Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history: Major combat in the Chinese Civil War ended in 1949 with the Communist Party in control of most of mainland China, and the Kuomintang retreating offshore, reducing the ROC's territory to only Taiwan, Hainan, and their surrounding islands. On 1 October 1949, Communist Party Chairman Mao Zedong proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China. In 1950, the People's Liberation Army succeeded in capturing Hainan from the ROC and occupying Tibet. However, remaining Nationalist forces continued to wage an insurgency in western China throughout the 1950s.
Mao encouraged population growth, and under his leadership the Chinese population almost doubled from around 550 million to over 900 million. However, Mao's Great Leap Forward, a large-scale economic and social reform project, resulted in an estimated 45 million deaths between 1958 and 1961, mostly from starvation. Between 1 and 2 million landlords were executed as "counterrevolutionaries." In the early 60's, China assisted communist Vietnamese. With their new Chinese backers, the Vietnamese reunified by 1963, with most of the 1961-1962 being the NVA rooting out the remnants of South Vietnam's government and army who continued to resist. With the war ended, the Chinese concluded a pact with the Vietnamese, ensuring mutual defense and free trade between the two nations, with China also supplying Vietnam with the industrial supplies and advisers so that they could modernize similarly to their new Chinese allies. While they were supporting the Vietnamese, the Chinese also supported a revolt in Mongolia. Mongolia was long torn between the Soviet and Chinese spheres, and this move sparked a civil war that still scars the steppes of Mongolia today, both physically and politically. The Mongolian Civil War resulted in the nation being torn in half, with the North, or "Mongolian Socialist Republic," being supported by the USSR, and the south, or "Mongolian People's Republic," being supported by the Chinese. The Mongolian Civil War ended in 1963 as a stalemate, and both Mongolian nations quickly became little more than puppets for their Soviet and Chinese benefactors.
The next nation to fall in line with the Chinese was North Korea, who had long played China and the USSR off each other to the North Koreans benefit. Seeing the meteoric rise of China, and no doubt feeling either kinship or threatened by the Chinese who had once helped them drive the UN forces from their lands. In 1965, Kim Il Sung declared that "North Korea would embrace the philosophy of Maoism, and stand in the vanguard against the bourgeois West and imperialist USSR."
The US during this period was slow to react, considering the Chinese to be simply a new threat to the USSR, a distraction that could allow it to build it's alliances and continue to rebuild and expand their markets and economies. When Saigon fell, the US finally to notice of the rising tiger that was the new Chinese superpower. US strategic assets - missiles, bases, troops - that were once almost fully concentrated in Europe were transferred to the new Asian theater, and were positioned in the US's allies in the region - South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines. In the 1964 election, the topic of China's expansion allowed for a much more competitive Republican Party, whose candidate - Barry Goldwater - lost by a small margin to the incumbent, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Republicans still controlled the Senate, however, and they pressured the president to increase the militaries of all of the members of NATO, and assist the Japanese in building their "Self-Defense Forces."
The final act - to the present day - that confirmed Chinese entrance into the Cold War was the detonation of their own nuclear weapon, along with an announcement that they had "more than enough to equal the warheads of the Imperialists." This is considered a lie, as the Chinese nuclear program had only been around for a decade at most, and they were mostly working with stolen Russian and American tech, but nonetheless, China proved it could make nuclear weapons, and that they would also factor into the increasingly large death total, should the great powers go to war, a war that would be the last of all wars.

Not OP, but for starts, Romania doesn't even have 23 Million people today, let alone in the 60's.
Second, remember what happened to Hungary in '56 when it tried a similar move? It got invaded by the Soviets.
And lastly, the troops numbers are about 3 times as much as in the 80's at their largest extent: 'During the 1980s, the land forces numbered 140,000 personnel, of whom two thirds were conscripts'

First: In 1987, Romania had a population of 23,102,000 , so in 1969 it had a aprox population of 23.000.000, maybe less. With the liberalization, it actually took place, more of less, until the 80's. And this is why i sad TRYING. Who knows what will hapen in this RP.
Second the Army of the Socialist Republic of Romania had 400.000 soldiers. Yes, lots of them were conscripts, had no idea how to fight, usually they were used at other work, and they were one of the reasons why the RSR's economy was fucked up. I was going to change this in a RP post. But they were 400.000. This was the situation of almoust all Armies in the Communist Bloc, made after the model of the Soviet Army. But in the Application post it says "Anything armed and maintained under your national flag."

