It's like 26% use it as their main language with another 20% using it alongside english. There is actually a major revival going on amongst young folk. And Eire is just as commonly used(across the pond in Connecticut) as Ireland.
Actually, using Eire instead of Eíre is very offensive. Because Eire without the accent means "burden".
