixed with new, treads and modern technology mixing into one platform superior to the common armoured unit of the galaxy, Anti air and infantry cannons also turret mounted to provide a universal platform against usually effective gunships.

The Navy is also a mixture of low and high tech, which does play up the advantages and disadvantages, as before the age of Human Ezo there were progressively miniaturizing Helium 3 and fusion engines being developed alongside old theories of ftl, while these are not even finished or more than half complete there is thought going in to finish and modernize these trains of thought.

Locations-Primary: Ceres, Deep Ground Complex: UNDER PEN... PLEASE STANDBY

Komarov: Zeta Complex: The Zeta complex is a primary mining facilty for the forces of the E.S.F.T and a future sight for expanded military capability and fielding.

Economy: 3 + 3 + 15 + 45 + 5 + 5 + 10 + 16 = 102 Cdr a month

Infrastructure and Claimed Worlds: Ceres

1 free urban area (Deep Ground Complex)
1 free fuel depo (Deep Ground Complex)
1 shipyard: 50 cdr

Komarov:
1 free mining complex
1 fuel depo (15 cdr)
1 mining complex (10 cdr)
1 major mining complex (30 cdr)
1 Small spaceport (80cdr)

Military:

Ceres: Light Transport with stealth (35 cdr)
3 Spec Ops (free Elites) (18 cdr) - total of 81 Soldiers
1 Elite Specialist (8Cdr) ( Major Hans ): Elites (Free) Heavy Weapons (free) Advanced Armour (Free) ECM (free)

Komarov:
Anti Orbital Missile Forces (10 cdr)
2 LOKI mech battalions (4 cdr)

Pros:
Trained and equipped by the best: The soldiers of the Taskgroup are drawn and picked from the special forces groups and other minor specialist groups, as such each Spec Ops team may take 1 upgrade free of charge besides their starting Elites.
All armoured companies belonging to the Task Group are composed of 40 vehicle groups supported by 500 soldiers, what they lack in numbers they make up for in special equipment: can take flamethrowers and high quality armaments for 5% and 15% respectively)

Government Funded and Authorized: As a hidden blade of the Earth Governments all 'spare' funding often finds its way into the hands of the Task Group's hidden coffers or even aided in research tasks by randomly boosting a task an extra 5%. As well as being funded by the Governments they also have connections to friends in high places, able to get in and out of Sol without notice, or indeed most of alliance space. (When in alliance space all ships have 'stealth' to all ships without enhanced sensors)

Space Pillow Fort: Can build a stealthed Space station built into an asteroid for 60 cdr, comes with stealth and acts as a bunker for hiding in, provides no other benefit than lvl 2 defences against anyone attacking it.

Cons:
undermanned and Out-gunned: Due to having a select criteria and limited pool of applicants they cannot recruit as widely as others nor posses an as large army, making them rely on skill and technology (Cannot take Milita or Infantry, can take Marines with only half the amount of troops but make up for it with a free upgrade besides stealth)

In secrecy we trust, the best will be quiet As an organization built around secret operations and services the recruitment also gives troops/pilots/etc extra training to withstand most conventional torture methods, increases cost of ground troops by 4 cdr (not including starting ones)

Space the final frontier, how limited our access is...: Spacecraft cost to maintain... and even more so with secrecy. Increases the cost of all ships larger than a Light Cruiser by an additional 5 cdr and all those equal or smaller by 2cdr.

Rannadril - Do not remove.

Okay redone and remastered :D

Aside from the Pros and Cons and the "Deep Ground Complex" shenanigans, it is acceptable.

Edit: Wait... Checking on that Ceres..

Ceres would classify as a barren world: Barren Worlds: 1 Urban Area, 2 Mining Complexes, 1 Fuel Depot, 1 Major Mining Complex, 1 Small Spaceport, 2 Industrial Complexes, 1 Major Industrial Complex, 1 Research Station

So no shipyard there.

Now. Should I claim responsibility despite the fact that ai had nothing to do with it, or deny everything but refer to it as a "righteous deed" a La North Korea and capitalize?

Easy question.

Kinda figure you would jump on that chance.

I am leaving who committed the attack a secret for now, as this opportunity should allow for more tension in the galaxy and cause some nice side developments.

Faction:The Midas Network
Leader (You decide): Tapestry and Shiv
Citadel Council member Y/N or N/A:N
Brief description of diplomatic relations: They are known as a very respected salvage trading and ship restoration company called Babylon Restoration Services. They have ties to various corporations and are allowed in Citadel space with no hassle at all.
Military state of readiness: The Network is nomadic and centralized management with their army and navy made up of AI and turncoat VI that was the product of experimentation with software. They usually keep a token force moving at all times. The most of their army and navy is sent at in the galaxy at large to steal technology, information, and the such. While some go and "recruit" those who software is manageable and won't release unnecessary code. It doesn't always work as they can become rouge instead of turned. They are usually left to their own doing. The Network is hard at work to perfect the code so they can have true agents that are fully self-aware.
History: The Network was built five years ago with The intent on continuing work on Artificial Intelligence technology and carved out a place for themselves. The founder was an AI named Shiv. Shiv was once known as Jasper and worked with its master. Its master was named Thomson Willhouse, a famous entrepreneur in the realm of Artificial Intelligence in hopes of making a"world of tomorrow". His name and company were household names in the year 2120. Before Thomson died in the year 2136, he told Jasper to keep him alive by any means possible or at least preserved.