With the population, yes I recognise my mistake. I have forgotten that only AFTER Ceausescu took the power Romania's population exploded, and we are only in the 60's.
Regarding the Army, I would like to atract your attentio that it says 1980's. I am sure that in the 60's the Army had 400.000 soldiers, because I asked my grandfather, which was a colonel in the RSR army

Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history: The Constitutional monarchy of East Africa came "Alive" during the colonial period first known as the native population of Ethiopia, as many Europeans took the spots of the natives. Allowing them to take western arms against the Italians, East Africa gained ground. East Africa started their conquests by defending against the Italians with the arms giving by England, France, and even Russia. After the defending against foreign powers was over, they began the offensive. Attacking Italian Somaliland, and quickly capturing it for themselves. After that, they waited for a revolution of Anti-colonists to emerge in British Africa, quickly taking advantage. With a rebellion revolting in much of Southern Africa. Quickly gaining grounds of British Sudan, and British Somaliland. Gomulka's reforms have been highly praised and the standard of living has risen greatly during his time as First Secretary, leading to a period a large economic growth. However, much of this was funded with foreign loans from the west, increasing Polish national debt. But that is not the only economic problem on the horizon, the Soviets, looked upon the liberalisation of the "Gomulka Thaw" with worry, and applied their weight to the PZPR to steer away from said course. Leading to a great slowdown in growth and great increase in unrest and opposition to the regime.
Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history: At the Yalta Conferance the future of Poland was decided. The nation was moved to and redrawn to where it had been and how it had looked in the middle ages. Stalin was determined that Poland's new government would become his tool towards making Poland a Soviet puppet state controlled by the communists. He had severed relations with the Polish government-in-exile in London in 1943, but to appease Roosevelt and Churchill he agreed at Yalta that a coalition government would be formed. The communists held a majority of key posts in this new government, and with Soviet support they soon gained almost total control of the country, rigging all following elections. The opponents led by Stanisław Mikolajczyk, managed only one, ableit very great victory. Poland preserved its status as an independent state, contrary to the plans of some influential communists who supported the idea of Poland becoming another republic of the Soviet Union. This important victory would be their last, however, as the communists, tightening their grip on power started persecuting all opposition. Many of their opponents decided to leave the country, those who remained were put on staged trials and sentenced to many years of imprisonment or death. Hardcore Stalinist First Secretary Boleslaw Bierut, set about bringing Poland into line with the Soviet model of a "people's democracy" and a centrally planned Marxist economy. Private industry was nationalised, the land seized from the pre-war landowners and redistributed to the peasants, and millions of Poles were transferred from the lost eastern territories to the lands reacquired from Germany. The government also embarked on the collectivisation of agriculture, although the pace was slower than in other satellites: Poland remains the only Warsaw Pact country where individual farmers dominate agriculture.
Bierut died in 1956 and was replaced with Edward Ochab. In June, workers in the city of Poznan went on strike, as the communist regime never managed to enter the hearts and minds of the Polish mob. Voices began to be raised in the Party and among the intellectuals calling for wider reforms of the Stalinist system. And thus, eventually, power shifted towards Gomulka, who replaced Ochab as leader of the PZPR. Hardline Stalinists were removed from power and many Soviet officers serving in the Polish Army were dismissed. This marked the end of the Stalinist era. The Gomulka regime set about a liberalization of the country, mostly in regard to economics, making it easier for small private enterprises in the service and agricultural sectors and lifting a number of media restrictions are a few examples. The progress managed to silence much of the grumbling. But the liberalization caught the ears of the Soviet Union who reasserted their authority over their satellite state and the resulting economic dowturn, and increased represseion is on the way to throw Poland into economic as well as political difficulties...

This is considered a lie, as the Chinese nuclear program had only been around for a decade at most, and they were mostly working with stolen Russian and American tech, but nonetheless, China proved it could make nuclear weapons, and that they would also factor into the increasingly large death total, should the great powers go to war, a war that would be the last of all wars.

Finished.

Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history: The State of Israel came into existence in 1948 amid civil war (initiated by the Arab community after they refused to acknowledge a UN division of territory between a Jewish State and a Muslim State) and invasion by hostile Arab nations. However the Jewish people were victorious against their aggressors and so the Israeli State survived to continue on into the future. Still tensions ran high in the region and in 1967 Israel (despite being outnumbered in troops, tanks, and aircraft capabilities) initiated a war that would later be known as the Six-Day War despite hostilities only lasting between June 5-10. Two years later Israel still holds the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank as territory under its occupation. However with fears that both the Soviet Union and the newly aggressive China might support Israel's enemies in the future Israel seeks to join NATO in order to better protect itself from hostile aggression.
