Youngish dragon only around 30-40 years old. 12 feet long. Breathes fire. Weak around the underbelly like all dragons. Blinded in his left eye by an accident as a hatchling.

I would upsize it a bit to put it somewhere along the size of Ancalagon the Black. Only a minor upgrade, but it would put it within the realm of reason.

Race: Dunedain
Appearance: medium height, brown hair, brown eyes
History: Amsden is one of the four remaining rangers in Bree. He decided to stay and help Bree against Bill Ferny and his Half-Orcs, rather than follow Aragorn and his fellow rangers, deciding that there are battles to fight in Bree. He knows of the Council, and encouraged Drogo to go, but Drogo insisted that he was not leaving Bree. He is preparing for his journey to Rivendell. Who knows what perils await him?
Alignment: Good
Goals: Save Middle-Earth, join the Council, defend Bree

I need a last name. And a better excuse. Really, Bill Ferny? There can't be more than 10 Half-orcs, and I would have thought Drogo would have already gotten rid of them. Also add how he knows of the Council.

Bill Ferny fled to the outskirts of Breelands and mustered an army with the help of Angmar. He plots to rule Bree as its king. Forget the part about assisting Drogo. Afrren knows of the Council through his Dunadain brethren. And his full name is Afrren Toen.

Nothing of the sort, just a score of them meeting representatives from the Shire in an in-between location.

As for my character I made him something of a local hero, nothing epic, just that he is known to do good deeds. And I made the implication that he worked alongside the guards of the city at times. Also mentioned that he went with whatever group you send to the council for the very least further protection not heir journeys. (that way I have an excuse for a local to go) Just want to make sure that is all okay.

Only Afrren Toen if he's accepted. Bree can't spare anyone else. But your character could insist on going.

I was stating that he was going in my character's app since he isn't actually apart of Bree, just a native of the land and since he travels a lot (hence his name Lloyd the Wayfarer) with a good reputation he would seem like a decent accompaniment to go along with whoever is sent.

But if that doesn't work I can figure something else out.

Character App-

Character name: Serjeant Cedovar “The Half-Hand” Grubb

Race: Stoor Hobbit

Appearance:
Image

History: A distant cousin thrice removed from the King in Michel Delving, Cedovar has distanced himself from his ambitious cousin. In his youth, Cedovar took a liking to horses and ponies, though in an accident just before his 27th birthday his hand was maimed from a fall. Since the ring was taken from Middle Earth, King Maridoc made Cedovar an officer in his pony regiments, and many a time has tasked loyal old Cedovar with delicate and often dangerous missions.

Disgruntled but knowing no other home, Cedovar has tolerated his cousin and thus continues to be a loyal soldier. Cedovar was recently tasked with brokering an agreement between the local Rohirrim and his cousin’s Kingdom.

Alignment Good

Goals: To not die.

Other: Maybe join the Fellowship

How active will you be?: I believe we already went over this.

I thought that Smaug was the last dragon in Middle-Earth? Or the last winged drake, at any rate.

Alright then I'll just say 1,000 since it satisfies my OCD. Also the area would be like a large mountain and surrounding area super hard to get through given the tons of mountains. My dragon will want minions and gold so it'll be attacking convoys of everybody until it has all the monies. ^^

My only concern is how it would differentiate one groups normal recruitment compared to a group who is actively seeking out allies/volunteers.

True, but i'm also worried that we end up with just impossible numbers. I guess i prefer no recruitment aswell becouse of the fact that it would make any realm think twice before attacking somebody. It would give everything a much more strategic approach.
