Except that we haven't established that. Most people are contented with saying it started in Britain, as IOTL.

But africa could have started it as well if they had a stable government. Because of a large population, vast amount of resources, and longer lifespan, and in this on they are islamic so they would be more like morocco, with a lot of trading. Also navigation.

No, that's no how it works.

West Africa lacks coal, the main proponent of the industrial revolution, for a start. In addition to that, West Africa still has huge land borders with other major powers and tribal lands, which mean that commerce in the region is severely restricted, due to a large portion of the areas that could be invested in are unstable regions, a la the Anglo-Scottish border pre-union. There is no pretext for the industrial revolution to have ever taken place in West Africa, not least because of the lack of said coal, which - I don't know if you're aware - was a huge driving force in the industrial revolution because, y'know, the whole idea of the industrial revolution is that you replace conventional methods of energy production (wood fires and water power) with coal power.

We do commerce with other regions like europe (because navigation), and we have some companies extracting coal in places (and we got oil!)

That's not how it works. You need to have coal in your home region in order to realise it's value, otherwise there is no fucking point in mining it. If no one mines it, they can't trade it. If they can't trade it, you can't fucking receive it.

Name: The South African Republic
Symbols: finna yeet
Claims: MUWHAHAHA BOER STRONK
Power: Minor Power Attempting to Transition to a Secondary Power

Government Structure: Federal Republic. Basically the government of the real world United States.
Ideology/Policy: Mercantilism, Educational Equality, All-inclusive of anyone willing to learn Dutch language. This stems from a historical tie between the Dutch colonists and the native people having to rely on each other for survival. Soon intermarriage became a thing and boom. Seeing as the only way out of poverty for the nation was money, emphasis on trade became a thing. In order to make everyone smart and productive and shit, educational emphasis became a thing.
Leaders: President Anderson Burvoolke
Capital City: Pretoria

Population: 4.5 mil
Primary Ethnic Group: Bantutch(Dutch and African)
Minority Ethnic Groups: Pure Dutch and Pure Bantu along with various immigrants.
Description of Ethnicity: Following the Great Isolation, the government encouraged intermarriage between native peoples and the colonists in order to promote stronger ties between the two groups. Followed three generations, an entirely unique ethnicity rose to majority.
Language: Dutch
Religion: Reformed Christian, Religiousness is fading with exposure of various cultures.

Foreign Relations: Open Borders for Coal Refueling in naval ports. Will trade with anyone that can pay.
Military Information: The military is mainly used as a service for young men to get an education and serve their country. After three years of free education at the one of the seven military schools located in the nation, the soldiers are used as a workforce. Studying the Impi Warriors of Zulu Culture and the Legions of Ancient Rome, these young men take part in the construction of massive infrastructure projects that count as "service" to the nation for a period of two years. Those who wish to further enlist joined the Professional Army, which serves as a standing, regular army.
Army Size: The Professional Army numbers about ten thousand, while the National Service numbers around half-a-hundred thousand at any given time.
Navy Size: Small gunboats and armed merchant ships patrol the area. Lacking a large naval presence, the Republic hopes that other nations will develop a dependance on their ports through the open borders policy, and thus a foreign desire to protect the Republic's shipping routes.

Economic Policy: Promotion of Individualism. An economic bill of rights regulates standard job creation and wealth management theoretically, but in practice these measures are hard to enforce due to the developing nature of the country.
Economic Situation: Definitely Getting Better, developing an industrial core. Trading as much as possible.
Infrastructure: Roads and Rail being developed with the help of the National Service
Imports & Exports: Exporting Mined Goods and Raw Materials Exported, many refined goods need to be imported.
Currency: The Guild

History: The point of separation for the South African Republic is that whole part where British people show up. Well yeah, that never happened and France never tried anything and basically the Dutch colonies were cut off from the motherland because of war. Having no supplies and no foreign help, the local leaders turned to the Zulu, first through conquest and then through trade. Both sides realized they could put food on eachother's tables. The Zulu could provide much needed labour help, and the Dutch could provide medical help. When the great leader Ulrich Jamesson was born in Pretoria, he used rational thought and his parent's wealth to gain a following. He famously said "I respect any man of any origin who is willing to respect me." Using policies of inclusion and bribery, the majority of the natives integrated with the society, and benefits for intermarriage was provided by the state. Soon enough the majority of the citizens were Bantutch(A combination of the word Bantu and Dutch, haha I'm funny.) Ulrich also established the concept of the scholar-soldier and established many major universities. This was an effort to develop a scientific core in the nation with the rewards still having yet to pay off.
