And the only pro I can think of a M1911 variant is that because it's single-stack, it's more easily concealable..... Also, what about the Glock 21SF?
I'm glad that you said something like that and not a Katana..... The only problem is the fact that you can't bash heads in..... That's more of a preference more than anything.
You could still carry at least ten magazines, which is still 221 rounds. So that's not a huge problem. And with a round that big it's more often than not, one shot per customer. And it's one of the most common rounds in America so no problems there either.
The 1911's are actually pretty big and not that easy to conceal. The compact versions are easier to conceal(obviously) but a standard 1911 is taller and longer than the European 45's.
I also don't follow the Glock's much. They're a good brand but.. Just not a fan of them.
Katana's and swords in general aren't common enough or actually real enough(cause replicas are frail and can't be sharpened effectively like my SS Honor Dagger) to use as a weapon. Having said that, I actually did buy this for myself for such an occasion. Just cause it was like $20
