Secrets are told

Simsonville University is an Gothic styled university located outside Simsonville, which grew in population as a university arose from the ruins that had remained undisturbed outside of town since it's founding. The move had caused quite a stir in the 30s, but the prosperity brought by it gradually silenced any residual disdain. Since it's establishment SU has experienced twelve on campus tragedies, twenty disappearances, and five structural reconstructions. Most of these events receive minor coverage before vanishing from the media, but remain in the minds of all who attend.

Professor Abraham was shaking hands with the dean in his office. Abraham said to him "Thank you for this job, Mr. Dr. Prof. Sir. You will not be disappointed. I have already prepared a PowerPoint for my next class. My students will learn very much." Professor Abraham then mind controls the dean.

The dean says "You know what, Professor? I'm going to give you a raise, because that was a firm handshake and I believe in you." Abraham smiles, gets a raise, then ends the mind control. Abraham walks to his classroom.

The room was designed as one might have expected. Rows of seats ascending upward with a central focus on a raised podium. A remote controlled, yet slightly dated projector was mounted to the ceiling- it's gaze upon the wall. Abraham's philosophy class seemed to consist of various students from different backgrounds, and fields. Some desired a carrier in law, many in politics, and a few to use their degree for marketing, and journalism. Physically the majority seemed human enough, with a few noticeably unhuman. In the far corner, at the highest level sat three Plantoids, each identical to the other. The three where all female, and shared African features. In the place of head hair they had strands resembling the leaves of a Wild Onion. On the opposite end of the mid row was an individual who would surely catch the professors attention; about 19 years of age the young man had clearly alien features, from a slightly green skin, to small pointed ears, yet he was also human in his eyes, and imperfect nose. His hair a deep brown.

Abraham announces to the class "Hello, students, my name is Professor Abraham. Today, we are going to learn about…" Abraham begins his PowerPoint that shows the alien dictator, standing tall and proud. "The alien master race. Now, although it has not been agreed on in earth that we are the master race, I can prove to you that that it is true." Abraham opens the next slide of false statistics that the alien dictator made up. "The alien race has a 99% literacy rate. The human race, by comparison, has a less than 80% literacy rate. It is a proven fact that aliens are smarter and stronger than all other races. The entire alien military is twice the size as that of earth. Does anyone here disagree with these proven facts?"

For a moment, the majority of the class was stunned, though following this was much murmur.
''Uh Professor if Aliens were the master race shouldn't they like.... I don't know... have at least taken over the earth already? And don't they depend on on humans for like... trade and stuff. I mean if they were a master race then wouldn't their civilization be all perfect and self-sufficient, like have an economic state of... autarky..? I mean... why even be bother by humans if you're like the master race and all?'' came a low pitched stuttering voice from among the crowd of students.

Bryan Bendleson had spent most of his pre-university years cooped up in his mothers basement, where he was a secret fan My Little Alien Unicorn: Friendship Forever, a devoted fantasy MMPORG addict, failed aspiring comic book artist as well as occasionally smoking legal electronic weed. Yet despite the odds he somehow managed to get the minimum grades needed to enter Simsonville university to study Philosophy (he was pretty bad at most other subjects and Philosophy seemed like an easy get-out-of-jail-free card) and that's when his mother threw him out. Now he was a student here and hadn't gotten over leaving his basement sanctuary.

"That's a good question. We are not reliant on trade with earthlings. If we did, then how did we survive before our first encounter? It would be impossible if we were reliant on them! Also, our economy is actually pretty decent. It is better than the economy of over half of the earth! Now, the reason we haven't taken over the earth is for 2 reasons.
1. We are not power hungry imperialist pig dogs.
2. An empire that big would surely fall into civil war and rebellion because of the lack of control of the central government that would arise in parts of the nation faraway from the capital.
3. War is hell. Our benevolent leader would not drag so many people into the horrors of war without good reason.
Any more disapproval, students?"