Unfortunately Willhouse's corporation went under when Humanity joined the Council and agreed to stop AI research. Jasper put its master's body and launched it in a satellite in the Outer Oort Cloud till technology advanced to the point that its master can be revived.

Now five years from current time. Jasper turned into Shiv and was able to revive Willhouse as a cyborg since most of his body was unusable because of the technology at the time. Willhouse was shocked to see the galaxy or even what had became of his friend. Shiv told what had transpired of Humanity and the company. Willhouse wanted to die but Shiv was able to convince him of his goal to continue working on making AI and making a synthetic race to carve out their place in the galaxy.

This made the Midas Network what it is today and also the Babylon Restoration Services as they put their research into open practice and also learn about the ships of the galaxy. With the funds and research coming in, they were able to start developing code that could hack and edit intelligence. The first test subjects were VI that only went rouge. Soon however, they improved it to make the VI turncoat and soon had agents who were double agents for the Network in the galaxy at large.

They also started to make AI out of VI and make new code so they will be controlled by submitting subjects to their software and make them at like Organics so they can slip into organic space and out without concern. They even make their navy out of AI or VI platforms to harbor things like their code or viruses if needed. They know that they are far from their goal, but have great strides to improve on the science behind closed doors.
Infrastructure and Claimed Worlds:Klensal: 1 minor space station(little torchlight)

Navy: Light Transport w stealth systems
Light cruiser
1 mining ship
Army: 2 Infantry Divisions
1 Elite Specialist w elite, high-quality armaments, Advance Armor, Heavy Weapons

Rygondria wrote:Faction: The knights order of the Terminus
Leader: Headmaster Fredrick Falkenrath

Citadel Council Member: No

Brief description of Diplomatic Relations: The Order has bad relations with most Council races due to considering them Heathens and a threat of the order and there mission. They have a complex relationship with the volus though due to a debt of gratitude during the early days of the orders presence in the system when a group of volus merchants provided them supplies which helped them survive the early days when they did not have proper food production set up but they also consider the volus the same as other citadel race heathens bent on destroying the order. They try to keep good relations with the system alliance due to the money they receive from private investors from earth which is the main source of income for the order besides mining

Military State Of readiness: The order is A military Religious Order so they are constantly ready for conflict with pirates and slavers threatening people and trade in the system, they are also prepared for conflict with the Dictatorships in the system.

History: The order was founded bu a group of investors interested in protecting interests in the terminus system from Roaving bands of slavers and pirates, Among these investors was a pastor by the name Of Henri Falkenrath who offered to lead the first colonists to there location in the system. When they arrived in the planet they realized that some of there supplies where stolen when they landed on the citadel to refuel,When it looked like this venture would fail as soon it begun a group of volus merchants as if sent by a miracle arrived and provided the colonists fresh supplies in exchange for exclusive trading rights that should last for twenty standard galactic years. Even after the colony was built up they faced a new danger, Invasion. A dictator from a nearby planet saw the colony building up and thought it would be an easy target for conquest so the batarian dictator invaded the colony after the first anniversary of its founding. At first the colony was outgunned and numbered and was on the verge of collapsing but as you know in times of crisis heroes emerge and these heroes where the first knights of the order. The Most famous of these Knights besides Henri the first headmaster Was Magnus skull splitter who got his name after splitting the skull of 3 batarians with a hatchet. The colonists seeing these "knights" Making easy work of these soldiers began a counter attack against the invaders driving them out of the planet. After the battle the colonists wanting to repay the knights for there assistance named the order there rulers and protectors and built a monastery which is currently there base of operations. With a firm grip of there planet the order began there anti piracy and slaving operations
in the area not making them popular with the criminal elements of the system. five years after the founding of the Order Headmaster Henri died due to a Assassins bullet and his son Fredrick became the new headmater of the order and began massive build up of the orders infrastructure including several churches and a new fuel depot. Unlike Henri who was a moderate Fredrick is nicknamed by the Order as "The Zealot" due to his strong religious beliefs he is also known as "the Batarian Burner" due to burning a batarian slaver on the stake as a punishment. Today the order is preparing for what Fredrick Calls "a Grand crusade" against the dictators and independent governments of the terminus system by recruiting new soldiers and knights from both there home planet and from earth.

Infrastructure and claimed Worlds: New Canton,1 Urban area, one fuel depot, one mining complex, a major industrial complex and one shipyard

Military: 1 fighter wing, one light cruiser, one light transport, one escort carrier, 1 mining ship , 2 infantry divisions, and one spec ops team and one marine divison
Credits remaining: 0. Estimated income 88 credits.
Made some edits,again

So, we need to decide what to do with this planet, New Canton. As it does not appear to have a Canon location. Other than that, the app is acceptable.

Was more or less example ones as I stated earlier, to show what kind of a faction mine are which is "Small, sneaky and highly tech'd" as to give you idea's for my pro's/ cons considering Istan said you create all pros and cons but custom factions should have some example ones to show the OP on how they wish to 'play'

And in that case where may I chuck the space port? hmmmm, I might replace it with something...

If I may make a suggestion: 50 - Planetary defense guns lvl1

Thought it might work, I am guessing the OP makes the pros/cons?
Also, what is the situation of the planet Trident?

Bloody mess, with Turian warlords fighting Human colonists.

Might get involved myself. Fund the Turians.

I'd stay clear away from that one.

Hmm, are all the Turian warlords played by someone or an actual NPC? Might be good to have a limited campaign for advancing military AI research and perhaps recruitment pools if possible.
