A prison break isn't going to hinder the plot is it? We need to get our character's together some how, and I imagine the Empress offering pardon's upon the quest's success.... though I then wonder what's stopping the girls from running away during the quest.

Japanese is good, and actually Portuguese can be interesting if you're looking for something strange.
I personally use my conlang, but that won't be of much help to you I think. :p
