Still working on the post in the Barad-Dur; I know I need to address the Knight of Umbar, but is anyone else a Nazgul or commander of Mordor that would be at the meeting?

Faction App-

Realm name: Clan Gratis

Leader name: Chieftain Varangi Gratis

Race: Humans

History: Many years earlier house Gratis was a small time merchant family living beneath the great mountain of Erebor, in the human city of Dale. After Smaug destroyed the city and killed many of the inhabitants, house Gratis was one of the few that were fortunate enough to escape along with several hundred others. Believing that Lake Town was destroyed along with Dale the survivors fled north. Hoping that a Dwarven stronghold yet remained in the Grey Mountains, they found only ash, and ruins, and dragons.

After several years trying to survive on the hills beneath the mountains, House Gratis and a great number of the survivors migrated back south east. Giving the lonely mountain a wide berth and so too staying well away from Esgaroth, House Gratis and the others didn’t stop until they reached the outskirts of southern Mirkwood. Settling down, the survivors began to divide into separate clans, the largest: Clan Gratis. With Sauron nearby, the clans began to be corrupted by his will and soon after they were scattered to the wind when the dark lord found them to be worthless. They fled south yet again until they came to their current home, the dead Marshes. Clan Gratis and several other clans fanned out into the Marshes and took great swaths of the Marsh as their own, occasionally fighting one another for contested regions. But slowly and surely, they all descended into madness.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Goals: Survive, grow stronger, and unite the clans!

Territory:(if any) Dead Marshes (Kinda)

Military Strength/Population(in numbers) 70 Clansmen Warriors, 250 Clans-people total

3018- Do not remove, this is for finding apps

Given I talked with you, and your ideas are plausible, I can say accepted.

If I were you, I'd add something about being driven mad by the dead and the corpse-lights. That would given them a nice addition to their backstory.

I will post tomorrow for the hobbits, Breemen, and Mordor. Saturday is one of the two days I have very busy.

And aw shucks, the dark lord calling the Lord of the Midnight Sun clever...brings butterflies to his undead stomach.

BTW, why are Ents on par with Mumakil in the strength table? Last I recall, a Mumak is about the size of at least 20 Ents... And an Olog-Hai could easily take one on...

Sauron was in corporeal form in the book, the Eye reference in them was symbolic, IIRC.

^ This.

Also, Sauron could no longer take a fair form as stated by Tolkien, but that leaves him completely able to take a form fell and terrible.

More to the point, according to Tolkien's Letter No. 246,

"In his actual presence none but very few of equal stature could have hoped to withhold it from him. Of 'mortals' no one, not even Aragorn. In the contest with the Palantír Aragorn was the rightful owner. Also the contest took place at a distance, and in a tale which allows the incarnation of great spirits in a physical and destructible form their power must be far greater when actually physically present. Sauron should be thought of as very terrible. The form that he took was that of a man of more than human stature, but not gigantic. In his earlier incarnation he was able to veil his power (as Gandalf did) and could appear as a commanding figure of great strength of body and supremely royal demeanour and countenance."

That essentially means Sauron lost his ability to veil his true form, but retained the ability to take form itself.

Gollum does state the following;
"`Yes, He has only four on the Black Hand, but they are enough," - in The Two Towers and I assume Gollum would've had to have seen this first hand, ala when he was getting tortured, to know this.

Do note, just because Sauron has a corporeal form doesn't mean he's War of the Last Alliance OP. :P

Alright, now here's a little aesthetic request from me.

Instead of Khamul looking like a generic Nazgul, may he look like this?
And, for weapons I'd like to ask if Khamul may wield two scimitars whilst on foot instead of the typical longsword and whilst on horseback/on fellbeast a large polearm that has a pike and an axehead on one end, like a halberd, but a mace on the other end of the pole.

I'm just trying to make him unique/stand out :P They wont be any more OP than if he were to be wielding his longsword.

Ok then, that's fine with Sauron then.
As for Khamul, you want him to wear white?
As for the weapons, the polearm seems a bit heavy, but sure, he's your character.
