Well, 1000 is a big number so I guess the sacrifice could be justified if there's no other way.

I mean, that thing could probably move at several times the speed of sound and punch through cubic meters of steel.

That's an entirely different matter. Weapons aren't abilities, and even then, how do you augment, say, a venom injector 1000 times?

1. It'd be stupid to make a module that breaks the suit, seeing as Eidolon and above armour is very valuable and destroying it to win a single battle would be pointless.
2. What happens when you loose your suit and your still alive? The Aheani probably wouldn't give you a replacement after wrecking the first, and even if they did, it defeat the whole point of the sacrifice.
3. It's counter Aheani philosophy. The power armour is not supposed to be a mere too you can discard for a boost, it's a lifelong friend, or even a part/extension of yourself.

You're not outright discarding anything, you're just more vulnerable after using the module.

It could apply to Sunsetter though, I'm not sure.
