I know. I was exaggerating.

Seraph armor is terrifying. One mission should be that the Asura figured out how yo produce, and our mission is to stop them and get it for ourselves.

My point was actually that they could very likely blast a city back to the stone age. Those things can get all the modules. :P

Maybe. Again you're assuming the Aheani are all of one mind on this.

Not really. But don't the Aheani have control of the only Seraphs in existence? Those things could likely blast whole Cities back to the Stone Age.

War capabilities aside, for now there won't be any Human Government, Autonomous Council or otherwise. Humanity is currently fine with what it is.

Yup... And some other nifty secret weapons and special things which you may or may not get access to. Not the least of which would be your very own lost age tech relic...

Thats just strength and durability without modification...
So they can get a lot stronger and a lot tougher.
Plus theres the special modules at that level to consider.

There is no human government. The humans chose to be a client race of the Aheani. They have no say.

And if you upgrade it, some repeat modules, too.

Hell, they might well blast a whole country back to the Stone Age, if the country was small enough.

Humanity has no cohesive human government. Sure, they have the coalition, but that's more of a place to direct and control the various war efforts. And unless the cores unify, humanity doesn't have a single voice to speak for it.

Cainesland wrote:Why shouldn't they be free?
If there being forced into conscription is that not what freedom is not?

Well, it's a dangerous galaxy out there, and humanity has nearly been killed once.
Being free means they would have to relinquish Aheani technology and their protection. And humanity has already made more than a few enemies.
Besides, not everyone want's to be free. The Aheani are fairly benevolent.

This is also a dilemma for my character. He wants humanity to be independent, but at the same time, he doesn't want to have to give up the technology the Aheani provides.

Would it be possible for the humans to reverse-engineer Aheani technology?

Not really. Humanity is not even sure how half this stuff works. Hell, the Aheani that aren't in the technoma are only half sure how half of the stuff works.

I don't think they need to reverse engineer Aheani Technology. They know how to build most of it. But the problem is, the Aheani have the big guns, and Humanity doesn't know how to make them. And it's suicide to try to capture the big guns.

So kind of like how most (or a lot) of humanity today doesn't know how to produce our tech. From how to build spaceships to how to build a baseball bat a lot of people don't know how to do it, and mainly only those that build it as there line of work or learned through family, know how to do or build something.

Is that an accurate comparison to what your saying about how most of the aheani only know how to build half the stuff in the empire (a very impressive feat, educationally speaking I must say)?
