• Have Missandei introduce Mordonin Jaerator to Aemon
• Have Aurane Velaryon and Daemon Waters respond to Lady Sansa
• Have Missandei respond to Lady Maelesa
• Have Aemon greet his family
• Have the Ghiscari military start the war, and have Aemon write Lord Taelemor
• (If possible have Missandei welcome the Dothraki some IC days after all the rest)

Thank you. I've had high hopes for it kinda crushed due to not many people signing up for it. As far as I can remember, at least one other person here is also in it. To anyone who wants to join, it's called 500 AL (Since when I made it TWOIAF was not out where in Australia and the years we're called AL). As you can guess, it takes place long after this, in a timeline where Tommen and Margaery's descendent's are royalty, but somewhere along to way, mixed into Shireen's line, giving them the trademark black hair and blue eyes. I didn't want to have to resort to asking other roleplays to advertise it so sorry if you think it's intruding. All I ask is you give it a look over and sign up with you wish.

I'm also unsure about how much wealth Mantarys has, and how many mercenary companies it would be able to hire, and how long it would take them to reach Mantarys.

I put a ton of letters in the post, aimed at various people. I guess Arana will decide what some of the Free Cities and banks will decide, while Quendi will decide what the cities under his control and his population does, however unlikely it is for them to do anything.

I'm also unsure about how much wealth Mantarys has, and how many mercenary companies it would be able to hire, and how long it would take them to reach Mantarys.

I will respond tomorrow then and commence the war. About my cities they are all except Elyria and Tolos ruled over by governorships that owe their appointments directly to the emperor and in those cities where there isn't great public support for the empire (Yunkai and New Ghis) and where the public might favor uprising the governments will resist it at all costs knowing that even if they should desire independence and believe themselves able to secure it their own chances of remaining in power if they got it would be damaged by their ties to the empire. Tolos I assume would be virulently anti-Mantarys since it has been at war with your city and would be the main benefactor of Mantarys's fall. So that leaves Elyria. Elyria might have both public and elite support for independence, but Elyria has no demon road and Mantarys has no navy. Elyria's own navy can't take on the imperial navy even when the imperial navy can't rely on dragon support so at best Elyria is going to keep a low profile unless Mantarys can get an ally to Slaver's Bay that can challenge the Imperial naval supremacy.

As for Mantarys's wealth its a fairly isolated city and the demon road probably isn't very conducive to trade so its wealth would probably need to depend on what precious metals it can find in the Painted Mountains I suspect. But rich or poor mercenary companies are only payed after a war (or during if there is a chance to loot something) so theoretically you can hire every mercenary from Braavos to Qarth if you like. Getting them to Mantarys might however be a problem. The Demon Road isn't going to be more gentle to them then to the Imperial forces, the difference being that the imperial forces has a much shorter distance to travel. But since Yunkai could apparently magically conjure two mercenary companies in just a weeks time presumably they some time run around in the east so you could RP that one or two are close to Mantarys from the get go and rush them into the city.

Talaemor likely knows that his pamphlets to the Imperial cities won't do anything, but it is a nice 'screw you' to the Emperor. Tolos would never side with Mantarys, which is why he didn't bother to send them a letter. I agree that Elyria will likely try to stay out of the war, unless either side gains an advantage that persuades them into action.

It is likely that one of two companies would be near Mantarys already, or traveling there, since Talaemor had planned another attack on Tolos after the wedding. Likely smaller companies though, intended to bolster his forces in such an attack, never planned to take part in the defence of the city.

I doubt Mantarys would have the money to buy the Golden Company anyway. Not to mention it would be weird pitting a Targaryen-loyalist(ish) faction against a Targaryen ruler. Though, anything seems possible.
