I attacked it, killed the Prince that refused to pay us, and quickly left for Quarth

The city guard of Pentos would likely be much larger than the Golden Company, and even if the city were conquered, not only would the Prince be killed by the Magisters, as is custom, but the Magisters would have no reason to listen to you at all, when they can probably pay off most of your men.

The gold I took from Pentos had it's use. And we are talking about almost 20.000 people here. I don't think that any of those fleets would have attacked us too easy
