Maxwell has that effect on people. Getting stared at by him is like a Ring Wraith riding at you. Him being 6'7'' certainly does help that effect.

I can imagine him saying that in tears once she says that, then collapsing to his knees and sobbing. Then Asuna feeling slightly sorry for him, helps him through his troubles by talking to him about it. Remember, guys: Maxwell is a tall, willowy, polite kid, but he's mentally unstable.

So is there like one core per country (representing that country)? With the remaining possible cores being domed from a combo ethnic groups or specialities? Or was earth divided into 280 or so districts with each district having a core and a few non district cores based on specialization?
I understand earth was divided up into 300 cores but I wasn't sure about how that's divide up on earth.
I ask (simply put) out of curiosity and for clarification.

Not really, mostly just groups of people either the Aheani found together or people who happen to share similar tactics.

Oh, well it's just like if the world had been united. Anyone can join any core, but people tend to be designated to cores by their families or whomever recruitment centre is closest.
