Assume Portugal is taken, then, until we get Buj to clear things up. Russia is open though.

We do need a Russia, the Big Bear has done nothing lmfao.

Speaking of spheres of influence, how are they working for our RP? Secondary powers maintain them? Can only GPs have them? etc.

Russia, yes. It's smaller than IRL, but still very much a GP. It could work on reclaiming Finland, on fighting Ruthenia (which I presume might be its primary enemy, owning all that ethnically Russia land), on playing the Great Game with Nestoria, on intervening in unsteady Mongolia (plenty to be gained there), even to look at relations with Alaska, which is a close ally for now, but nevertheless Russian land owned by a "splinter" that Russia could own.
Portugal may also be needed (the colonial GPs, I'd say, are the Commonwealth, Francia, NGC and Portugal) if Buj pulls out. Portugal has business to poke around in East Asia with treaty ports and Mongolia, as well as a pretty big stake in Africa, and the Scramble is coming soon. It also owns India, and India is always relevant.

I was messing around :lol2:

I was actually thinking about asking you three things:

1) What is your relation with Nouvelle France? (Next to France they are my closest friend)
2) How big is your economy? (I should probably search this in the app but much easier this way :P )
3) Would you like to trade with me?

Oh, whoops :P
They weren't really formalised IRL, so I'm thinking we can do it just as roughly ICly. You could say Baden is in the NGC's sphere, for example, because it's interested in joining it, and its close both culturally and in other ways. Scandinavia isn't really in anyone's sphere, since it's very near several GPs, none of which have made any moves towards it. It's also fairly strong itself, and hasn't made any moves towards any GPs. It's all fairly rough.

1. There's no relations. We don't border them, and their invasion of California certainty doesn't make Nouvelle France seem any better in the eyes of Alaska. In other words we're too far away from them to care about them, though their actions says no good about them.
2. Decent sized, growing slowly but like gold.
3. Ofc. Though Alaska isn't very diversified when it comes to exports.

Coal, Timber, fur products and angry babushkas mostly.
Beef, Bison, Fish and Gold will soon be added to the mix.

Ik!
Alaska is quite isolated from the rest of the world, and with only three main resources Alaska doesn't have much to offer. It's shitty geographic position makes the country kinda boring. I'd switch to a nation closer to the action but the CMW seems just as boring and Chile's history makes it sort of icky. I digress however, I still have some ideas for Alaska that could have me entertained for a while.

Buj still seems to be Portugal...I'll look into Russia, but I've never managed to pull off a proper Russia that doesn't have a crippling number of issues.

Can I get a general sense on how people are going to react to it when Mongolia fully falls apart? I mean it's already basically three separate states, but when it officially collapses what are people going to do? (Please refer to my previous post describing what will roughly happen)
