A distant cousin was competing in a match, and Kat tagged along to watch. She became virtually obsessed with the idea of commanding a tank, and begged her parents to let her attend a school with a Sensha-do program. However, her parents were largely opposed, and responded by sending her to Reivers, a school which had not possessed a Sensh-do program for twenty years. Unfortunately for them, they had already paid for all the expenses of transferring Kat to a new school, when the announcement that Reiver Academy was restarting its Sensha-do program was made. Kat is going to get her wish.

Personality: Quiet, reserved, and generally polite, Maya acts as a foil to Kat's high-energy attitude. She can become rather flustered under high pressure, but responds well to encouragement from others.
Bio: Maya got pulled into Kat's little group once the foreign-exchange student noticed her seemingly natural aptitude for hitting things with other things from a distance. While usually gravitating towards archery, Kat convinced Maya that it would be more exciting to shoot something with real fire-power. In a spur of the moment decision, seemingly infected by Kat's fiery attitude, she withdrew her application from the archery team and applied for Sensha-do after Kat learned the program was starting back up.

Personality: Saya has a sharp tongue, and can come off as rude and uncooperative, but people who are familiar with her know that her bark is worse than her bite. She can actually be a bit of a crybaby. She's also rather lazy, something Kat is playing as a joke by forcing Saya to be the loader.
Bio: Saya, like Maya, has virtually no experience with Sensha-do, except for a vague knowledge of it. She was initially on less than friendly terms with Kat, but something about Kat's infectious attitude and unwillingness to NOT be friends caused her to change her tune. She's, somewhat grudgingly, a loyal friend to Kat, and will stand by her, even when things get rather chancy. Like Maya, she was roped into it by Kat's insistence that friends should stick together. "What better way for us to become better friends to to temper our relationships in the fires of battle!" was the line used by Kat.

Personality: Hyper-active, and constantly needing to be doing SOMETHING. She has a short attention span, and is also hungry virtually all the time. Expect her to always have the snacks. Her personality may result in a "unique" driving style.
Bio: Miska never really fit in around other students, mainly because her hyper-active nature and short-attention span either drove people crazy, or made it impossible for them to keep up. She almost naturally gravitated towards Kat as something "new and exciting", and happily discovered that Kat was almost as energetic as she is. Maya doesn't seem to mind her (she doesn't seem to mind anything), but Saya is often irritated by Misaka's antics, and the conflicts between the two are often mediated by Kat and Maya.

(I'll probably be adding a fifth character at some point, because I'm hoping to move my girls into a more substantial tank later into the RP.)

Remember our starting tanks are supposed to be crappy, because the school has little funds. Upgrading doesn't have to follow a technological line. So you could start with a Russian tank (presumably a light one) and eventually get a KV-1 or 2.

Bio: Viktoryia was born to a famous Russian politician and a small peasant woman, and had a twin, Vladmira. However, being the product of an affair, the man had to keep both a secret and leave the children to her mother, Anna, and her husband Rufus. When she was 3 she fell off of the plow horse and was run under the plow, thankfully unharmed except her brain function. Throughout her life, the politician, Fyodor, who played favorites, would constantly send her letters and gifts, showing his deep regret about him not being there to care for her. When Viktoryia scored the highest on her military tactics test at her old school, nobody but Fyodor would believe that it had been her, and she was expelled as a cheater. Outraged, Fyodor had the entire school shut down, and paid for Viktoriya's tuition into Reiver Academy, arranging for Vladmira to go along with her as well.

Bio: Natalia lived the high life of a Russian politicians daughter. In fact, Fyodor's daughter to be exact. She always wondered who her daddy was writing to, and would throw temper tantrums when he sent gifts away or refused to tell her where they all were going and what they said. However, if someone does get angry at her or decide to throw a nasty comment her way, Sasha turns into a demon. She will go into a blind rage, disregarding everything she stands for to get back at that person.
Bio: Sasha was born in Ukraine, but stolen by the MGB into Russia when she was too young to remember. She was mistaken for her year old brother, and when the officer realized her mistake, he beat her nearly to death and left her in the street as a bit of food for the stray dogs of Moscow. Luckily, a family took her in and acted as if she was their own, even going as far as to favor her over their other daughter. When she was 9 years old, Sasha, in an attempt to give the family a magic show, burnt down the home. She was shunned, and the family told her to leave, so she became a street urchin. When she noticed Viktoryia walking to get on a train, she instantly took a liking to her. As the three waited, Sasha became fast friends, and stowed away on the train, even going as far to forge herself onto the students list for the academy to keep the only true friends she had ever had in the world, though she is always in the buisness of making more.

Anytime anyone teases Viktoryia or talks about her behind her back, Vladmira gets extremely defensive, and dedicates her time to finding ways to hurt those people emotionally.
Bio: Vladmira never knew who sent the constant stream of letters to her twin sister, and when she asked her mother about it, Anna would only reply "that isn't your concern, deary." Vladmira found out who Fyodor was at the age of 11. Rather than be angry though, she simply embraced the fact that she had been lied to, and realized that it was probably for her own protection. While Vladmira wasn't a master of any subject at school, she seemed to have some sort of odd attraction to local fauna and landscape, and became an expert on terrains and their associated properties. She was shipped off to look after her twin sister to Reiver Academy.

(I'm explaining the two person tank as all the academy could afford at the moment, and the other three are just waiting for a chance to jump into a five person tank, and acting as mechanics and maintinence for now. The two are Viktoriya and Vladmira currently.)

Yep, the 37mm cannon M6 could penetrate 56mm of armor sloped at 30 degrees from 100 meters. M5A1 Stuart also had 30mm of front hull armor sloped at 46 degrees, and 51mm front turret armor (65-66mm with the gun mantlet).

Wait... does that mean my little Stuart is one of the better armored tanks on the team?
