His eyes are a deep blue and from a certain angle appear purple.Biography: Lord Edric Dayne is the current lord of Starfall, having inherited the title as a young boy. He grew up in the Dornish castle of Starfall with what remained of his family, namely Allyria Dayne his aunt. The rest of his family had died during or following Robert's Rebellion. His uncle, the famous Arthur Dayne, being slain at the Tower of Joy along with most of Aerys Targaryen's remaining Kingsguard. His aunt, Ashara Dayne, threw herself from the Palestone Tower following the war. Her reasons are disputed and range from grief over the loss of her brother, the stillbirth of her child, or shame of being dishonored by an unknown man. Edric's mother died years later, while giving birth to Edric in 287. His father, the Lord of Starfall, would follow three years later from injuries sustained in a hunting accident. This left only Edric and Allyria as the main branch of House Dayne.
For the next four years Edric was raised in Starfall by loyal house stewards and his aunt. By the time he was seven years old Edric had developed into a kind-hearted boy, well liked by those who knew him. This was also the year Edric's aunt became betrothed to Lord Beric Dondarrion of House Blackhaven. Edric traveled with her to House Blackhaven's seat in the Dornish Marches, where became a page in service to Lord Beric. For three years Edric served as a capable page, running simple errands for Lord Beric. At the age of ten Edric was raised to the rank of squire and began to further his training in combat and the laws of chivalry.
One year later Lord Beric competed at the Hand's tourney, held in honor of Eddard Stark's appointment. Lord Beric was eventually eliminated from the joust by Thoros of Myr. Instead of returning to Blackhaven Beric and Endric reained in King's Landing. He was soon commanded by Lord Stark to lead a force to the Riverlands and bring the King's justice to Gregor Clegane, who had been raiding villages across the countryside. Lord Beric obliged and gathered a host of one hundred and twenty men and rode to the Riverlands. Edric accompanied his master, as is the duty of a squire. Among the force are Thoros of Myr, Ser Gladden Wylde, Lord Lothar Mallery, Ser Marq Piper, Lord Raymun Darry, and Ser Karyl Vance.
After following the Mountain's trail to the Mummer's Ford crossing of the Red Fork, the force was ambushed by men of House Lannister. While, retreating back across the river Lord Beric and his men are taken fro behind by the Mountain and his raiding force. The battle is a disaster, of Beric's one hundred and twenty men barely forty survive. Among the dead are Ser Raymun Darry, Ser Gladden Wylde, Lord Lothar Mallery, and Lord Beric Dondarrion. Edric pulled the fallen body of Lord Beric from the river and stood over him as the battle ensued around them, Edric killed his first man while guarding the body.
At some point during the chaos Thoros of Myr, uttered prayers to the Red God over the body of Lord Beric. To the surprise of all present, Lord Beric is brought back to life. The remnants of the shattered force go on to form the brotherhood without banners, with Edric Dayne continuing to squire for the resurrected Lord Beric. During this time Edric would see his master fall six more times only to be returned to life by Thoros each time, save the last. Lord Beric died for a final time after giving his life to Catelyn Tully following the slaughter at the Twins.
After Lady "Stoneheart's" resurrection and assumption of command over the brotherhood Edric left the group, owing no loyalty to Catelyn or rest of the brotherhood, and becoming increasingly alarmed at the vengeful nature of the new commander. For the next two years Edric made his way south, avoiding bandits and patrols. The few times Edric couldn't avoid battle he proved himself a capable warrior cutting down full grown men and ably escaping pursuers.
By 301AC Edric had returned to Starfall having collected his aunt from Blackhaven and telling her of the death of her betrothed. He tactfully left out the rebirths and multiple deaths. At Starfall Edric assumed control of Starfall and its lands. One of his first actions as the actualized Lord of Starfall wass to order his men to assist in the capture of Gerold "the Darkstar" Dayne, a distant cousin and head of House Dayne's cadet branch at High Hermitage. After nearly four months of hunting Darkstar he was captured by knights of House Dayne and delivered to their overlords the Martells, who quickly beheaded him for his attempted murder of Myrcella.
The knight who captured Gerold Dayne, Ser Sybas Santagar, was greatly rewarded for his deeds by Edric. He was made master-at-arms of Starfall and would eventually wed Lord Edric's aunt, Allyria. For the next twenty nine years Edric has ruled in Starfall, proving himself and fair and honest ruler and loyal bannerman to house Martell. He has in that time taken a wife, Elizba Qorgyle, and raised three children: Tomos, Ashara, and Rache.

NS Nation Name: Phalnia
Character Name: Ser Tomos Dayne
Nickname, if any: N/A
Title, if any: The Sword of the Morning
Age: Twenty-three
Gender: Male
House Allegiance: House Dayne
Appearance: Tomos Dayne is a well-built man, standing a head taller than most men. His hair is fair of color and his eyes are pale blue.
Biography: Tomos Dayne is the eldest child and only son of Lord Edric Dayne and Lady Elizba Dayne. He was raised in the traditional fashion of nobility. He was taught to read and write, to ride a horse, and to wield a sword. By the time he was seven it was clear that Tomos had a gift for swordplay, being able to best all of the boys he would practice against. The next year, Edric arranged for his son to be fostered by the Yronwoods.
For the following six years Tomos served as a page and squire before being knighted for valor at the age of sixteen. After this honor Ser Tomos traveled around the southern half of the realm, never venturing much further than the Stony Sept. His time was spent competing in tourneys and taking work as a hedge knight. However, wherever Tomos wentgo a raven would soon follow. Each letter was the same, Lord Edric would ask Tomos to return to Starfall and assume his place as heir apparent of House Dayne. Tomos would send a reply stating he still needed to see more of the land beyond Dorne.
During the fourth year of his absence, a small tournament was held in honor of Lord Edric fortieth nameday. The entrants consisted mostly of knights sworn to House Dayne and surrounding houses and hedge knights. One such hedge knight quickly garnered much attention and multiple favors from the ladies in attendance. This unknown knight secured victory in the grand melee and went on to win at the lists. When asked to declare a queen of love and beauty, the knight chose a young woman of house Fowler and removed his helm to crown her. To the surprise of the crowd, the mystery knight was revealed as Tomos Dayne.
The next day Tomos was named the Sword of the Morning, having bested all the knights of House Dayne at the previous day's tournament. Accordingly, Tomos was gifted the ancient greatsword Dawn, which had rested within the vaults of Starfall since being returned by Lord Eddard Stark. This day also began Tomos' courting of Jenise Fowler, daughter of Jeyne Fowler. Since then Tomos has ably served as a knight in his father's service, keeping peace and bringing justice when that fails. More recently, Jenise and Tomos' courtship has blossomed into a formal betrothal, with a wedding being planned.

If the attack fails, and Zereno dies (which is entirely a possibility, seeing as he'd much rather die than fail) are the Martells still open?

I hope at least one of the attacks will succeed. Since you wouldn't ally with me I am now cheering for Volantis and Sunstone to wear each other down so that eventually whoever comes out on top will be vulnerable to Ghiscari influence.

Just to add to this, it seems that most of Westeros is pretty divided on the whole Tyrell-in-charge thing. Most of the North, Riverlands, and Eyrie, as well as half of the Stormlands are anti-Tyrell, everyone else is either pro-Tyrell or neutral. ATM Loras is doing his best to sway as many lords as possible to his cause, while my guy, Maxwell Tyrosus, (Lord of a vassal house to the Baratheons) is doing everything in his power to sway them to the true Targaryens.

I am curious--if Storm's End were to declare for the pro-Tyrell faction, how would Lord Maxwell act?
