Meh, Huey Long will be my replacement for Roosevelt, so maybe he won't be fired

He got assassinated... possibly by FDR because of the fact that he was a major threat to his presidency. Also Huey long was kinda a demagogue, he would give you a house and money but in exchange wanted absolute power. He practically turned Louisiana into a police state with him on top. Do you really want that type of man as president? especially considering the fact america does not have term limits and the fact that incumbents pretty much are impossible to beat even if they are unpopular(Bush Jr, Truman, etc).

You didn't specify all of them either, and Haiti is sorta military building up via more spending on its infrastructure(railroads, roads) and also helping better fortify its fortifications.

The US hasn't posted about military since a day ago.No one else is spending on their military.

Also,USSR fighting rebels in Japan and helping the Italians.

Read the initial post made by the OP, there was a WW2, the difference was that unlike in RL the united states didn't really get involved, the British empire and USSR ended up being the 2 superpowers in the post ww2 era. Oh ya the war ended early because the British commandos were able to assassinate Hitler causing an the third Reich to collapse leading to a quick conclusion to the war with the majority of the fighting being in japan. Here's the initial post:

WW2, one of the most destructive conflicts in history. In 1939 Hitler invaded Poland beginning WW2, then France in 1940, then Russia in June 1941. Enter the British Commandos, tasked with killing Hitler. On a warm August night 20 men infiltrated Hitlers command center. 19 were killed, but one managed to make it past. He waited for Hitler to exit his building and bam, history is changed forever. In Nazi Germany, a power struggle ensues. By September, Germany is thrown into a full blown civil war. There are too many sides to count. On every front, German soldiers are surrendering or deserting. The lines crumble and both England and the Soviet Union push the Germans back to Berlin. East Germany is formed by the USSR and West Germany by Britain. Berlin is also split in half. France is thrown into a civil war between The Vichy government and the French Government. In Italy, the people rebel against Mussolini. Japan attacks America, but is quickly defeated by the Combined forces of Britain who is allied with America, and Russia, who fears Japanese Attack. Japan is split in half, one of the few nations fully under British and Russian control. America never fully enters the war, and even in 1943, the Depression continues. England and Russia enter and uneasy peace, starting the Cold War. In an effort to stabilize the economy, America sells both Alaska and Hawaii. Part of Alaska is sold to Canada and part to the USSR. Hawaii is sold to Britain. After these sales, the economy stabilizes some.

They would of still fought japan I am pretty sure, japan attacking them and all. It just would not have been on the scale that they did in RL, with most of their participation being in order to liberate the Philippines from Japanese control
