If this nation is hindu that'll make everything even more interesting. Successful Mughals. Non-neo-Confucianism China. Christian Japan. Hindu Indochina.
Asia is the bomb.

Wait, is your army focused more on fast, mobile attacks?

I do believe that we're speaking English, and the English translation of Eire is Ireland.
Also, the vast majority of Irishmen are English-speaking and use the term Ireland, 'Eire' is only really used by the Irish Government, IIRC.

Similar to how Alba is usually only used by the scottish government instead of the majority of the populace, as most scots don't speak Scottish Gaelic due to its outlawing way back when.

It's like 26% use it as their main language with another 20% using it alongside english. There is actually a major revival going on amongst young folk. And Eire is just as commonly used(across the pond in Connecticut) as Ireland.

Yeha, but that is by no way a majority is what I am saying. And I mean don't get me wrong, I'm all for a revival of the Irish language, but I doubt that English will ever lose precedance in Ireland as at least a secondary language. Ease of use for most people aside, knowing English opens up so many opportunities nowadays.
Connecticut doesn't count, damn it. If they love Ireland so much they should just name it New Ireland!
(that being said I swear to god the Irish are sex-happy mother fuckers, literally 3/4 of the people I know claim to have some sort of Irish ancestry xD)

It's the dominance of irish culture(if an irish and a French married, the kid would be Irish and the like), combined with the fact that 150 years ago 8 million or so Irish left mostly for America. More Irish left ireland than there are Irish in Ireland today
